    Why do you say to turn you elbow out on a jab? It seems like there is less stability when I turn my elbow out. Also, seems less powerful to make contact with two outer knuckles opposed to middle knuckle. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

    Thank you for this video the way you explained it was very helpful. I would like to ask a question. Can you please give me some tips on how I can punch correctly. My arms are built different. I have a slight bend in my arms. When I am punch it looks like I am not fully extending but I am to be honest my arms are healthy but it has a slight bend in it. Please give some tips on how to fully extend.

    It probably occurred while your bones were developing. My sister has the same thing where one of her arms can't fully extend at the elbow. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do unless you get restructuring surgery and will have to stay away from boxing and other combat sports.

    Thank you for the information. One of my boxing coaches told me to fully extend by using my shoulder and to turn my hips when I am punching. I do not want surgery I will try to keep using my shoulder for fully extending my punches. Thank you for your help and thank you for replying.

    How do you know which is your lead hand? Like if you're right handed is it your right hand? Sorry if that's a.stupid question!

  • @tommyduquette265

    @tommyduquette265

    Great question. Your dominant hand is always your rear hand (or back hand). So if you are right handed, your left hand is your lead hand. We do that because it puts your power hand in a position where you can get maximum power. It also helps people develop their non-dominant hand. All that said, some people still prefer to lead with their dominant hand but it's not the most common way to start. Hope that helps. Check out the FightCamp KZread page or app for more tutorials and workouts.
