WOW i just got out of a game where I hit the high score. It felt bugged so I'm glad you have a video on it. I was level 10 with over 100 gold and the arcade cabinet just kept spitting out gold. I was able to get a 3 star yorick and I was extremely close to 3 star qiyana. Now I know that it essentially gives infinite gold.

I almost hit the 8 bit high score the other day, but I was trolling too much early and was too low HP. Didn't help that I was stuck on 4 8-bits since I couldn't get a spat/emblem. Only now do I realize that you need 6 to even hit the high score prize anyways...

Love the set. Fun. Great theme. The Legendary Horde is getting a bit dull but hopefully that can get improved over time.

If it makes you feel any better the reward used to be 30 gold and a FoN, seems like they buffed it a ton since then and still lowered the damage requirement by ~25%

Can confirm, hit 10 heartsteel on day 3. It was epic.

12:44 I hope the team will reconsider and bring back heart/soul and crest/crown augments in future sets. These are some of the most fun augments IMO and they were only a problem in set 9 because you could force with urf legend. These augments were fine in set 6/7/8 it's only 9 where it became a problem.

Im sorry, those augments would wreak havoc in this set. It will be TOO easy too hit maximum traits. The benefits for max traits in this set is godly. That value is lessened if you can reliably do it once every two games or so.

Are pool sizes for each tiers displayed anywhere in game? Perhaps if you mouse over the percentage chances it would display a text blurb that has all the pool sizes.

Mort said a long time ago they'll never straight up show pool sizes and odds for getting champs. It would essentially just tell people what to go instead of them scouting and using their heads.

Yes, hitting verticals easy was problematic last set. I dont think making it near impossible is a good solution. I managed to hit Pentakill once and saw another person hit True Damage once in about 100 games. You cant even think about it unless you get 2 spats before stage 5 and already with a strong board to go 9. This way everybody with spat are going either True Damage + legendaries or Jazz + legendaries. We saw how much more "flexible" this sets spat plays are compared to last one in Vegas Tournament.

Its very very consistent in double up. You can go for full vertical in 3/4 games ( if you stay alive long enough). When playing alone i hit 10 pentakill from time to time. Whenever i get an early spat i play for pentakill akali, sometimes you get another emblem in a carousel and when you dont, you just stick to 7. I like it how it is.

Got I hate 8-bit now… I’ve gotten 6 8-bit over a dozen times now but have never been able to get that high score prize. 3 times I’ve hit the high score on the very last round so I didn’t get the reward and every other time I can’t seem to get that high score even though most of them were 1st places

set 10 is so close to perfect. bag sizes make it so boring tho, the only critique i have. either it pans out as something good for the health of the game or its reverted and we wasted a month and ruined a first impression

You talk like 8 bits are that weak lol. It's easy af to go top 4 even with just a Corki headliner. And if you find a Caitlyn headliner at 8, then you even have a high chance of winning. If you further find a true damage emblem for Caitlyn? That's literally one of the strongest comp.

It feels so bad when you hit legendary high like this and then the last person ffs, really wish the game just registers it as a win but makes the game play the next fight out anyways

I don’t think he ff’ed because he was a coward. I think he is giving you the win since you hit the high score and wanted to make your day.

Honestly, highly dislike the inaccessibilty to the top tier traits due to being locked behind RNG. Might just not like the chosen system. But if future sets are intending to be the same with the idea that "only people who play a lot deserve to get prismatic traits," then i am likely done with tft. I was really happy with set 9 if only due to the fact that if you play 2 games a day you can still come out of it with a tuber.

My placements are more consistent this set compared to the last, but oh man this set sucks ass

Couldn't the guy that hit Ziggs 3 have used Champion Duplicators so there were still other Ziggs on the shop? As far as I understand, duplicators don't detract units from the shop. So if the guy used one or two duplicators, there would still be one or two ziggs left for purchase.
