Still waiting on the blood hunter class to be included, but since Larian is moving on I'm not holding my breath. Same with the Shadow magic sorcerer subclass, the gunslinger fighter subclass, and the changeling race (cause I really want to screw with Orin by stealing her whole "I can be anybody before I kill you" schtick.)

@@deathbykonami5487Larian would need Critical Role's permission to use Blood Hunter. And while I am 100% sure they could get that easily, especially since Matt Mercer voices Minsc, I still imagine that they would put the official WotC class of Artificer in before Blood Hunter (not that they will be putting either in). (Same for Gunslinger fighter.)

I love it! I actually wished the Barb worked more differently in 5e, as almosy every single one of their abilities only work while raging. That makes sense for a berserker, but the entire class is that way :( I love smart barbarians though! I feel like people forget that a lot of barbarians are tribes and would actually have a good wisdom based on the basic description of it. Survival, animal handling, and perception are all likely things most would be good at, berserker is the actually the outlier

@@SeratiTheDood I get their point, but it's an understandable reaction to this kind of backlash. People who are passionate about a subject tent to rant about it. I both seen it and done it. Anyway thanks for the info.

I played an archaeaologist path of the beast yuan-ti barbarian. We played it as if her class and subclass were a malison mutation on top of pureblood yuan-ti stats. She had 16 intelligence, and a +11 to History checks, a magic shovel that acted as a warhammer and let her dig without harming anything she didn't want to harm (no accidentally destroying priceless artifacts here)... and was a bundle of confidence and anxiety issues. Also, that campaign we tended to have maybe one fight every 3 or 4 sessions... so being at 16 Strength and 14 Constitution wasn't terrible.

Oh, i once played something like that. It was a mage, who absolutely despised brute ways and hated everything non elegant, only liking magic, especially his own. He was cursed by a god, curse made every bit of his magic power go into his muscules and made it impossible to be used other ways. It was a homebrew class. Basically he had stats of a wizard, skillset of the barbarian and everything that uses STR for normal barbarian used INT for that one. And he raged constantly due to way he had to live right now. He looked like an old mens head was somehow glued to a pile of muscules so big - halberd was considered one handed axe in size comparison. He despised armor, and disliked common cloth, so he was wearing his ild robes. For pants. 3 at the same time. One to cover each leg and one to cover... well, his less... intelligent places. There literally were no clothes big enogh to cover his chest. Funniest shit - he literally had a legendary staff whitch he broke with his first swing, as his force alone was enogh to do it. At the end of the campaign he embraced what he is, learned to love what he has become and dont treat other ways of life poorly(cause he himself became laughing stock for all the mages in the world), only for curse to be reverted, whitch made him into his old punny self. He retired to his old tower and it is said he lives there in depression now, as he got used to strong and healthy body, and didnt wanted to live in the crubling old mess he was before. We met him as NPC in another campaign. God who cursed him took pity, and returned him almost all of his might without taking his magic. The effect worked as long as the mage maintained his new view on life. At that campaign, he was a major plot point, questgiver for the party in the second and 3rd act of the story, and in the end he was killed by BBEG, and avenged. Goodbie, Gainstraad the Mountain Mage, yore remembered and deeply missed. Oh, and before you ask - he was put into another campaign by DM with my permission, as he was deeply loved by players, and i was alowed to act as him in dialogues. Despite me voicing the character, his lines were written by DM, and i might say he captured spirit of character almost perfectly. Whitch is no surprise, considering first campaign took almoust a year.
