As a fellow Fur parent I can't imagine how frightening it must be to watch your Buddy go thru his seizures. When my buddy is not well nothing in my world seems to matter until he is back on track. You are a wonderfull Mom and content provider for meeting his needs and then pulling yourself together and putting another great video out for us to enjoy. Tater is always in my prayers as are you your Hubby and of course sweet Ren. Hugs❤😊

I hope you and Tater are feeling better soon. This calendar actually seems pretty decent, teeth checking mirror aside, lol. That bronzy shimmery lip gloss looks like it could redeem just about any lip color you add it to, and the shimmery eye pencils are really pretty. I personally am a big purple fan, so the purple shimmer lip gloss would probably be my favorite item.

Huge same here, the thrill of the surprise is what makes it for me, besides her sparkly personality and honesty, she's so fun to watch

The peach paintpot makes sense to me actually as with it being an eyeshadow primer it can help cancel out bluish tones like veins or dark circles. I actually really like the mac paint pots for primer. It stops your eyelids from being oily and dries a bit tacky.

Yes! I use a neutral beige for my eyeshadow primer - so when I saw the peach shade I was thinking the same thing, it’s probably a great color for correcting the eyelid. *But otherwise, this calendar was also just soo meh. MAC could have and should have really done something MUCH more creative imo. They always do so many limited edition fun holiday items! I don’t get it. All these calendars seem full of leftover boring stuff. Why do they not include their actual fun seasonal holiday items?? 😐

I use the Soft Ochre color for my primer. I think you're correct about the peach being able to cancel out blue lid tones and since it's a Mac Paint Pot, definitely one of the best eye primers out there.

This advent calendar is definitely worth it. Nearly everything is full size and valued more than selling price.

You could be posting these in June and I’d press play immediately. So glad that Tater is doing better now, poor baby.

MAC was founded in Toronto, Canada and that's why many shades have French names. Some of them are as old as the company itself and have become a staple. 🖤

Other than the cheap throwaway mirror, this actually seems decent, especially for someone who really likes Mac products. I like that they included a pretty wide variety of lip shades, not just 10 slightly different shades of red like the "luxury" calendars like to do🙄😅

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if you uploaded these year round. That also means that taking care of your family is 100% priority and if you're uploading these into January then that's wonderful. We love you, take your time!

The paint pot goes on clean eyelids before you do your eyeshadow. It prevents the oils of your skin breaking down your eyeshadow, eyeliner, etc. Plus it makes it blendable, vibrant, and stays on longer! Plus it evens out the color of your eyelids!

You're a chaotic queen ETA: seriously though taking care of your pups is more important and I will happily watch you open advent calendars in February

I thought this was a really good calendar! A lot of full size lip products, and most of them very wearable shades. I'm glad you tried out the brown over pink trick some people have been suggesting, it worked so well 💕 Thank you for the video, I hope you are feeling better soon, and I hope Tater is too! Xx

I could live with you doing this series all year long. Lol. I love that we got an extended season last year so, if you want to go well into January or February, go for it! I'll be here for all of it. Praying Tater feels better soon and you as well.

I love this advent calendar because they actually add full size products more than the mini and the product is actually good

This calendar was great. As for the purple lips they look great on darker skin tones. Another young woman i watch (im horrible with names) compares different colours to see if they are "brown girl friendly" and warm purples always look so good ❤

I'd love to see Alexandria show us her favorite Lip clours. It is a rare occassion that one pops up that gets her excited. I can relate as Im always on the hunt for the perfect nude. When I find it i will truly buy a case as when I finally find the perfect shade it is always dicontiued.

I'd never spend this much on an advent calendar (have given up even getting cheap chocolate ones as all I do is forget to open it 😄) but this one seems far more worth it than most of the others. Everything except the mirror is a proper item and most seem a proper size too and the colours have a pretty wide appeal. One of the ones where it feels like the company put some thought and effort in.

I love how you smell every. darn. thing! You bring so much joy to people even when you may not feel like doing it and we appreciate it. Just know if you need to take care of your babies and yourself we can wait and will still be here.❤

We will be here for every video whenever you post, and I totally understand the cycle of disappointment when you WANT to do a thing but life gets in the way & then you feel guilty for feeling like you let people (us) down - but please rest assured that we will still be here. Side note: as someone who also got their world rocked with seizures this year & got my official diagnosis on wed, and my cat passed in between them, I feel for you soooooo much with your furbabies. Poor baby. I had a dog that had seizures and found out that he had Addison’s disease. He then took a pill once a day, and lived for 10 more years! I understand how hard it is to watch your dog in pain and having seizures! Thank goodness he has loving parents like you! We love our baby dogs❤

That purple lip glass looks super pretty. On my screen, it looks a little more pink than grape but maybe that’s just the camera settings and possibly my bf’s colorblind settings since I’m using his phone rn. Ngl I’m confused about what the new shades are, they all seem like regular shades that Mac has put in their advent calendars for years but I don’t have an extensive knowledge of their shades and the names. The only Mac lipstick I have is Bated Breath which I wore the other day and it was really pretty. But this video did make me think I should use my Mac X Lisa palette and highlighter tomorrow since I got them for my birthday like 2 years ago and today is my birthday lol. I’ve only used the palette a couple times and haven’t even used the highlighter since I realized it might be a little dark for my skin so I’ll probably have to mix it with something else I haven’t finished the unboxing section yet but so far, I don’t think this calendar would be worth it for me personally. It does seem better than the calendars of years past but I’d rather just buy a shade or two of the products I’m actually interested in (and save money in the end which is always fun) Love the Holes reference though, that movie was one of my favorites when I was younger, I would watch it anytime it came on lol
