I really like this channel. If you and Melissa didn't start this channel, you won't have the support of the viewers, so Mr. And Mrs Morgan, thank you! Love what is happening for you guys, now my wife Tess and I are both watching and we love watching it all happen. Congratulations to you and your family. God bless! Wish you were coming to Idaho, we would love to meet you all.
All of this is because of you Mike! You don’t give yourself enough credit. You built this channel. Your content, work ethic and most importantly your family. Keep up the great work!
I hope you at least replace the chain before you donate it! 😋 I had a 260 pro years ago and sold it when the 261 M tronic came out. The 261 got stolen with all my other saws so I bought another 261 M tronic. I always convert the 261 from .325 chain to 3/8 pitch chain, sprocket and bar so all my saws can take the same chain, sprocket, bar, files, etc. The 261 M tronic is a great trim saw and in a pinch can get you thru the bigger stuff. It's so lite and handy, yet powerful for its size, I almost never go in the woods without it, with the tractor or the gator. All of my saws are M tronic models now because they run and idle so smooth and they all start the same, which you know is different from a carburetor model.

@@canamrider7195 That's crazy talk... He's just adding to the story of the saw, nothing more.
Been a fan of your channel for well over a year, and I think this is probably my favorite vid that you've done, for a number of reasons. Yeah, I run a small Stihl saw...MS-251...and I love it. But mainly because you and Melissa really show a HUGE amount of heart by helping out Buckin' and the charity with the raffle for that power saw. By the way, give Hunter a high-five from me! My girlfriend has twin special needs girls, and it's a chore, to be sure. I tip my Tilley to you and yours for making Hunter comfy and happy....
I'm writing from NH to let you know that I love your videos (I've been binge watching them this evening.) I've encouraged my son and his son to watch them too. We have been working together for a few weeks and are considering the possibility of running a family business. That would include land clearing and using some of the tools that you feature in your videos. We must see how the Lord leads and surely want His guidance. Thank you for sharing your lives with all of your viewers. Melissa, your smile always lights up the screen!
Thoroughly enjoyed the video.... new saw, new chain, new bar.... was really surprised that you didn’t have to adjust the chain tension after the first log. I always have to. I have a suggestion for preventing bar oil overfill: I pour mine into one of those big laundry bottles with the push button dispenser. The one I use has a pour spout on it too. I just crack open the spout to vent it, aim the dispenser nozzle and push the button. The nozzle is small enough I can see how full the reservoir is and releasing the push button stops the flow without spilling a drop. I wish Stihl would take a hint from the soap folks and sell bar oil packaged this way.
Your family, your values, your life style is what america is about. Great job... ( Jim from Wyoming )
Hi Mike and Melissa, Love watching your videos! I'm 68 years young and still cut firewood. I call it my "THERAPY" and attribute it to my good health and happiness. For years I supplemented my income with cutting firewood. We still heat our home with a wood stove and the whole family loves it. I appreciate your videos and your lifestyle. My wife and I are raising our two grand daughters and are teaching them real life skills that will benefit them in the future. I had a 028 Stihl for over 20 years and probably cut well over 100 cords of wood with that saw. Still ran great when I sold it for $100 10 years ago. Using a Stihl Farm Boss with a 20" bar now and I will have until I die. Also have a smaller Stihl I use for limbing. After 40 plus years of bucking firewood I still love the total workout it gives you and the satisfaction of using a natural resource that is totally renewable. The Morgan's...... Good people doing great things 👍 Throw another log on the 🔥 Thanks Bob
Hi Mike You need to play up the saw your donating is Stihl's Professional Series MS 261. 2 years ago I hemmed and hawed over buying a Farm Boss series or the Pro Series. Then I went to my dealer and did the touchy feely test. That's what to convinced me at 60 years old, I'm buying the Pro Series MS 261-CM. Sorry, I went with micro processor control upgrade. I have run about 15 gallons of fuel through it, just wearing out bars and chains. I cleared acres on my NC Mtn property, cleared acres of palm trees here in FL, did 2 neighborhood hurricane clean ups. The saw is lightweight and powerful. It comes with the anti kick green chain, I upgraded mine to 20" bar and only use the yellow aggressive chains. I've had 2 other people upgrade there saws after using mine. The light weight powerful engine, easy start and it really really cuts with the yellow chain. I've cut many 24"+ trees with the biggest being a 37" Birch, so this light weight saw can do the job. After doing all that clearing, I was wondering if I should have put even a larger bar on it. But all my big trees are down. So if your still reading this, bid on this saw, just make sure you win the bid. Having Mike and Mellesia and Buckin' Billy Ray and the Boy's signature makes this saw priceless. Good luck this weekend.
