Man, so glad you guys did this, with this bullet. Very cool. I always wonder about the older degisns. As well as the Remington Core Lok.

Hmm.. looks like an awesome choice for the more dense forested areas where as you said your shots would be inside 300 yards. Something like a late season black tail hunt here in Washington. I was mostly surprised that for a cup and core, there wasn’t any separation like I’ve seen in a game changer or ballistic tip or even a eld-x. Awesome video guys!

This is the best testing I’ve seen on KZread for this ammo . I would love to see Hornady precision hunter tested like this

Could the sako super hammerhead be in our future? Amazing how many hunters are bullet ignorant. Killed many MT bucks with powerpoint, hot cor, and corelokt thru the years.

Please try some similar cup and core bullet in 300 win mag. Wonder what 300 velocites will do to this tipe of a bullet?

Looks good. A cup and core that’s heavy for caliber and doing under 2500fps or so is always fine. Just wouldn’t run a 100gr 7mm at 3400fps or something lol. Even a 160gr accubond at 3000 loses a lot of weight

These were handloads, I managed to find a batch of them on gunbroker - couldn't find them in stock anywhere else may just be a supply shortage thing. Thanks for commenting!

I've killed alot of Elk with a 300 WSM 180 gr Power Point. Taking it to Africa 🌍 this August for a hunt.

I watched a buddy kill a pronghorn buck with a 140 Power Point from a 264 Win Mag at about 250 yards. We weren’t sure what the bullet looked like since it went through both lungs and out of the other side. Then again, what does it matter he had meat in the pot…🤠

My Father in law swears by anything marked Super X on the box. He's killed a ton of deer and a bunch of Black Bear with great results.

We'll take a look and see what bullet they use in that ammo, we haven't tested a lot of Federal stuff as it's been near impossible to find near us recently.
