Nice to have speed for sure , im more concerned with battery life . I had the orginal 403 system on my Jackson Coosa , & dont get me started on how weak the runtimes were . I guess I could've splurged for an extra battery , but the $ would be approaching Whoreby Kayks territory ! YIKES !

Hey Aliex, among most or all the kayak you've tried which is ur best preference?, I mean fishing in rough condition. Maybe you should do a vid on which kayak are best suit to which kinda of condition of fishing. Don't think anyone did that b4. have fun mate and thanks heaps.

well just remember this, if you get a bonafide and there is even just 5mph wind, you will regret spending over $1000. if the wind is over 10mph, forget even going on the water unless you're ok with anchoring everytime you move 20 yards... the boats have a ridiculous flaw where the stern will spin out when wind is hitting the back. you will paddle to your spot and then in 5 seconds you'll be racing 90 degrees to your right or left. it can't drift down a bank. and you pay $1000-$1500 for these things. if you get those dumb flex wings it's supposed to help but i doubt it's near as effective as a rudder would be. the fact that they haven't made a rudder for any of their boats is sad. they're so much more focused on promoting the kayaks and yakattack accessories to pimp them out like chad hoover does. they'd rather hire tons of promo staff than create what people actually need for decent fish-ability(rudder). if you don't have $3k to spend don't get one. even if you do have that much, don't get one when you can get much better boats these days for the money.

Man, its tough trying to pick one Kayak!

Really good speed but what is the cost? Torqeedo is already expensive. The torqeedo cost is hard to justify now that the cost of lithium batteries is coming down.

Just like a boat, you sit up front the bow dips down and you take off.

Run it over some gravel and let's see how well it holds up Lol.

Aliex I have no problem if motors is what some people want on there purchase, but to me Kayaking should be paddled or pedaled with human propulsion. Alot of folks are getting to lazy. Like everything else in life. Companies are making it more difficult and expensive than this sport should be. You better keep in shape and paddle or pedal as well,just in case your 5 miles out and motor or battery fails. I dont believe I would pay hundreds of dollars to 6.7 mph. With the same money you put down on this motor plus the yak itself. You can buy a used 14ft Aluminum deep hull boat with 15 to 25 hp pull start till motor.

I disagree Aliex. I wouldn't mind what they're doing if most of them would keep their lines for both category. However it seems like now days companies are making fishing kayaks bigger, heavier, wider and basically a btch to paddle. If you want to get a fishing kayak that is light (under 65lbs), easy to transport and has excellent tracking and paddling speed good luck. Mission impossible... (I know, I was in the market for one recently). I can number them on fingers of one hand which is sad. There are still enough of people that enjoy just paddling but prefer sot for possibility of rigging them for their needs. Today's market isn't focused at them anymore

@@slronhillhill6865 I agree. Hopefully theirs alot of us out there that still want paddle or pedal yaks and keep this sport simple. Paddle and Pedal are way too expensive as is and the motor thing will be extremely expensive to buy for each person in your family. Not for me. I want one I can buy straight up cash and put in the back of the truck myself. Instead of asking for a loan to cover a buying a yak with motor,batteries, trailer to haul, several hundred batteries, all the gear for it and probably when am done writing this the marketing team will have motors for yaks running on fuel for 3000 dollars more lol. I laugh then again its true.

Alex I trying to decide between the bixby j1, a minn Kota or a torqueedo on my vibe shearwater for fishing and obviously some playing around. If you’ve tried all these which one would you put on your yak, thanks