If you include an autographed picture of you and Melissa holding the saw it will bring much more $$$!
You guys are great to help others the way you do. The Morgan family, Billy Ray, Ironsides, the whole bunch. Glad to be part of your family. Looking forward to Buckinstock videos. Enjoy and have a day.
Lucky man its amaxing how ur wife is by your side isnt scared to get her hands dirty there rare my man im happy for you guys

Its awesome how you saw and explained the story of the saw being given away. Its the ability to express that to us viewers that keep us coming back. Thanks to you and your family for letting us follow along. 😁
Easy to be supportive of you. You and your family are so positive and encouraging. Thanks for bringing a positive influence and perspective. I much prefer to see what you are up to than the negative stuff on TV.
I worked in the poly pipe business for about the last 30 years and used stihl chainsaws (farm boss) the whole time to cut everything. Many the time I cut pipes still full of water and I never used bar oil because I couldn't risk the oil contamination in the welding process making the pieces of pipe into whatever. There may be better saws available but Stihl never gave me a reason to go looking especially with the availability of parts where ever you go. The last saw I used were Stihl electric 240 volts chainsaws in a fabrication workshop. Can't remember the model number and Stihl have dis continued them now but they were a very powerful saw and light weight for what they did. Plug them in and no petrol, pull cords or bar oil to worry about. These saws over their life time probably did 30 to 50 thousand cuts each and we stretched a few chains and wore out bars from no oil. Even the quality of their chains was mind boggling with the abuse we threw at them. Always value for money because they kept on working with virtually zero down time. Great product.
Love the together time at the beginning! Lots of wood cutting. Thanks for donating the powersaw!
Love the channel and the opportunity to share in your lives. Thank you for going to all the trouble and effort that makes that possible. Sitting here in Charleston, SC waiting to see what this hurricane is going to do. Might get the chance to use my Stihl 271 farmboss. It is always ready to help any neighbors in need. Have a wonderful time in Buckinstock. Say “hey all” to Billy. Been enjoying his videos as well.
I’ve been watching your channel for a while. I may have missed it in a previous video, but this intro was the first time I have ever seen PDA between you two. This is not meant as criticism. I’m guessing your intention has always been to keep the focus on the show so we can enjoy the outdoor life as much as you do. It's just that I had never seen this on your program and it made me smile to see it. I also loved Melissa’s comment about loving the smell of fuel. Only a real country girl would say that and it makes her just a little more awesome. The hat looks great on you, but what doesn’t? It’s similar to the hat you wear on your KZread logo where you have a hat with red trim. Mike, you are a genuine, all-around, good person. Not a lot of people would take the time to point out how something so simple as a chain saw can touch so many lives in good way and you did a magnificent job breaking it down.
I bought a poulan a while back. It was a titanic struggle to start. I got 1 tank of fuel through it before the rope gave up and vacated the saw. Went and got a 251c. That is a smooth running beast of a saw! Stihl is the way to go.
The 261 is a Stihl factory hot-rod saw. Love mine!! Revs high, pulls hard, cuts fast. They did it right. Thank you for all that you do.
If there is time, maybe make up a provenance folder for the next owner. Chart it’s life so far and going forward. Only a few will understand. But those that follow the channel will lose their mind! Especially signed by you and Mellissa, Buckin’ Billy, and Ironhorse. Safe travels.
I love my MS261. It is a great saw. Light, powerful, efficient. Overall great. Much better than the MS291 that I used to have. The wife likes running it too. And it's a pro saw, so better built. Great choice, Mike!
Great video as always!! Giving a 261 for a draw at Buckinstock!! 261 after a few tanks of fuel comes to life. It is my goto in the bush. Have fun and very generous of the Morgan's !!
I got a 261 in June. It replaced my 024 that had locked up. I absolutely love my Ms 261. Sooo lightweight but still plenty of power. Got mine at our local rural king in Bedford Indiana.
