I am genuinely feel like I am being gaslight when people say this. Like soo many of my friends says this set is bad but it feels AMAZING, it feels like old tft with new stuff. I am Emerald right now and I won with soo many comps, how is this Set bad??

That's honestly true. This is the first TFT set in a minute that actually feels normal, and it just feels weird to be playing TFT again. Like I feel that 5.5 was the last normal set. After that it was augments, dragons, heros, portals. Hasn't been any "normal" TFT. I enjoyed 6/6.5 a lot, and we can just not talk about dragons, but it feels odd to be playing TFT again, as weird as it sounds.

@BladedHakima so it depends on your game. Have a Carry in mind that you want to hold lux items. Rabidons/shojin/hand/etc. Than build a front line.. whether if it's bruiser/sentinel/guardian/super fan than if you have tanks items than pour those items to your tanks like crown 👑/titans/ over time save gold and push levels to 7. If you get edm/dazzle units along the way toward lvl7.. buy em but don't spend to much.. you want to push to 8

@BladedHakima Lux 3* is the goal setter but by lvl 8 you should focus on getting every edm lvl to 2...headliners early should be priority so you can win matches but the headliners you should should on by lvl 8 is edm/dazzler lux/edm/ bruiser zac/ edm ..zed also u can go for dazzler twisted fate if available

Yesterday I got a 3-star Kayn of my own with 10 Heartsteel, I LOVE SO MUCH this set it's crazy, it's so flexible and so fun, and the music is just amazing I love all tracks. THANK YOU MORT AND TFT TEAM

There's a mechanic where says that if half of the units were already out of the shop (for 5-cost, the number is 9), you can't get a Headliner of that certain unit.

I want to try this set, but as interesting as a lot of the units and traits seem, it feels like some of them need some help, like 6 bastion was a comp you could play and go first in the last set, max sentinel seems like a throw if you stay that instead of just cramming in all of the most powerful units you can fit, it just seems the nuance of team building can still bring you far, but not to a first place unless you get extremely lucky, which I like tft for the creativity, I don't think all of the units should be buffed, in fact I think a lot of them should be brought down while some traits are buffed on the mid-high range and nerfed on the low range, to incentivise dipping into them instead of just playing the more powerful unit, I think a mix of the two is more fun to me personally, just sharing my opinion I love the units and the aesthetics of the set a lot!

I think the biggest thing I realized to improve this set was to throw away everything I had learned from set 9/9.5 about the power of trait verticals, and prioritize splashing as many traits as I can this set. Rather than going 6 sentinel, I play 2 bruiser, 2 guardian, 2 sentinel, and as a result get to play much higher value units (5 costs and 4 costs) rather than trait bots. It's a shame that a lot of verticals are not viable in this set, but I'm trying to embrace the differences.

@@brodiebaxter99 yeah it sucks that simpler things like verticals are less valued but I think it’s super fun that this set is more unit focused. It forces players to try to understand how to position and optimize the use of their characters, and understand why they work well together. Hell sometimes. Plus there still is the reward for going after verticals with the broken 10 traits.

You just gotta change the way you think about traits this set. They made it more accessible to trying wacky crazy comps like the one mort had in this video. You can still vertical most the traits very easily and do well.

While some comps are more like suport, some are just shit, like Mosher for example not doing shit. Also they need to address the Fast 9 BS. There is literally no point in playing anything else because most of the 2* 5 cost shit on most comps, specially Sona Jhin and Lucian.
