Leicester fan here, thought you'd got it after that Welbeck goal too I was gutted. Still think it's funny Spurs came third that year, to be honest they should have won the title I think.

For some reasons they have to thank Eden Hazard's brilliant goal against Spurs. Greatest story ever told Leicester City.

The Hazard goal was the actual moment Leicester won the Prem. At that point we were going to win it anyway, just when ? Remained. Ten points clear at the end. Even now its still unbelievable that it actually happened to the team I've supported since I became a football fan at 6 years old.

Leicester city fought a battle. It was a battle between Leicester city against the premier league. A battle between little and big between good and evil between the Establishment and the hungry.

Ranieri got so shafted after this, my god. If you win the league with a team with Leicester's expectations at the beginning of that year, even if people think it isn't because of you, you should be absolutely guaranteed another couple of seasons in the job, regardless of results. It's like if West Ham or even Norwich won this year and then the manager was sacked less than a year later.

Other teams found out Ranieri's tactics. He couldn't repeat the success. Adapt or die is the moral of the story. It was sad but he had to go. Look at Fulham. Didn't save the club despite using same tactics as at Leicester.