I WATCH YOU MOSTLY EVERY DAY. I'M RETIRED AFTER 35 YEARS WITH UTC. NOW I PLAY MUSIC WITH A LOCAL FIDDLE CLUB AND LOVE IT. WE PLAY FOR OUR SENIOR PEOPEE IN HOMES, CHURCHES , FAIRS AND SPORTS CLUB OUTINGS WISH I WAS YOUNGER. I WOULD LOVE TO DO THAT YOUR DOING. LEANING EVERY DAY BY WATCHING YOU AND MELISSA HARD AT WORK . LOADING. SPLITTING AND STACKING. YOUR LIVING MY DREAM. LOVE YOU TWO. YOU WORK WELL TOGETHER.. SAY HI TO HUNTER. HANDSOME GUY. AND TO THE GIRLS TOO.
I have an MS260 - 2005 vintage still going strong. I used it as my main saw for years cutting 10-15 cords of firewood and some big oak and it never missed a beat. I moved up to larger and faster saws for most of my cutting, but the 260 still sits on the ATV to clear trails and is the go to saw for cleanup as it is so light and nimble. Perfect saw for a small time firewood and landowner.
Mike, your wife has amazing style and thrift. Also prefer her social choices. She chose the wrap her arms around an attractive spouse, while you were fiddling with a saw. Now, it was a very nice saw and the star of the video. But, remember Ladies first, especially if it is your First Lady. We can wait a few minutes to see the saw. Enough teasing. the video actually shows your reserve as Melissa mention elsewhere. I am truly glad you share your connection and the joy it brings you both.Melissa's exuberant joy shines through every video. i find it inspiring and healing. Pills are a pale second to a few Melissa minutes as antidepressants. Thank you all for sharing the beauty of your land and family with your viewers. God bless you..
Great outlook on the saw and its history ! I'm in Maine running my landscaping company and all I use is Stihl ! And yes I pronounce it steel like you ! Lol. Always heartwarming when people that can do give a little back. I do the same. Again great channel Mike & Melissa and so enjoy these videos in the evening ! Thank you :)
Great video. It's so great to see how you two interact with each other. Awesome.
Your family, all of you, just make me happy when I am watching your channel. Thank you!
Mike, you and Melissa should sign the saw and I reckon it will sell for more money. My wife was heading to town today and I said can you stop by the Stihl shop and get a spark plug for the MS311. When she came home she handed me the spark plug and said that there is something in the boot for you, I went over and to my surprise she had bought me a MSA160 C-B. After 30 years of marriage she is still full of surprises and I love her to bits.

@@flash1259 what a nice way to celebrate. It sounds like your a lucky man just like I am.
Great choice. The MS261 Is my go to saw. I use to have a 362, but now that I'm older, the power/weight of the 261 is perfect!
I enjoy so much watching you work..lol. It motivates me to start projects that I otherwise would have put off. Keep on keeping on!!!
Would be really neat if you and Buckin' Billy Ray could autograph the saw with a permanent marker.
Stihl saw live a long time. In 1976 I bought a new 031 stihl, it heated my house for 25 years, and fed my circular mill. I have never adjusted the carb. When I bought an 046 a few years ago I asked the mechanic to adjust the carb. He started and goosed it a few times and said I'm not touching it ether.
Hi Hunter, from Wisconsin! You have a wonderful family! I love what you all do for us on this channel. Congratulations on your 90K subs
Hi Mike and Melissa you guy's have made me an addict to your videos. I did own a stihl year's ago had nothing but headaches with it. Went and bought a husqvarna and never looked back. Keep the videos coming please.
Cool story Mike. Be nice to hear a follow up on it too. Hiya Hunter.
Love my 261C-M, it will be a great saw for whomever ends up with it! I’ve run it hard over the past year and a half or so. Summer cutting or winter cutting, never once had an issue. He/she will have a gem of a saw. Ice of you to “warm it up” for them, btw. Just too hard to resist, I know...😉😁
Here's a thought ...... How about you Hosting a Buckinstock , you seem to have the room for it , then some of us East coasters could make it to one LOL
Congratulations on reaching 90k subscribers.
I love the ‘chain’age lineage theory. Now none of this would have ever started had The Morgan not started this channel. So, in reality, you’ve positively “chain’aged” the world for thousands of people. Thank you Morgans, great work!
Don,t forget to autograph the bar cover Pretty property can,t wait to see the fall colors That SAW will have quite a family tree
The kiss at the beginning really made me smile with the look on Mike’s face. Great video and a great cause with the saw. I hope you guys have a fantastic time at Bucknstock. Give us some live feed’s please.
I can't wait to meet you guys at BuckinStock. On a side note that 261 is an evil little saw. I've got a 261 that has cut more trees and firewood than I care to admit. I run it with a 20" bar and it balances well. Quite a nice light and powerful package. Somebody is gonna get a bangin saw while supporting a great cause. Keep up the good work. See you in a couple days!
