wow, since 1980s memories. I used these for everything, through 90s and 00's. Knew them well too. now everyone uses an arduino to flash an led!

This video is such a good explanation! Starting with the basics but at the end even giving solutions to problems which may arise in reality; like the fluctuations in the rails causing the 555 to get funky! All your videos are jsut great! I hope there are yet more to come!

you can also use a couple of 4148 diodes to make fully mark/space ratio adjustable with a trim/pot.
