55 Chevy Gasser Back from the Corner it Was Parked In! Wheel Stand Time? 🤔

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Up next on the list of project cars sitting around the shop that need a new lease on life - the blue 55 Chevy gasser! I'm excited about this one 👀 Dad raced this car for a few years at various gasser events and then brought it to Drag Week for a couple years. There are epic wheel stand stories and pictures of it all over and it really was pretty impressive for what it was at the time. But like most other things, it got a little hurt on one of its last outings and then things got busy and other projects came up and the 55 got parked. But, it's going to get its time to shine once again. Join us on this first episode of the 55 chevy!

@@ronaldrey8474 Nothing says Dennis needs to compete in Alex's class. He could get in a class where he's both comfortable as well as proficient in. Perhaps Cleetus could run a Dad Prix next Father's Day weekend at the Freedom Factory. It be nice to see former racing dad's race in the Crown Vics. He could see if he could get Dennis Taylor, Dan Patrick, Brian Deegan, and a several others, just to name a few.

I love hearing the old stories. That said, I remember when Cordova was not a nice track. Gravel staging lanes, an entire row of trees at the end of the staging lanes you had to drive thru, return road on the spectator side of the track, and you got your timeslip at the bottom of the tower, track conditions were not "is it gonna spin", but "how much is it gonna spin"..... Then Scott Gardner bought it and really turned it around, before the IHRA gave him a Montreal Screw Job.