That is one fine looking saw. I have a 026. Love it. It is so light weight and it really rips for the size. I run a 20” bar on it with a full skip. Probably my favorite saw of all time. Never tried the new 261.
4:45 I love the smell of 2-stroke oil in the morning. Smells like... Victory!
Just found your channel and subscribed. You have a very attractive life there. Melissa looks and works like she is 25 (no disrespect intended/meant as a respectful compliment), the property, the toys & tools you have, etc. I know you have worked for it and it hasn't been easy, but I really appreciate what you have built for your life and appreciate you sharing it. Best to you and yours - pats for the pups.

Thanks! Appreciate that
Great hat Melissa, and once again fabulous smile!!
I had issues with making a mess with the bar oil also. I started transferring it into 32oz gear oil bottles. They are slimmer in design and have a cap with a little spout built in. I will usually have enough with one bottle for the job. Thanks again for the sharing of all the videos that you do.

Yea I need to do that
I use a repurposed honey or pancake syrup bottle for bar oil. Pull top makes filling oil a lot easier, no mess.

Keep on posting wonderful videos the Morgan Family 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😇😇😇😇👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The Blues tracks, slide blues, country blues with the harp... ya... instrumental stuff with the electric slide and organ ala early Peter Green & Danny Kirwan Fleetwood Mac era style.... all great stuff Mike and Melissa... You two folks should check out "Kiln House" an album of early Fleetwood Mac in that era with Danny & Peter.. [Pete was on the album but not in the credits]. Check out songs like Station Man and some of the instrumental stuff... you'd like it I bet :-)) 1969-70
That is a very Nice saw Getter Done With That One!!👍👊
90K subscribers! Good job Mike, Melissa, daughter Hannah, daughter Eva, our hero Hunter and Levi. Great family, great videos Might make the trip over to Union on Saturday to meet you guys
The MS261 is a great saw. I use it all the time. The weight is just right for using over long periods. Great video guy's. Keep up the great work.
You guys are so cute together. Nice to see a couple enjoy being together.
Another great video explaining all the people who will be helped by purchasing the saw and watching your videos.
Great heart❣️ Path becomes brighter with love and giving!! Looking forward to meet you and family soon!!
what an awesome cause for the raffle. and most don't even think about any story behind a piece of merchandise . We will be at the Paul Bunyan festival, hope to meet you there
Glad to see you can laugh and have fun making these videos! Keep up the good work. Also Mike I use an old 80w gear oil container for my bar oil, it works great and it has a cap so it doesn't spill accidentally. Might want check it out! Glad to see you giving back that just tells us about your character 👍
I have that saw and find that it can last a long time on one tank of fuel. I love that little saw.
Mike you and buckin Billy should autograph that saw. Say hi the Hunter
Hi Mike I have the MS 261 and really like it. I'm in my 70s, so I really appreciate the de-compression feature for starting (for us older guys). Also have the HT 131 pole saw, Yard Boss, and Kombi 131R. The last two with several attachments.. I do like Stihl products.
Nice job brother. All you guys do make us want to do better. Thanks.....
Hey Mike, Quick tip for the chain bar oil. Years ago I started using a 1 gallon gas can (low profile) with a narrow fill tube. It's an older style can with a vent cap on the backside of the can. NO MORE OVER FILLING OR SPILLS! As much as you cut wood you will never use the chain bar oil jug again when you discover the control you have with a small vented gas can for your chain bar oil. HAPPY BUCKING! Boh
You really enhanced the value of that saw by adding that perfume scent. Eau de Morgan Cherry!
use a empty soap dispenser, like from Tide, All, Etc, that dispenses with a push button.. Very controlled and clean. Red for gas and orange for oil.
Good morning Mike and Melissa, great video today as usual. You two had some fun making this video and we enjoyed it a lot too. Have a good time with Buckinstock. And the saw will hopefully continue to make stories. Thanks for sharing with us and keep up the good videos.
Nice job Morgans! Chainsaw for charity what a awsome thing to do. Wish i was going to buckin stock. Going to try and make a plan for next fall , hope it continues. Great perspective on the life of the saw . The way the world should work . Much better than watching the news.
Glad you saved some for the mill, Mike. Looks pretty sweet. Love the channel and the generosity!
