Bill and Mike tell it the way it is. I bought an Excursion Big Dogg from Bill. I had to return it for electrical problems. It turned out to be a bad alternator, which was a new one with 5 k miles on it. It just went bad causing electrical issues.. He stands by his warranty 100 %. He puts his name on your truck with pride. Be careful where you take your 6.0 for repairs. Many diesel mechanics are on commission and just throw parts at your truck costing you thousands. I know, it happened to me. These guys are the real deal and will fix your problem correctly and stand by their work with no bull shit. Bill built his business by being brutally honest with people and standing by his work. I live in Michigan and the long drive is always worth it because I know I will be treated with respect and won't get screwed. How many repair shops put their name on vehicles they repaired ? Bill is the only one I know of.

Man I wish I had 16 thousand dollars. One day we will meet Bill for you to do my engine. Thanks to you I have taken your advice from many of your videos and I haven't blown a head gasket yet and I'm at 175.000 miles.

Don’t blame you at all for doing things how you do them. When I do a Headgasket job on a 6.0, there are certain things I make my customers do. The biggest thing is getting the injectors sent off to be gone through. They have the option of getting Ford injectors or the other alternative, but my process is much like yours: block is completely torn down and resealed, new main, rod, and cam bearings, the block is sent off to be cleaned and machined. All because there is no way I’m having come back due to a leak or questionable injectors.

I follow another KZread channel called "Precision Transmissions" (I think he is out of west Texas) kzread.infovideos and he is the same way with the transmissions he builds. He doesn't sell take-outs, he uninstalls and reinstalls on your vehicle.
