Pickup on 101, was about the 101 Freeway in California. I remember that one from my youth. I think the demographics of eBay buyers should be perfect for these press kits.

@@MajelCats The 101 is not an interstate, it is a state highway and my grammer is correct since the highway is a thing it should be called the 101 in a sentence.

You could do some of those press kits by actors, fans of Dustin Hoffman might want them for their collections

Some of those smaller comics would be good to list under Ash Can Lots as they are smaller run creator focused and would have a general grouping of fans especially if certain periods of indie comics.

Washington DC, a brief History: Washington the man, had a big impact on the location of the new Federal Capital, picking the actual site himself along the Potomac and Anacosta Rivers, but he did not pick the name it was to have. That was done later by a committee. After a long debate, the plan for the new Federal District was approved by congress in 1790 by the Residence Act. Washington’s idea was to have the district straddle the North and South, while also looking East and West. He selected the site on the river to have deep water access for ocean going ships of the day to have access to the Atlantic Ocean, while also using the river to extend travel westward along the Potomac as the new nation developed. Part of that expansion plan was to use the idea of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, but by the time the C & O Canal hit Cumberland, the Erie Canal and expanding Railroad network pretty much saw that concept superseded. The new home of the Federal Government was supposed to be a 10 Mile Square (100 square miles) hunk of land ceded by both Maryland and Virginia, but in the end it didn’t quite work out that way This is why the original layout has 3 sides at right angles and stops with an irregular 4 side at the Potomac River. It was supposed to straddle the river and be a square. It was named the District of Columbia honor explorer Christoper Columbus, but these days many of of the explorers exploits have come into question, but that’s how it came to get that moniker. Pierre Charles L’enfant was picked to design the capital city and the idea was to make it impressive for all the visiting ambassadors and any heads of state, but that was long time in the making. It ended up being laid out in a bunch of radial roads, which reminds me of Paris, which may have been what L'enfant was reaching for. Congress moved to the new capital in 1800 and its pretty much been downhill since then. The place got bigger and expanded as time passed and it’s now fairly impressive to see. I visited it myself back in the mid-90s and spend a Sunday walking around the Mall and visited some of the memorials, including the Vietnam Wall. Washington DC has many faults, but it is grand to view.

There are people out there that like weird stuff. So those press books might do really well. The covers look cool. And people who like weird and artsy things go for that type of stuff.

Speaking of being hat sellers, I've taken the leap recently and bought 600 used hats to jumpstart my eBay store. Average of $1.25 per hat some are better than others but the good brands will make up for the few cheaper or slightly dirty hats. this will help me get to my goal of 1,000 listings eventually and hats are extremely easy to list. Not many people would buy so much of one item but my store has always had variety and i've had luck selling hats, even ones you don't expect to sell quick! Also, you sold that $300 power ranger figure to the city next to me! how cool. good sale right there! great video as always you two, you make listing and packing go by much quicker!!

If you haven’t listed them, yet. It looked like you might have a number of Blaxpoitation films that would probably make a great lot for collectors. Basically, at a glance, there seemed to be a lot of drive-in movie titles. Again, individually might not sell for much, but grouping by genre would go a long way. I did look up the James Garner film, ‘They Only Kill Their Masters’. From Wiki- ‘Garner wrote in his memoirs that "I'd rather not talk about" the film.’

Just a heads up. I had a vintage Amos N Andy can’t box removed from eBay for violating the offensive material policy. The message stated “We recently updated our Offensive Materials Policy to prohibit items that portray negativity or stereotypes based on race or ethnicity. Some item(s) you listed related to Black Americana are now covered under that policy and are no longer allowed on eBay”.
