Love seeing the videos man, fellow 6.7 guys so love watching content on them. Would love to see a pull with the new trans and some more sound clips and some races on the 17 6.7. Putting in an S370BB this winter
When is the next thing you’re giving anything for a 6.7 away? I am a brand new diesel owner and I have advocated for gas engines since I was old enough to drive. Now I own my very first diesel 6.7 power stroke all of a sudden I want to be a diesel mechanic lol. You guys are fun to watch. I learned so much from you and I really want to say thank you. So next time you do a giveaway for 6.7 power stroke I am crossing my fingers. I am not a mechanic, and this is the third time taking this turbo out and putting in a different one. I can almost do this in my sleep now. I have used some of your videos to help and I want to say thank you again have a great day. Happy new year Cory and the crew!
I had the same issue with mine and it ended up being my CCV reroute hose was kinked

Over pressure probably has to go to vent somewhere. That’s freaking wild.
Double check that your CCV reroute is not plugged the part they goes into cover also
Not sure if a tone has mentioned it but 6.4 and 6.7 powerstroke have positive crank case pressure so where will always be oil mist from the vent or oil fill

I had the same thing I bought new hoses and even air/water intercooler now I wish I had seen this video before my hose was kinked and that fixed it all! Thank you for your video!
I’m so glad i found this video. I was about to buy a new cac. Then i stumbled onto this video. Fixed my problem as well. Mine runs over the trans and out the passenger side. So i had a kink where it bent across the top. Fixed it, no more white smoke. Just weird it took almost 9000 miles before it started

I just post a short of my 02 7.3 smoking it was my CCV blocked after doing the mod. But I put that ish right back when I put my spoologic turbo and up-pipes s&b cold air intake
You are definitely going to develop some oil leaks with all of that pressure in the crank case

There's something 100% up with your CCV Internal Catch Can/Re Route.
Good luck, my friend. Had two power strokes, the 2012, exhaust cooler went bad, $10,000.00 repaired. And the 2013, dump truck spun its bearings, at 28,000 miles on motor. Ford wanted $ 25,000.00, to put a new generation 3, installed. Traded both. Do like the new 7.3, pickup. And love the new International CV, dump truck.
I had the same problem with my work truck..my problem was the ccv was clogged
My 2012 literate just started doing the same similar thing. I just installed the SPE internal catch can and ccv reroute. I need to check to see if I have the hose kinked now. Great video!

Catch can will always cause higher crank pressure because they all restrict venting the crank
Sounds like CCV valve plugged as in the hose or the because it has the SPE kit there should be pleanty of air coming out of that hose
Why would it also burn coolant as well to though ?
Same thing happened to me when I deleted my egr with the smoke. Took off the pass through plate under the block plate and it was fine. Weird.

Kc turbo channel have a video about this same thing. That ccv tube gotta be causing to much resistance gotta think the turbo pulls it out.
pcv valve stuck shut or partially open seems like, your pcv sounded like it was hissing versus normally pushing air

Hey so question mines a 2012 160k miles the cap doesn’t blow off when I first take it off but if I push it back in and don’t screw it flys off I can catch it mid air lol that bad?
I'm debating between getting a 6.7 powerstroke diesel or a 6.2 gasser. I'm trying to see if I could get one with 200,000 miles it's probably going to put me in it 16 or 17 is it too risky
Have you had the cover be kinked and also have oil running down both side of bell housing?
I was running an 80hp LBF tune and I found if I hammer it my truck smokes kinda grey any other tune it’s just black. No clue if I should worry or not 🤷♂️ I took the LBF tune off because I really don’t want to smoke black or grey. Right now I have a 80hp hiss that doesn’t smoke unless I’m in 5th going 50 and give it 3/4 throttle. Less smoke the less likely to get in trouble
Same I was out ov town working lol judge me but it was a 6.4 power stroke travel 20k on last year for work so...had to get the 6.7 to tow it back 😅
The turbo pulls crank case pressure out. Put it back the way it was.

I’d really like some input if anyone has two cents. I have a 2012 with 200k miles’s, I have a slew of injector codes. I get a CEL for cyl 3 or cyl 5 of contribution/balance they’re never on at the same time it’s either one or the other, I believe it’s causing a fuel knock???… I have white smoke coming out of the exhaust, are two injectors failing??
Where did the coolant go?
Kc turbos has a video on their KZread channel discussing this exact problem. If I recall correctly it’s bc of the ccv reroute and it being a bad idea. Every time they have this issue they hook the ccv back up properly and issue goes away completely.
Thanks for the video. I’m waiting for the SPE intercooler piping, CCV delete and disaster prevention kits to come in for my ‘11 6.7 so good to know if I run into the same issue.

