Late 60's Dodge.... stepside... big block Mopar.... 6 speed manual gearbox as my shop truck with aged paint. It would be similar to the Cherrybomb one that was at Sema a few years ago that Stacy David did some of the work on. One of the coolest simple builds I've ever seen. One other I'd do is hotroding a 2 stroke Detroit Diesel and slamming it between the rails on a 75 Ford. I'd make a time attack and drift type truck from that. Wouldn't be high horsepower but a twin turbo fed supercharged Detroit, all wheel drive and selectable air locker setup, lowered with an additional angle kit, big brakes, hoon handle setup for drifting and a sexy paint job with aggressive wheel and tire combo would make another fun truck.

A contractor who had one of these eco boost engines, he had to get it fully rebuilt due to FOMOCO had the wrong sized injectors installed (injectors too big), the fuel was injected into the cylinders, however not all of it got burned & it leaked down into the crank case & turned the oil into a goo with the "odour of unleaded fuel". From what I understood when the engine was rebuilt, AMSOIL paid for the whole rebuild......

Should try E85 or straight ethanol, forced induction runs great with ethanol, we ran 100 octane race gas in our blown drag car and got 673 hp with max temps of around 210 at idle, when we switched to straight ethanol we had to change out lines to teflon coated and an alcohol carb, but we got 701 hp and max temps of around 190 at idle, detonation is so much easier to control with alcohol so we were able to swap pulleys and run 10 more psi of boost without the pinging we got from gasoline

It did not work! Your get shorter life with a lot of stress on the motor and the power is not so good. Its not good for towing.
