@@billyclub9863 I saw him last week
Saw him last night, He still plays great!
I saw him playing in Toronto a couple nights ago. It's an unforgettable experience. What a Legend he is!
I saw buddy guy live about a year ago. An amazing show, he is a real master - both of blues guitar playing and just as a pure showman/band leader. It might be a cliche, but he does more and says"more with 2 notes than most players do in an entire solo. A real legend.
Awesome lesson Maestro...! Buddy Guy is truly the link from oldskool Blues to modern Rock. The Senior Guitar Slinger is still holding court and cutting heads...ever SINCE the Chicago Chess Records days of 50's to the present and he's still going strong.

Defitely. His take on blues licks was very reminiscent of the later British rocker guys what with the speedy nature of his playing.
Love these videos with Jeff. Have seen 3 so far (Freddie King, BB King and now Buddy Guy), great selection of some of the greatests, looking forward to new videos on other of blues legends. (these have all been added to a saved playlist), keep em coming
Thank you for keeping Buddy Guys sound out here..Great teaching....
Having a clean sound is important for his licks because they are so quick and intricate. I like his work in the Hoodoo Man period. Listen to his playing on Rock Me from the Elektra anthology Chicago- The Blues Today.
Buddy Guy was in Quebec last night. Incredible energy! Great show. Thanks from the tips. Very good video.
Buddy Guy is amazing, thanks for the licks!
Buddy is a living legend. I knew a lot of these licks already but I wish I had seen this when I didn't because you teach them very well. thanks!
I seen Buddy Guy and Koko Taylor at the Riviera Chicago
Seen Buddy twice, a bluesman and a showman, sure can bend them strings! Great video thx👍🎸🇨🇦
Very nice video. Thanks for doing that.
Glad to see the Respect given, he deserves. Seen him multiple times & wish I’d seen him more. Check out his back up guitar player, Ric Jaz!! Buddy could’ve hired Anyone & this is his pic. The Man is great too!! Can’t say enough good about Buddy. I bought one of his autograph, polka dot guitar straps. Read the story behind the polka dots, very cool!!
3:13 man thanks alot I was trying to find that BG Rİff !!!

Saw him there last summer, absolutely killed it!
I love Buddy! I love the old stuff but I think he may have peaked in the early nineties. Still great though.
thanks
Riff 1 is half of the intro of Sweet Home Chicago
Do more of his riffs you like and break it down
excelente
Dirty sounds? Well you should listen to one of the slide guitar master Hound dog Taylor, although I agree with u buddy guy is a badass I love his style 👌🏽
Buddy to Clapton; I like your licks, Clapton to Buddy; You should, I stole them from you.
Sounds like Ace Frehley's mentor and maybe even Slash!!
First riff sounds like Freddie King
2:00 riff 1
He must have a rough time on Canadian tours.

Can’t believe it took someone a year to appreciate that..
Doesn't get clearer than that.
had seen him in NY, BB King's Club...was SOOO disappointed! During the first hour of the gig..."played" three songs...rhythm section played a basic groove and Buddy Guy was just talking, talking to the audience. Here and there a riff or lick. Sorry, at gigs I wanna hear songs!! Have left the gig...
