Yesterday we traveled to trichy from Bangalore. It was 2.30 PM and time for lunch. I had watched quite a few positive reviews about Hotel Gurukrupa at Srirangam and decided to have a try. As we entered the hotel there were hundreds or houseflies around the wash basin and the discarded banana leaves in the dustbin and in the bucket used to clean the tables. Braving that we took our seats and ordered two meals. All we got was some.potato palya, a kootu without any vegetables, cold sambar and rasam. We were quite disappointed. I request the hotel owner to please maintain hygiene and food quality.

We went there. We had rava dosa, ghee rost, butter non, paneer butter masala, poori, adi avail, idiyappam, kasari, vada, masala rost. Really delicious. If we again went to srirangam we would go there again.

Watching this video, can suggest that they can improve hygiene. Cooks are almost dipping their hands into sambar, dosa flour etc. Could come up with better ways for a 500 years old home turned hotel.

There are some foods need to be in home like taste. This product is one among them. Tiffin items panni enaku therinju 3 months agudhu. Explain panninga na Naanum therinjipan. Ignore negativity

sir, perhaps your experience was not good on a particular day, but out of my 3 months stay..i ate many times here and food was good and didnt cause any health issues....and about running to raghavendra mutt for food, well, its his choice! many of the madhwas do have food in the mutt or in a restaurant..does it mean they cook horrible food at home?!! with due respects, you don't have to vent out personal grudges in a lot of comments..