@@2230user I looked the SPE kit and HSM upper intake. Both were on back order but Im supposed get SPE kit in the next few weeks.

The spe kit is not one of the good kits on the market. Try the s&s disaster prevention kit. More liked in the community and I run it. I don’t run much spe parts other than a hot side pipe. Spe kinda has a bad rep in the community

I got tired of waiting for my ccv reroute and Disaster kit so I went with Smeding Diesel. I’m happy with the result.
Looks like I have the same issue, but my oil level dropped. Makes me think I am burning oil. I don't have any oil leak at all. Any ideas of what my problem could be. I just downloaded Forscan to see if I can find any issues please help. Thanks in advance.
What’s the point of the CCV opposed to just clamping the hose on the valve cover fitting and letting the blow by hose blow to the ground another words just bypass the CCV??

love the trx, hate how a 100K+ truck sounds like it has a valve tick from factory lol.
Coolant hose collapsing when the truck is not running and is cooling off is normal. I would like to order this kit for my 2012 f350

Mine done the same thing then it started having major blow by out the ccv reroute couple months later. Well a year later I’m dropping a new engine in my truck with 202k miles on it
Why does that upper rad hose pancake ? Mine did that after I flushed coolant maybe cause it needed to be topped off not sure

Same thing happened to me, I filled the secondary reservoir tank and fixed the problem.
Check the pcv valve filter
Bad valve seal?
Tire size and make ?
That round blue oval would be the problem with them all since 2003. 7.3 pre-Def for life.
I have a 2016 6.7 powerstroke ,tuned and deleted, when I get on it every thing is fine but when I let off the throttle I get nothing but white smoke . Can you help me out … i also had a muffler flo pro muffler on and switched it out to 5” straight pipe , then started having issues

I took the cap off and it fixed the issue, which means ccv.
My 6.0 had the same problem!!!
I noticed you driving a Dodge Ram do you prefer Dodge Ram to Ford Powerstroke 6.7
My 2015 f-250 is doing the same thing with the white smoke but I don’t have a CCV. The turbo spools fine, truck gets good power, there’s no coolant in the oil, idk what the problem is! Any help would be greatly appreciated

Pluged DPF and EGR is full of gunk and soot they both need the full delete option

Mines the same way I have stock ccv and white smoke very small amount and it’s coming out of the exhaust

@@paytonteague2651I was told today that my dually needs the updated ccv box since the one it has is defective, sounds to me like a recall but they said it’s not

My truck was doin exactly same thing after I put upgraded cold side intercooler pipe started smoking like a freight train and was loosing coolant but there wasn’t any in oil and no leaks put some stop leak in it and coolant stopped disappearing and would only barely smoke shop told me was turbo goin bad mines 2012 f250 6.7
Positive Crankcase Pressure from the CCV Reroute caused the turbo seals to blow sir. CCV Reroute is a bad idea. Put the stock CCV box back on, problem solved.

Works fine u have to get install it properly
Put a spring in the ccv house so it doesn’t kink
The upper radiator hose sucking shut like that is completely normal condition. Fords have been doing that for years gas and diesel alike.
I check for kinks,twist,pinches,and stoppages everyday by using my guy in my pockets however may need realignment more times than often
ccv reroute and a new turbo is needed

It was the fact of having that long tube on there was just enough resistance.
Leave the stock CCV intact. Change/service within standard intervals.

I'm commenting before the video ends, but sometimes DEF diluting the fuel will force oil out the tailpipe. It looks exactly like a blown turbo seal.
Running it like that isn’t smart that’s a quick way to make every seal suck in and leak
PVC clogged
Had my cp4 let go on me and caused an injector to stick and it washed cylinder 5. My intercooler was blown, and truck was already lower on compression. New longblock and updated fuel system with my s467 turbo should be a hell of a lot better than 67mm on low compression and hurt fuel system.😂😂

I spent $20,000 tryin to fix this damn problem. Head gasket, studs, new turbo, Intercooler, nothing fixed it. Sold truck cuz of it at huggeeeee loss. Didn’t wanna screw next guy. It never got fixed though
