One thing I don't understand is if you are changing something for the better. Why would you Not replace the sensor too. I always use NEW sensors with NEW parts

Looks similar to the SPE that I just put in my truck. I was a little confused that the CAC sensor just sits in the adapter. It does quarter turn in but nothing holds it in place. I just used a couple ties to keep a little down pressure on it. It just feels cheap to me.

Any reason you went with HSM vs S&B? This is all new to me (first diesel). Already have the S&B cold air intake on our 22 6.7 powerstroke but looking to eliminate this vulnerable part due to how much remote travel we plan to do in our truck. Now that you have had this a while, would you go with HSM, or consider S&B or SPE? Thanks in advance.

Don’t buy the K&N cold charge pipe kit, it’s bs. They trying to save money by not making the little rubber elbow piece too short by 1/2” and the metal clamps are 1/2” too short as well. Fucking hell cmon K&N. I’ll give you $5 more dollars to not make this shit a struggle fest!!!

My gas about 30k on it now and is starting to leak oil at the connection point of the tube and valve
