I was looking at Intimidators, but with all the add-ons the price tag went over $21K. Granted, the Intimidator is a beast as far as it's construction is concerned, but like you, I don't think I'd need anything that heavy-duty for what I'd use it for, and the frequency which I'd use it. I have plenty of uses for it around the farm property, and with some occasional trail riding... I think ya sold me, dude!

They had one right in front of mine on the showroom floor. There was a honda talon in each side. That zforce just kept stealing my eye. I'd never seen anything like it before. The lines were gorgeous! The LEDs were amazing looking. It literally looked like something from the future! Then I saw the price, and compared that to the Talon's and thought how could you justify all that extra money for the Talon. My buddy has a talon, and he joked with me saying to "try" and sit in it. I'm 6'4" and no way would I want to sit in that talon all day. Then I sat in the 950 and had no issues. Thanks for watching and commenting. I'll definitely be adding videos, my favorite will be my fall ride with my dad in October, it's so beautiful up there in early October, but I can wait, I'm ready for spring as we just got more snow yesterday! Take care

@@ironheadbiker The older Zforce models had a bit of an issue with leg room for taller riders but apparently the even that has been resolved. I have a CFMOTO dealer about 30 miles from me. I may consider one of these for my next machine. They do offer a lot of features for the price and the quality and reliability has improved a lot in the last few years. When you can buy a new machine for the same or less than a used one from another brand its hard to justify buying the used one.

These machines seem to have a lot of quality features that other brands don't offer for the dollar. The only thing I can find is the uforce 500 600 models ppl complain about the noise inside the cab, this may be because the engine seems to be closer to the passengers (in between them really) compared to say Polaris, which sits behind. Now to be fair, my ranger midsize is loud in the cab, almost obtrusive. I'd have to hear one of the uforces for myself. Looks like a really nice machine you got there. Enjoy.

I was looking at one sitting right next to my cfmoto uforce1000 the day I bought it. There were many features i liked on the mule. After sitting in it, and this is just my opinion, I didn't care for the flat bench seat. And the smaller tires and lower ground clearance, plus the extra price around 5k more, just made me go with the cfmoto. I did like the 3yr warranty and the ability to fold the bed down to carry more. I was also looking at going with a kubota rtv diesel, but the slow speed with the hydrostatic drive pushed me away from that, because when it came time to trail ride, nobody would want to go that slow.

  • @ironheadbiker

Hey Russell, thanks. The parts, accessories, and support has really picked up. They are gaining in popularity. There are several guys like the real talk motorsports guys in Mississippi and redneck garage (both on KZread) that have all really helped build the US brand, and show just how tough these machines are. I've had mine for a year now and no regrets or issues, except a few minor ones like the common ones, shifter linkage needed adjusting, and the stupid design on the hood, which I fixed with hood pins. The standard features are hard to beat. I think as with everything, prices have risen a bit. I'm not a big fan of the "always locked" rear diff. It's nice having the ability to lock the front in, but I wish the rear would be able to unlock. I feel in a utility vehicle, with weight in the rear bed, it could be asking for trouble down the road. But many on the Facebook uforce group, have over 10,000 miles on their machines. I still done use mine very often, but it's always there when I need it, so I consider it a great purchase for what I paid for it. It works, it rides, it is everything I wanted it for. Took it up to Ashland, Wisconsin last fall and rode for a week with rangers, can ams, and a kawasaki. Kept up with them all. They all had paid around $10k MORE for their machines. The price difference allowed me to buy a 16ft aluminum trailer and drill have money in my pocket.

It's another reason I went with cfmoto since they came with a nice "upgraded" tire/ rim package from the manufacturer. Same with the roof, front and rear receiver hitches, front winch, power steering, backup lights, ect. The list goes on and on and all for $5-$10k cheaper than a competitor that's evenly equipped.

I'll be checking things with my voltmeter and the extra plugs not being used that are already there. I'd never pay that crazy amount when I could at worst-case add a separate circuit myself pretty cheap. But yeah, I'm not too impressed with their website, they don't have a very good one. No pictures of the products yet for the most part. I see superatv has a universal kit for i think $125. Most sportier machines are like that, such as my buddy's Honda Talon, but I don't like it on an utility machine because if I'm hauling a load on pavement, it's extremely tough on the drive line and tires. On a positive note, it has the ability to have a slip front end or fully locked for serious off- roading, but just need to be very cautious on pavement.