Mike and Melissa, I see a lot of comments on your video that people tell what you should have done or said. So I guess I will add my two cents. Be you, do what you want the way you want. You are wonderful people doing amazing things. I know someone will really appreciate that saw especially now that it has been used by the Morgan’s. Stay true to yourselves and your beautiful family.

Mike you're wood sawing machine! You may want to put one of your Morgan's stickers on the MS261 since you're donating it. Have a good trip to Buckinstock.
That was deep Mike. Never looked at it that way. I'm glad I found your channel.
Mike, you could do something like this for a local charity of your choice. 90,000 subscribers. Just throwing it out there cause It would take a lot of work. Maybe at the same time as Woodstack 2019.
Wow, Mike, Melissa got you to blush! That was the best part of the video. Love seeing you guys have fun together.
Hello Mike and Melissa, good choice, I have this type of chainsaw for more than 3 years now and I never touch a screw on this saw.
Mike...How did you get an MS-261 that is not M-tronic? Whoever gets that is going to be thanking you when he can tune the saw himself. Filling the bar oil reservoir in a saw is so much easier and less messy if you get one of Melissa's Clorox 2 or similar laundry detergent bottles. (The smaller ones are easier to handle and pour but the larger ones don't require filling as often. You will never go through more than a quart of oil in most days anyway!) Wash it out real good, wash a little mix gas through it to get it real clean, let it dry out, and fill it with bar oil. The spout was designed to allow it to pour right in the opening and it never spills. And you can turn the Stihl bottle of oil upside down over the nozzle, let it sit for a couple of hours, and get every last drop that you paid for. Have a wonderful time at Buckingstock! BBRS is a character who probably knows more about the real world of chainsaws and falling than anyone else on YT.
Its always nice to see the two of you together.
that is pretty cool to think about. anyone who can give a 👎to this video is just miserable and jealous. i am honestly happy that your channel is doing great as i really enjoy watching and most of the time learning something( a lot actually ). so thanks so much for taking the time to share. yall HAVE A DAY👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Have me thinking of changing from my DeWalt to Stihl now. Sure your not a salesman in your workweek? Great video as normal, please keep them coming. Gotta go get dinner now - lucky man there Mr. Morgan.....
30 seconds into the video, Melissa you are so affectionate, Mike you are so lucky. Love your videos and Buckin Billy Ray also. Much thanks !
So am I the only one that let's the engine warm up a little before putting a load on it ? It seems that most people fire it up cold and right away goes to cutting. I do it this way for any engine letting the pistons expand. If the engine is cold.
I think your chicken wants its own channel.

Not really, just a starring role in every episode.
261 are very very good little saws. Very willing engines that just won't quit.
My fav saw is a McCullough 125 CP with a 48" bar. I don't use it much any more, but behind that, Stihl is my choice.
Mike& Melissa great life style, nice new saw, I have 2 old saws but great saws 029, 044 all I need, just bought stills combo sharpener much faster. Stay safe.
For the money, weight vs power, I don't think you can beat an MS 261. This past fall and winter I cut 3.5 cords and it never wore me down.
I actually have something to share. I’ve learned a lot from you and I’d like to share one thing we do. I learned from my wives family to use a syrup bottle for the chain oil. The top allows you to pour the oil with a lot less spillage. (I guess you can use any bottle that has a top like that). I actually then found out that the top fits right onto a store bought chain oil bottle. Any way. Thank you for sharing all that you do. By the way my girls still love seeing your videos, and are especially excited when Melissa is in them.
You guys will be a great feature at BuckinStock! So wish I was going but I have to perform a wedding here in Oregon. Have a blast!
The hen 🐔wanted some video time and was inspecting the Stihl chainsaw to do its own review.
Be safe in your travels. I look forward to your travel videos.
Schöner kann man nicht Arbeiten du hast alles was du brauchst für Feuerholz machen feine Sache.
i think you should be using a smaller saw for cutting most firewood. i use that model saw with 16" & 20" bars that are narrow kerf. the narrow kerf technology really makes the saw perform like a bigger displacement saw.
Right around 09:30 a really nice shot of the chips flying. Call me weird for noticing such things. Keep up the great work guys!
Hilarious start to this video, the chickens crack me up, And you and Melissa fooling around that was awesome to.Thanks for all the great KZread content 😂🇺🇸
Mike another good video and hope the saw raises a nice sum for the cause. When I was cutting wood I used a qt sized bottle with a tappered spout/cap which was easier than pouring from a gal. Have a save trip to MI this wknd. Big 👋 to Hunter from the old central WI teacher🤗
