    well, 2 stroke bikes have twice the power of a four stroke bike with the same displacement, or even more that's the reason 2 stroke bikes will always be popular for offroad bikes/motocross and mopeds mopeds particularily since no matter what you do, a 4 stroke scooter will never beat a 2 stroke one that is just moderately tuned

  • @chrissssirhc1521

    @chrissssirhc1521

    Its not actually 100cc, I don't know why they call it in US 100cc, here in europe its 82cc (51mm) and 72cc (47mm) Anyway, if you get that "100cc" kit, and take care of it, break in first its gonna last long, But problem will be your crankshaft. From my experience. I changed everything to get more power, even CVT, but left crankshaft stock. After about 1900 km (~1180mi) bearings on crankshaft just died, so If you put on big bore kit, then try to find some better crankshaft, or go to some motorcycle shop and ask them to press on crankshaft some quality bearings. I didn't do that because i was too lazy to take all engine apart again, and put money in it knowing something is gonna happen again, so i just replaced that engine with new 150cc GY6. More HP, More top speed, lives longer (if it is kept stock)

    they call it 88cc and 90cc, Naraku and Zoot calls it 90cc with a 52,4 piston... it works like a dream.. i have just put mine on,plus better electric stuff, and iridium spark plug.. i put a 18mm naraku carb,with low jet size, but still it goes like a rocket past the first 50mph,and if you sit a bit further back on it the scoot will go on 1 wheel.... I dont care for the 130mph 2 stroke,any can tune such a scoot, its harder with a 4 stroke. I will personally just tune in untill i reach 100kmh ,thats more than enought for me.. But first run, it went like a rocket, only 6,5grams rollers, but still... so people can say what they want, it is and was fun, also my m8 that is a big 2stroke fan, and all of his mopeds gets stolen..nobody steals Baotian and Giantco ;-)

    Nice video. Maybe too late to mention now but turning 9,200 rpm with a 50mm bbk (80cc) is just asking for crankshaft failure. These cranks were not designed to have that much weight going up and down. In the forum I am on...many folks have learned this the hard way. Unless, maybe you used one of the aluminum piston kits which actually weigh less than the stock piston? Scoot sounds good though.

  • @OverlandOne

    The downside is a big strain on your crankshaft and crank bearings....especially turning 9,200 rpms like he said he did in this video. A lot of folks have a lot of problems with this when using the 50mm BBK (which is 80 cc like the one in his video) 72cc (47mm) is about the largest you should go unless you are replacing the crankshaft and the bearings too.

    Yeah I did something like that to one of mine. Just open up your exhaust to let some of the pressure out. It's going to get a bit louder. Look at the burnout video. Cut a inch or so off the back of your exhaust and shine a light in it and you will see a honey cone open up that honey cone and it should run better.

    Yes you can get cheap amazon kits from $35 to $100 for knock off brands... They will work even.. If you are lucky!!!! The knock off parts have shity quality control so you get defective parts oil leaks blow a spark plug crack blocks etc.. And it is easier than you may think to put it on but only if you have the tools and some understanding of motors no backround needed just understanding