Do you have an issue with the lower half tilting up off of the hood when you lock it in the "tilt open" mode? Mine would pivot on the single bolt that attaches it to the roll bar. I got it fixed by bending the mounting bracket so it couldn't pivot. They (super atv)answered me back by saying I could use an internal toothed lock washer. Yeah I paid $500 with tax delivered in 2 days for free. Very impressed. Guys on KZread really brag it up. One guy said he trailered it at 70mph and left it tilted up and said no damage or issues! The only gripe is I guess when it rains, water drips in on the top off the roof. I was thinking maybe a rubber flap along the top to create a flexible seal, but I'll worry about that after my 1st ride in the rain. My next purchase will probably be those aluminum half doors. I'm not a fan of those net screens for doors. As cfmoto grows in popularity, I'm sure the accessories will become more readily available. I'm also interested in turn signals, there's a lot of pre-wiring underneath, so they may be easy to add.

Cf moto measures there hp at the crank. So 79hp at the crank, the 1000 cforce has no leg room and feels like your leaning forward, not something you want to take on more then a 20 mile trip. Great for what it is witch is working.

I went by another KZread video on the hp rating. I will say I'm 6'5" 240lbs with 5 knee surgeries and have plenty of leg room. Still is nicely equipped for $12k. Thanks for watching and your feedback. The drivers seat adjusts. I'm still skeptical, but the price and warranty make it worth the risk. I swear I will do an honest review as time goes on, no punches will be held back.

Ah yes. Well couple reasons here. I love taking my dogs with, so there's that. Also I'm 6'4" and those 950s are a little cramped. I also haul wood, and my 12 storm doors. Tons of loads of brush, gravel, dirt. I was borderline in gerund m getting a diesel kubota rtv1140.m, but they're just too slow, but I like the utility side of them. Although I like trail riding, right now I'm probably 50/50 on recreation and work hour wise.

I see you did add a windshield to your vehicle which was not one of the option I think at the time you got yours. Hyperformance Glass just came out with a DOT approved Gorilla Glass windshield for the Uforce1000.for those looking for a more durable windshield and/or looking to make it street legal.

NW Montana was my favorite, but I drove a bunch in Oregon and Washington and Idaho as well.

I don't believe so. We only have railroad grade trails around here, so I guess my answer is I just don't know. But, unlike my 2011 ranger, when I let off it kinda slows down on it's own, my ranger down hill would kick into neutral

I know the free wheeling feel as my polaris had that I don't feel that in my uforce 1000, hope this helps. But yeah I know that "shift to neutral feeling going down hill. In trucking we call it a "Georgia overdrive" they refer to it in the song "6 days on the road, and I'm gonna make it home tonight"

They have come a long way but the speed is wayyy off. A dealer near me has th and I went For a test ride in one for fun and on GPS it showed 59mph and on the gauge it was showing 72.. that is ridiculous and is nowhere near the correct speed, if you race a ranger and one of these they are within 10 feet of each other. If this truely had 72 wheel horsepower and did 75mph it would beat a ranger by 10 lengths. They are decent for the price but not as fast as some videos show,

  • @ironheadbiker

    @ironheadbiker

    3 жыл бұрын

Yeah I will do a video on a flat with my GPS to verify what true actual is. I had mine hit 78 on the gauge, which I know is off, but when I had my GPS I only went to 50mph and found the gauge off by 5mph thru and up to 50. I think the big difference between these and rangers are that these don't have a Rev limiter. The only ranger I owned was a 2011 800 crew. It had a plastic restrictor in the air in take, (which i removed) and then the engine itself cut out at a set rpm. The only "race" i did so far was with my buddy's 2020 Northstar. His also cut out. The race wasn't very close, I think I'm quite a bit lighter machine wise, but his rev'd out and I was gone. I'm not much into racing them tho, and in this style machine I feel it's PLENTY fast. For me it was all about Standard accessories and price. I hope to get some good riding in today, I'll keep you posted on my findings if I can find a nice level area to open it up safely. Kinda

@@ironheadbiker right on. Enjoy. It’s nice to be out on the trails. I got sick of eating dust on big group rides so I bought a ranger northstar ultimate, I had it clutched and tuned by Gilomen so mine will do 70-75 now and gets to 65mph pretty fast. We ride a lot of dirt roads and county roads as I live in the country so I anted to be able To do 60mph comfortably without holding the throttle wide open all The time haha. Works great now. Stock max rpm was 6200. Now it’s 7800. Big difference.

Took my GPS with today. Their calibration is off throughout. At 20mph on odometer GPS is 18mph Odometer 30mph GPS 26mph It gets worse the faster it goes. The top speed (extremely windy, and running out of room, so maybe a little more left, but I don't wanna ruin a belt) The speedo showed 75mph The GPS read 64mph. This GPS is dead on. I've used it in many vehicles. I wonder if they calibrated it for different tires in Europe?? Not sure. It still is fast enough in a machine this style. The percentage it is off suggests a 30" tire would offset the reading. Or they used the same sensor as on their smaller machines like their atvs or smaller utvs with smaller tires? Probably so to save money.
