Hi there! I understand about Hunter not traveling well. I used to watch my friends daughter she is Autistic and cannot speak. So I learned sign language and that helped some. But she was the same way when it come to having everything familiar around her. They moved away when she was 13 ( I babysat from the time she was 5). People don’t realize that it’s difficult even going to the store with her so She stayed with me so her Mom could go to a doctors appointment, grocery store ,or anything you do on a daily basis. I miss her hugs

I ain't critical about a lot of stuff on KZread, but in this case, I just gotta speak up. Mike and Melissa, love you and ALL your fam....you totally are killing here on the interweb!! My beef is with Wolfe Ridge....ALL they need to do is make the transition from the splitter to the conveyer more nearly....working!! I'm seeing way too many pieces of firewood end up off to the side, where Melissa, God bless her, has to pick them up and put them on the conveyer. Sheesh, mon!!! Isn't you, Mike, nor Melissa...just a bit of a design...flaw...with an obvious solution!! LOVE your content, y'all!!

Great video. My experience with cherry is that it burns hot but not much smoke. I would always pick hickory or oak over cherry. But cherry makes great furniture and is alot easier to work than hickory. Seasoned hickory is hard as a rock. I have seen sparks fly occasionally on seasoned hickory. I have made several cherry spoons. Works great even when seasoned. I am not an expert bowyer by any means but i work bow staves or rough them out while they are green. Then season. Great job again. Love all the videos.

When you first got those totes I was disappointed. I loved the way your firewood was stacked almost like a privacy fence. The more totes you get I'm coming around ;o) Those little woods stoves are readily available, I've seen them in tents at Cabelas. If they keep a tent warm they might run you out of the cabin! You need some big work lights and a loud generator so you can work till 10:00 pm every night splitting and sawing. No rest for the weary! lol

I must say, you guys are a bundle of energy! For a comparison on splitting times Mike, I towed the Brave, Iron & Oak wood splitter over to the pond area yesterday using my now almost new TARTER trailer mover for the 1st time towing anything with it, worked perfectly. I have approx. (4) cord, neatly stacked, beckoning me to split it up! My now almost new Black Diamond tables doing real well on the splitter. Took me (3 hrs.) to split a heavy 3/4 + cord of wood into a beehive pile, flinging each piece approx. 12 feet or so... (1) row done with (4) to go beginning in a couple hours from now... Excellent content here btw, I very much enjoy & appreciate the hard work that goes into your daily routines... Bill on the Hill... :~)
