Dude, you are made to do this stuff. Really appreciate all the small details and explanations.
Thank you for all the great videos . Having watched all of them has given me the confidence to do my own work on my 06 .
Just got my set installed, my old ones looked just like the ones you pulled off. They fit perfect and cured that ridiculous whistle/lose of boost i had!
Another great informative video content! Thanks for all you do making your videos and look forward to seeing your next video’
Received my set the other day and can’t wait to tear my truck apart and install these beauties. Love what you’ve got going on over there keep it up! 👍🏼

Thank you for the videos! They help out alot!!
I just got these in today here in phoenix Az. See if i can get them on tmrw. Thank you for the fast shipping good sir
When I baught my 6.0 it made that noise but it was a pinhole in the exhuast. I didn't have the money to replace the manifold so I used some jb extreme high heat and then wrapped a titanium exhuast wrap around that whil it was hardening lol. Doesn't seem practical but it was cheap and worked haha 😂😂
You make it look so easy I’m going to get to it !!
I found your channel a month or so ago when I was trying to determine the noise you described in the video at the beginning. I ordered your up pipes today and will install them myself, which will save me $375 in labor. That savings alone will pay for the up pipes thanks to you!

Great job! Thanks for the info!
I had an up-pipe leak. Went with the BD up-pipes and manifolds. Never been better. I like the Odawg S3R because it simplifies the up-pipes going into the turbo and eliminates that EGR bullshit.

Great video. Placed my order.
I put these on my truck everything lined up great. I tried the eBay Chinese ones first they lasted 6 months, LLD up pipes are far better in every respect. I have a minute leak, but I believe that is due to pitting on the manifold sealing area. new BD manifolds should fix that.
You favor bill Hewitt! Accent a little, kinda the looks, and your knowledge! Keep it up always good videos!
I need to get a heat shield or tape. I had the local ford house do a delete and stud my heads, a few months later I put another turbo and injectors on it, this time I did it, I never seen a heat shield on it that I could remember and it’s an 03 Thanks for the advice , it’s been like this for at least a year now
I had the V clamp leak at the back of my turbo causing it to lose boost. I had replaced the lh up pipes back in 19 apparently after I swapped my turbo out or at some time it started leaking & then I had an Odawg S2R installed & the clamps got over torqued & it was the cause of my Exhaust leak under boost at 70 mph.
Thanks for the video
Hey dude…got a question. Found your channel while searching around for proper ways to build my 05 dually (new to me a year ago) that was supposedly “bulletproofed” lol (learning this is a common story) Love your content brother Going whole hog now after diagnosing a diesel in the degas bottle problem which ultimately led to a full rebuild (WDI block, KDD heads, etc) Anyway, I found the egr cooler is welded shut, which is fine I hope. Does your up pipe fit past the cooler if it’s left installed? Thanks man and keep up the great work

Make sure you cover that oil tube so that nothing is dropped into it. Also listen carefully on how to install the up-pipe. These can be a monster to get the clamps back on as the up-pipe does not fit into the turbo without some patients. I left my Turbo loose until I got the up-pipe to align and got the clamp on and snugged up. I also had to use a strap to pull the up-pipe into the turbo. Not the preferred method but it worked. If I had to do another I would do it in warm weather so that the flex portions on the up-pipe will flex. Just make sure you don't tighten anything until that up-pipe is in the turbo and the clamp is on correctly and snugged up. Just my added advice. Hope it helps you. O yea did I mention you have to have patients......
Order #1295 just purchased! Can’t wait to install the new y pipe when it arrives to my home
Please do a vid on how to fix the rpm gauge not reading right I’m having the same problem
Question ? Would you think the fact that you eliminated the EGR cooler to the up pipe connection contributed to the failure of the factory up pipe ? I’m in the process of replacing mine as well with a new one pice . I’m hearing allot of pros and cons to doing this mod.
Great video …..

I have the same noise In my 6.0 thought it was turbo so I swapped it out. It needed to be replaced anyway had substantial in and out play. But now after installing new turbo it has much louder and more frequent whistles/squeal. Look like an after market up pipe. Maybe it’s a leak at the V band clamp??
Did you brace the turbo at all since you removed the EGR connection in the middle of the pipe? That add some support in the stock config.
These would be so much better if the flange bolts are welded or studs from the top. And if the flanges were racked in place too.
Where did you get that light bar and holder? Looks like Milwaukee… forget everything else that is the most important thing good light.
LLD, order placed. Great videos! You're good at blending the right amount of necessary details but keeping the videos from becoming too long. Keep up the great work. Quick question, (got tired of looking through comments to see if already answered) would there be any problem reinstalling factory heat shield with your up pipes '06 model? Would it help keep heat from soaking other nearby components in your opinion? Thanks!

