What an awesome build. I love those '61-'62 bubble top chevy's and this one is a real boulevard terror! Everything is done with A1 professional craftsmanship.
Beautiful top to bottom. Actually Breath taking !

Most beautiful rear end i have ever seen!!
Had one in high school, not the bobble top and with a 283. Love the smooth ride and the motor didn't want to quit. Sold it right after graduation and got me an SS 69 camaro.
I love that car 62 year I was born in 62
This is an awesome car! Love the blue interior...goes great with that white exterior.
Don'r remember seeing a Bel-Aire 2dr hdt before. Great car.
Wow I'm really impressed! You did a great job with the vintage air conditioning! Why not! Yes why not! You can kick ass all day and still keep your cool 😂

But~~ I like the manual. Get the feel of shift points and enjoying the drive. Love the Bubble tops of the 62 Bel Air and Pontiac Ventura and Catalina..Beauties
old school here! I had 60 cars. First car I ever drove at 12 years old was a 1963 Chevy Impala. My friend had a 62 Chevy with a 409 dual quads, and he would smoke the tires down the street. it was fast. I like the Chevy frontend looks? And I remember the old Chevy impala commercials back in the 1960's. American History! Bad Ride!

I like the front grille on the '62. Looks better than the '63 or '64.
Good morning boys, sweet ride. I’m sitting on my couch watching your video, when you get on it for some reason my foot is trying to go through my concrete floor, Have a great day God bless and stay safe. Flawless car
Being a lifelong resident of Flint, Michigan I can appreciate a 62 Chevy, I had a 63 all original Impala Super Sport w 409/425 4 spd. Wish I still had it, lol. Going by the first 3 numbers of the phone it's a Grand Blanc, Michigan listing. I'm thinking about buying another Classic car, maybe you'll steer me in the right direction. Thanks for sharing.
Nice resto-mod classic look with great modern upgrades. Very nice car. Oh! Yea! I'm a Ford Galaxie guy (1963-1/2) but hard not to love them old Chevy's too. Take Care and God Bless.
Wow nice work
The original 409 cars came with one piece driveshaft's. This is a neat car.

I don't want to sound like a know it all but you're wrong, my friend, 1958 up to 1963 had two piece driveshafts, I've owned a few and replaced more u-joints than I can count.

Doubt that, with the x frame it wouldn't work.
Hats off to the man in charge !!!
Love the hood/push pins,cut-outs and the only true muscle car color...... White ! ( Bonus pts for the beautiful blue interior ) Wicked ride man, clean build all the way around & now...... go beat the ever-lovin' snot out of it ! ✌😎 Oh man.... thought it was a gear banger 😔 Still one hell of a sweet ride 😎
AWESOME
That is a very rare car! GM didn't make very many Bel Air bubble tops in 1962. From my understanding, the bubble top belairs in 1962 were built with the leftovers from the previous year. I have only seen one '62 bubble top bel air in person.

Well it's even more rare if you can find a original with a 540! Never mind the bubble top
Funny how tastes change over the years. When I was in high school I thought the 62' was ugly. Not anymore! And this one's a real work of art. Thanks for posting.
guys your car is absolute absolutely magnificent

Love that car. Bubbletops are rad, and that one, really does it for me. White with blue gut is sweet,
Beautiful car! Love it!!!
I like how this was four years ago but yet I read the video description associating with Flint with the water tragedy.. water and lead experts and car appraisal Jason there were two errors though you mentioned 61 but notated 62 and with the drive by about 340 in you called it impala to Bel air
Very bad-ass....those electric cutouts are a nice touch !
The '62's had such a nice profile.
Very nice!
For those lamenting the days when these cars were new, THESE modifications were not factory options and the car overall would have seemed noticeably cruder. I was born in '51 and lived through the '60s, and few then were actually fast. Many would lay down a good patch and seemed fast when riding in one with a valve-slappin,' gas-hog, 175 hp 4-bbl V8 bellowing and a skinny belted polyester tire squealing, but didn't have a high top end (although plenty fast enough to kill you; and don't get me started on the abysmal brakes or lack of safety features). But today they sure are cool and WAY FAST when they've had all THIS done to them! If you could buy something like this car then it would have to be an actual factory-backed NASCAR race car and cost about a million bucks.
I like how the steering wheel has been clocked for prop up driving.
There are two cars on my buckets list. This one and 1970 challenger RT.
Magnificent is about the only word that comes to mind. 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Nice! No flame billet steering wheel and 20" rims!
Had the same color interior in my first car ( 1962 Bel Air Sedan)
My very first car, inherited from my grandmother in 1970, was a white with red interior, bubble top, '62 BelAir (boy, could it get hot inside! like a greenhouse). But mine only had 235 cubic inches, backed by a two-speed slush-o-matic Powerglide. The body was excellent until my mother borrowed it to run to the store during a snowfall. That poor little tree made contact ever so gently between the right pair of headlights, never broke a bulb. Too poor at 16 to get her repaired, from then on it looked like Jason Momoa's eyebrow. Thanks mom.
I had a 62 Biscayne, 409 from the factory. Replaced the 409 with a 396 in 67. Duntov cam, Baldwin-Motion performance kit, hedman, ram air and more. It was a strong runner for it's day.

My type of thing really, can't say much more.
That's one mean ass ride!!!
Very cool. . .
Need to pick a more secluded spot for this.
I have almost the same car. Mine is an impala 4 speed car but i have the same hood, and it originally was the same color with the same color interior as that one.

I have the big sads about all the old metal gone forever. These, and all the old pretty receivers and amps of the Receiver Wars of the late 1970's. I'm certain we were invaded by aliens in 1980 and they took our great stereo tech.
Impressive
Nice!
The baddest 62 Bel Air around in Michigan I’m sure!
Beautiful car
All that work went to that car and they could fully paint the door jams.
Older posting noted in 2016. Just checking. Would the owner still have this car... and if so ...would this be considered for sale?
Beautiful car. Its a rocket.
Nice
Sweet!
Born for speed 🙏
Trutrac have any vibration problems?
My favorites were the Chevy impala SS 58, 61, 62
My 62 had a 327 V8 in it
Very nice 62
What a beast
Lucky man 😁👍
57 Chevy Bel Air still King! 69 Chevelle SS Queen! 66 or 67 GTO is a Prince.
NICE.
1969 I bought a 62 White Impala Convertible for $20.00. 283 powerglide missing reverse and broken trailing arm. I get sick thinking about the value's of any of my 1960's cars. Oh well.
Remind me of when I was a kid my mom had one but it wasn't power like that
My friend bought one brand new in 62 impala 409 4 speed took us for a ride it was fast
My first car@16
X frame be gone ! Lol 🔥😎
Bad ass car.
Is it a stock chassis?
Bough one new 327auto conv .was 3000$as I recall didn't handle well above 100 compared to Dad's Packard 55 caribbean
The Iron Lady...fab machine,what's in the boot?...Snakes...
This Ford guy likes.
I had a 62 bel air 283 3 on the tree. Great car. P.S. why did you say impala in middle of video don't know your cars? Lol Yeah u called it a bel air at the end of the video probably cause the owner had to correct you at some point lol Great Bel Air
Nice cir
I miss the sound of an octane guzzling four barrel opening up MUSIC

The fun was power shifting , anyone can sit there and step on the gas !
If this had a Shafiroff 509 it would be perfect.
Statistics say overall car sales are down. I think it's because car are no longer cool and exciting. New cars are engineered much better than older cars. They last longer and are more reliable but they are boring.
