6.5 pound edge to edge silicon carbide RF3 ceramic armor
This is a monolithic, silicon, carbide ballistic ceramic armor plate. Did well in testing, but monolithic ceramic plates need a strong crack arresting layer to hold the fractured together during multiple hits.