@@LeftLaneDiesels , sounds great. Been in contact with some of your supporters over at T&A Diesel, Marshall, MI too! They have had outstanding success with these up pipes!
Quick question is this compatible if my EGR is still intact and not deleted? Also does this remove having to replace what I see being sold as y pipe, up pipes and bellows? Anything else that needs to be replaced at the same time to make this more reliable? Does this part replace the need for both up pipes bellows and y pipe and anything else included in this system from a stock truck?
I can tell you with absolute certainty that every time you remove the egr cooler the lower flex pipe on the right up pipe will break soon after. Once you remove the cooler you take away the support and that pipe will vibrate like hell causing it to fail. Also looks like the up pipe connection at the turbo was leaking, judging by the soot on the bolt and clamp.
@LeftLaneDiesels
3 жыл бұрын
Yes generally by removing that support, they are more prone to failure. Good eye with the soot, that was a failure previously from someone else that installed the turbo. Check out my first video in “the daily” playlist.

What can I do to keep the support besides leaving the cooler
@larryreno8293
9 ай бұрын
@@mikeembasado668 I have seen some weld a cap or plug in the connection between the pipe and cooler, leaving the cooler in place. I’ve seen others weld a support on the up pipe at the point where the connection to the cooler is and bolting it to the engine giving it some support. I guess the theory is to support the pipe so the vibrations don’t get too bad, causing it to fail.
I noticed your ficm has large mounting holes but no rubber isolator bushings. Mine is the same. Is this normal? I'm thinking of making something to go in there to cut down on the vibration on the ficm. Because as we know heat, vibration and moisture are electronics 3 biggest enemy.
How are these different from the XDP or blessed performance up pipes? Or Is it the same design just better quality? My EGR is leaking so I want to just replace all my turbo piping/ manifoldsand buy once cry once
What are your thoughts on BD manifolds and will these work well with them?
I have a question for you? I got a valve cover leaking on my 60 and I need to replace the exhaust manifolds the bolts going to the up pipe are so heavily rested that they have to be cut out if I get in there with a cutting wheel will it catch on fire?
Dude.....is that wind?.......whoa...
My truck does the same thing and I have a new one coming and a new exhaust
Hey Question when your truck was having this problems it did get any power accelerating ?
I have a 2004 F350 Super Duty with the 6.0. Will your equipment work with my truck?
What egr cooler delete do you recommend?
Can you still put the heat shield back on with the new up pipes?
This is gonna be real easy, if I do it when I pull my motor!
Newbie question here. New up pipes deleted ? Im wanting to keep mine. Is that an option
Do the up pipes you sell on your website only work for a truck with the EGR deleted?
Are the 1 piece up pipes still for sale i see this video is 3 years old.. if so what are the differences from yours to Blessed Performance 1 piece up pipes?
I gotta get that up pipe fo sho
When will you ship the recent orders out?
what should the flange bolts be torqued to?
Threw that 3rd bolt in the back of turbo a way a long time ago
I dont see a connection for the EGR pipe on your pipe? I looked on your website to see if you have an option and found nothing. Also cant find email or phone # to ask the question on solution, removing the EGR is not an option in my state.
Could that up pipe leak cause a p0401 insufficient egr flow code?
Need some help before I make a decision here. The leak on my truck is coming from where the up pipe and the exhaust manifold bolt together on the driver side. Are the manifolds prone to failing at that spot or should I assume the up pipe could be bad? I guess there's also a possibility the connection is just bad, I will try to loosen it up and see if it settles in. I bought this truck a few years ago and have no information on it, so I'm not sure if they up pipes had been previously removed. I hate to ask truck advice on your KZread comment section, but you're obviously pretty knowledgeable about this.

I’ve had occasions where the manifold sealing surface flakes away, not allowing a proper seal. Usually seen in northern trucks. I’ve also seen some aftermarket up-pipes not be long enough on the drivers side creating a leak at the manifold
Is that the updated turbo oil drain
where do the egr hook up to on the one pipe

Question on these: are they internally smooth? I see that they aren't separated up through the collector to improve on flow/spool up. Just wondering if there is any egt/performance gains to be had, like some of the other sets out there, with comparable premiums.

Great questions. To correct you first, They are not divided because the turbo housing isn’t divided. The only time you run divided up-pipes is if the exhaust housing is divided. I do not have data on whether they lower egts or increase air volume, however in theory they should. My biggest selling point is RELIABILITY over stock and other options in the market.
