I have the Polaris 707 PaceLite type. I need help. I have your ARC 200 controller. I need to know how I can get it to 50mph. I have two 30ah 60 volt batteries. One in a bag on the rear carry rack and one E-Bike frame battery on the front of the steering tube. I don't know what motor or what sprockets to use or even how to get them. But I am willing to do whatever to make 50mph happen.

I had as a was like a kid also a scooter with tires and suspension. As my 1:5 onroad RC car was unreliable(tires impossible to get, broken/leaking diffs, special bearings around the drivetrain got worn out...), except for the 32cc 2 stroke engine with sport exhaust and around 12k rpm max, i also built this on it- but i was already happy with around 2 kw at regular mix, maybe 3 kw and much rpm more with a lean mix and a max speed of around 40 km/h. But you triggered me to watch some auctions on fast E-bikes with damaged/missing batteries, drivetrains or whatever bring me to a cheap motor and ESC, i will upgrade my old scooter, full of spider web since its in any corner since years.

Hello, I have a Polaris scooter like in your video. So-far I have an ARC200, an Alien 80100 6kw 130kv motor, and a 52 volt 20ah battery pack. I'm wanting to get it to a 45mph....(or better) scooter. I have just started the project. I put a heat sinc with two 2" 12 volt fans to be powered by a 60 to 12 volt converter. Hoping this keeps the controller cool. I may have to move the rear shock mounts back and also the 80mm motor to make room for suspension travel....don't know about that part yet. I'm wondering if you could help me with pulleys and belt sizes to achieve this? I think you guys are the perfect ones to contact for help being that you already specialize in modifying the scooter I have. Can you help me out? I can ship it to you if necessary. Actually I would prefer to do that if you're interested. I can make a road trip to being it to you if you're within a reasonable drive distance.

between ESCs are big differences I have already seen cheap scooters, with not that bad performance, but a very small ESC and bad cooled. It wont last long. its always a good advice to choose an overpowered ESC, since it will last "forever" if you dont set wrong parameters for timing and so on. But for a scooter you will always prefer smoothness over agressive timings for some rpm or a little bit more torque, so it should never happen that you stress your ESC too much with a scooter, except for long usage and permanent half throttle. brushless ESCs love 2 states: 100% throttle, or 0% to a very little amount of throttle(like 10 or 20%). permanent 50%-80% is the worst thing for it, or at least the most stressful for the ESC itself

first of all, you dont need a 8 kw brushless motor.... i got only a 2,x kw 2 stroke engine on my scooter (DIY, what else) from an older 1:5 RC car with some parts from an older bike, this project cost me close to nothing, since i had all parts except small, very cheap things. without altitude increase, it could go around 40 km/h, with a lean mix close to 50. acceleration was also ok as the engine came closer to resonance with the exhaust As you may know, with a brushless motor, you got all the way more power also with low rpms. 3kw+ should be enough for a scooter, but yeah, i bet 8 kw are funny :) you could even run a scooter nice with a Mamba Monster 550 sized engine (like in E-Maxx brushless, its really a monster, especially for a 1:8 rc monster truck), all you would need is some sort of extra air cooling(for long distance and much torque) and maybe avoid starting from zero (hard work for ESC). Biggest problem at all would be, you cant brake with ESC and get energy back into the batteries with this RC ESCs, breaking means energy will be wasted by ESC (and heat it up). ESCs with retrievel are more expensive i think, but correct made, i think they are also longer lasting (damn i broke 3 ESCs in my first rc bl racing car, since i used aggressive settings for peak performance, later 3S instead of 2S batteries but normal timings, better performance, less stress for ESC) I also though about using this monster RC brushless for it, but i love this car so much, i passed already cars, driving 70 km/h+, on a parallel (car-free!) road with 110-115 km/h, you cant imagine the faces of some drivers/passengers, seeing such a fast (not for road made....) RC car passing them, while nobody know where i am since i use a gopro connected to FPV-transmitter and a screen with internal receiver cheap from china ( i cant afford FPV googles, and i also dont like them at all) Not to mention backflips from standing still or high jumps :)

So obviously this makes your scooter REALLY fast. What about range? Being able to go 50mph for all of 100 yards is.. well... Less than useful. Unless you are doing Scooter drag races, of course. I'd like to improve my son's E300 and maybe give it a small speed boost but give it a BIG range boost. Do you have special settings for that, or do you need different kit?

Super cool! Making e-scooters that cost as much as actual motorcycles! Talk about panty droppers! Why didn't I think of that!

These things probably only cost like $500-$1000 to make... That's a pretty cheap motorcycle, just saying.
