the last part of the combo for some reason doesn't work for me. he ends up doing the elbow drop. do you call him as soon as you finish BF1?

Yep.. it's a bit of a timing thing.. Just practice it you'll get it.. if he doing the elbow drop ur doing it too late.. if u do it to early u won't get your freeze.. there's a sweet spot

Yeah. You can do Scorpion x Scorpion for example. No rule against it. Just isn’t optimal.

@@PaeRod Yeah. You can do all of them. Remember, Mk1 introduced this multiverse bs, so theres no reason You can’t pair two of the same characters together. It works for every character. Again, it’s just not optimal. There are better options.

Using the sand clock 3 times (or once with meter) allows you to do a full screen timestop if you do the input again. Also a couple of other moves contribute to the clocks meter filling too.

@shaker99 not really. Think of it as a move you gain access to once you meet the requirements. You just have to do the input 3 times (or once with spending meter), then you can use it. But after you use it, you have to get the hourglasses again.

@shaker99 just hop into training mode as geras then use the hourglass move 3 times (I think it's down, back, 3). You'll get the picture once you try it.

It's usually common courtesy to not switch characters after you win, to let your opponent get the runback.

Honestly I haven't played mk1 but I did play mk11 and just from watching mk11 looks much more fun to play but mk1 much more balanced

​@@justajew298MK 1 is a lot more fun. I may not have next-gen yet but MK 1 proves to be a lot more enjoyable with more ways to open up opponents and see different ways kameos can work with different fighters. At least no more wake-up.fatal blows or depending on krushing blows. Although you can zone a lot in this game at least it's not too strong like it was in 11. There was some good ideas in 11 but failed to execute properly. In 1 it looks more fun and trying doing different things.
