    Hi Dave, please please pelase take a good look at some how-to videos on how to operate a chainsaw. The fact that you are not wearing cut-proof pants is one thing (which as many have pointed out is very dangerous) but the way you are holding the chainsaw at 6:30 is just... I don't even. Do not ever hold the break like this. It is meant to protect you in case of kick-back. If the saw is too short, then think different instead of risking your arms, face or life. Please and thank you.

    The channel is progressing very well. New faces, creative ideas. The channel does not only focus on the base camp but also the vicinity of Portugal, the Cork plant, the neighbours around the camp. I like it.

    That bench needs a fire pit! So good to see what you guys are doing to the land. Unfortunately there's a lot of abandoned land in Portugal and is a small dream of mine to do something similar with a small piece of land in my home country. Currently living in the UK makes my heart warm seeing what you're doing!     Perhaps source a sand bag to weigh down the rope / cable when carting objects around by tractor? It's a cheap safety measure that could prevent serious injuries should that cable snap under tension. Loved loved loved the girl power in this video. Amazing stuff guys 🇿🇦

    Continuously making bread for so many people without a larger electric mixer is hard work! Anything adequate will probably be 3-phase though.

    @@samuelsilva8364 @Mark Schattefor Yep it's definitely a workout. To put some numbers behind it. A low end prosumer mixer for ca 15kg of dough output comes with a 0.75 KW (1 HP) Motor. Try to produce that kind of power output in the fitness studio for 30min every morning :-)

    Please get a gopro that can be mounted on the dog. Dog cams are so cool and give an interesting view and lets us see the kamp in the perspective of a dog!

    I don't know how many trees you have like this old bark tree but you should slab the wood with a chainsaw attachment, can't remember what it's called but they use them quite a bit in the US.

    Hey guys @project kamp, how much water did you use for the bread? It was 2,5 kg of flower (80% wholemeal and 20% white), 2% salt = 50gr, but the amount of water wasn't mentioned. It looked like around 1,5 litres. Those breads look very good, we'd like to try the recipe. Yummy =)

    Beste mensen van Project Kamp, ik geniet altijd van jullie video's maar......ik kan het niet langer voor mij houden. Jullie zijn zulke aardige en met het leven in het algemeen zeer betrokken vrienden, bewust leven, een met de natuur en praten over gevaren tijdens het werk enz. Er over praten is toch wel heel iets anders als er echt kijk op hebben. Nou hier komt het dan, het wordt echt de hoogste tijd dat op zijn minst één van jullie, voor je eigen veiligheid, leren omgaan met een motorkettingzaag. Levensgevaarlijk zoals jullie daarmee omgaan. Voorbeeld; op 6.27 heb je je linkerhand om ( *&^%$$# doodzonde) de veiligheidsrem! Hiermee geef je zelf aan dat je geen idee hebt over de gevaren van een kettingzaag. Geloof me zo'n ding is levensgevaarlijk in de handen van een onbekwaam iemand. Bekwaam je daarin a.u.b. Nee niet fototjes kijken, niet KZread kijken maar een echte beginnerscursus en laat niemand anders dan getrainde mensen hiermee "spelen". Jullie hebben echt geen idee wat zo'n ding kan aanrichten op het menselijk lichaam. En daarbij moet je ook het schoeisel niet vergeten, jij staat op rubber laarsjes. Kan je net zo goed flip-flops aantrekken, die geven net zoveel bescherming. Ik hoop dat jullie het bovenstaande niet zien als bemoeizucht maar als een reactie van een echt bezorgde vriendelijke volger van jullie kanaal. Ik wens jullie alle goeds en een fantastische zomer. PS, ik heb de wonden van zo'n ding gezien, dat wens je niemand toe.

    Liking the utility spaces being created by repurposing the dead cork tree. Trusting that as you continue to clear the land, areas become more fire safe and walkable. Retreat places to meet/rest/exercise/eat.

    When will you make a solar cooker that will meet your needs? I made one out of a 36" TV box and used a dutch oven as the cooking blackbody, and I have always made excellent bread with it. I'm sure you would want something with more power and capacity though.

    Regarding your bread making efforts. Have you thought about building a proper field where you can grow and harvest wheat as well? Would probably be a cool project to make your own mill from the granite in the area!
