That Time Khadgar Went Into Draenor and Everything Blew up - Beyond the Dark Portal

Ойындар

The 2nd war of Warcraft is full of important events and characters that are referenced constantly in lore and in game, yet we never see the events unfold in game in any way, shape, or form. In this video we get the aftermath of the 2nd war as well as the origins as to how exactly outlands blew up and became what it is today. And just like last time we got Flying Buttress to put together this video using the Beyond the Dark Portal Book as a Reference.

Thanks for watching, folks. I'll have a chat with Hiru and see if he wants any more of these (because this one seems a bit more polarising than the last one!). But thanks to those of you that either said nice things or gave constructive criticism. It's much appreciated.

@@randymarshislorde If I knew why it's polarising; I'd make perfect content! lol. All I know is... this one seems to have had a few more negative responses than the last. I'd rather try and learn from that than just take the stance... "haters gonna hate". For example; can't change my voice (🥴) but I can talk a bit slower. And maybe I should get one of those wow blue mics. Hopefully the person who demanded I get one pays for it though because their like £200.

@@FlyingButtress Well that's a completely reasonable approach to be honest. I think the audio sounds perfectly fine personally. But I'm only just now at the point where Turalyon is debating the efficacy of helping the leader of the Gnomes down from a table after hearing about the "rat menace", so if I come across anything that stands out in a negative way, I'll do my best to make note of it.

I absolutely love it. Only one i dislike is Shadows Rising. Best ones are Dawn of the Aspects and The Last Guardian for me. With this i have only two criticisms - u use less of ur great humor :( and it feels rushed in few moments (it is/feels also more static that Dawn of the Aspects for example or others like Rise of the Horde - also u use less wide shots which are great for immersion, has less pronounced and lower amount of different artsy/beautiful backgrounds that change with characters&story), but it is still so great! All ur vids except for Shadows Rising (I just don't like the book, the story etc - noone can make new WoW lore appealing to me after freaking kung fu panda...) are the best WoW content ever! Absolutely love it!!! Thanks :)

I hope with Metzen leading the team we get a return to the old days - now that Microsoft own Blizzard, we might see less of the Activision shit (I hope). WoW has been in a really bad state BFA - Shadowlands. Luckily Dragonflight seems to be a push in the right direction and the Classic WoW team are doing a great job with things like Hardcore and Season of Discovery. Personally I’m hoping Season of Discovery leads to Classic+ and we get new areas, stories, lore that leads in a new direction that stays true to classic. We can have the retail timeline and the discovery timeline running side by side with one and other, but discovery can retain its classic RPG play-style.

I just finished watching your first video a few days ago and now part 2 is out. These are absolutely fantastic. I'm learning so much from them. Played WoW since 2005 but never really bothered to read into the lore, and WoW is kinda bad at getting the lore across unless you take the time to read those randomly placed books around the place, which is difficult because of the hard-to-read font they chose to write them in.
