In NCERT we read about the "good" things Mughals did. Which is a big fat lie. I don't know why NCERT doesn't teach us about The great Maharana Pratap, who sacrificed his life for independence, and the great Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. I usually discuss the facts I learn from RAAZ with my history teacher and he says that the facts are true but we all are forced to read the lie that Muslim historians wrote. I hope one day they'll make a change in the textbooks, and let the other generation know the truth. It's painful when I hear that students know whose son was Akbar and whose father was Babur, but they don't know anything about the real great warriors and kings of the history.

It's okay, our syllabus only cover the basic points, if you are truly interested, gotta learn a few things by yourself. Akbar won decisively,even Portuguese ambassador's historians reported that Pratap ran away from the Battle of Haldighati when he saw his army getting destroyed. He was injured and barely managed to flee. Meanwhile after the battle,Akbar commissioned more campaigns to conquer mewar once Pratap ran away😂this is coming from even non-indians. Where akbar was so afraid of Maharana Pratap that he refused to fought the battle. With only 20,000 Mewari he was capable enough to kill that Man Singh. And if u talk about his running, then brother it was needed as he was one of the last hope for all the BHARATIYA, Indian women and children for their safety as all the invaders(afghani eg akbar) were filled with lust of women. So, Maharana Pratap never lost any battle and akbar never fought. For Indians Maharana was, is and will always the winner bcz he fought for your and my motherland.

Funnily history call them great who brought nothing but destruction. For example Alexander the great, Ashoka the Great, the great Timur, Napoleon the great and Genghis Khan. Rulers who ruled to preserve cultural heritage and peacefully were never accounted as great. They were called calm, weak or peace loving.

And name Jodha Bai is given a English Fool because he thought she is related to royal family of jodhpur. I really love how you cherry pick bites of real facts and manipulated it and serve it in such a way that completely support your agenda. This I call a perfect recipe for propaganda. In my opinion no emperor or politician in the entire could be entitled to be great as serving the common people is their job to do rather than favor. So according to that logic of yours british rule on India their brutality and discrimination against Indians(including muslims ) or Israel's ongoing attacks on palestine and genocide also happening there is justified because according to that logic of yours because they were successful and did good for their own people. Akbar and other mughal rulers were not great because they were too discriminating and brutal towards every non muslims and did deeds which can be called Sins. Conquering the lands and fighting battles was a part of any Rulers reign but what Mughals did was far from what we would or should call good deeds or greatness. Mughals killed non muslims, raped womens, killed childrens, their brutality was worse than any sins committed ever. They did not respect others religions and tried to discard it but when they couldn't they destroyed mandirs, burnt ancient scriptures, and library as we saw with Nalanda University. It is insane how people justify those brutality done by Mughals by saying it was a part of ruling a kingdom. it could be said that AKBAR WAS DEFINITELY A SUCCESSFUL RULER BUT TO SAY THAT HE WAS GREAT THAT'S A COMPLETE BULLSHIT. People who called him great were his own people who believed his ideologies and found pleasure in other misery.

Read all of Akbar's atrocities done in a single war in Fatehnama-i-Chittor. This is a text written. By Akbar's own historian Abul Fazl. Plus Bayaduni another historian from Akbar's court also writes about Akbar forcing a nobleman to divorce his wife so Akabr could marry her because she was beautiful. Akbar did end up marrying the beautiful wife of Abdul Wasi. So Akbar didn't spare even married muslim women.

People have to understand one thing, it's not about religion, almost all great conquerors, be it Alexander, Genghis Khan, Ashoka or Akbar, they all have a history of brutality. It's not just exclusive to Akbar, big conquerors were raised in a certain way to execute power and be extremely brutal, so that the rest surrender. This video could be a great conspiracy theory, but still is partly true, these emperors were called "the great" for a reason which should not be ignored. Even mother Teresa and Gandhiji are said to have these "dark sides" that netizens love to talk about.

Exactly what I feel. Suppose if you are a very good person and listen to people politely and follow their wishes, any stronger king would come and displace you in just a second! He has to be their king, not slave, for that they definitely have to be strong and cruel. And no one ever preached Akbar as a holy person, he was ‘ Great’ for his administrative skills and as a king!

We were always told about the goodness of Mughals in school and because of which we never know the reality. Buy now I'm glad that I never took my school text book or so called NCERT history book seriously.

My grandfather's brother who is now no more has written a book called Indians resistance to early muslim invaders in which it is clearly mentioned that what we used to study in schools or even colleges was just portrayed in a way that all the mughals were like Gods and they never showed the dark side of it.

Sati pratha that sanatani used to do with the widow wife because after the husband died due to any reason the wife became unprotected and during mughal emperor mughals were the predators for the women who doesn't jave husbands. So it's preferable to die with the dead husband rather suffer being in a haram. Like rajputana women used to do johar. Similar thing

I used to think this too but it wasn't the case it was started before Mughal invasion in small masses then after the invasion it became more prominent in society 😅. We should accept that sati was the evil of society. Second is jauhar it wad done by queen and the wives of other soldiers in order to protect their dignity after their husbands martyred

Sati pratha was existing long before Sultani and Mughal period. The widow women mostly misused by the male members of their own family. Besides, to have the possession over their husband ' s property it was introduced. During ancient period it was not there. Even no Hindu scripture does encourage the sati pratha. Thanks and regards.

Wrong! King Hemu was defeated by master mind Bairam Khan. Akbar was hidden away in a safe place, Hemu almost won that battle but unfortunate. When he was captured Akbar refused to behead him, then it was Bairam Khan you took his sword and did the job.

Prithviraj Chauhan defeated md Gauri 16 times I agree ….. but does that chance the fact that the mighty Rajputs were not betrayed by some of their own men? Does it change the fact that if Raja man Singh didn’t fall for the offerings of the Mughals , the Rajputs could’ve easily defeated the Mughals . Marathas , Rajputs both lacked one thing that is unity …. They turned against their own motherland for what the Mughals bribed them for . If some of the Rajputs or Marathas were united and not greedy the Mughals stood no chance against them.

See the thing is, he’s a king….so he was definitely powerful for the matter then even till 21st century, people label him as ‘Akbar the Great’. The thing you said that secularism was his tactics to get a good image, that’s true and it worked for him. That’s why people praise him even till date. That means, he’s definitely a great leader in terms of the fact that he could control the thoughts of his subject and manage such a huge kingdom all by himself. That being said, I obviously know that he was a cruel leader, that he have killed millions of Hindus and other innocent people. But then, no one said he was a good person at heart, people only said he was a good leader. What I believe that means is, He could have a powerful impact on his kingdom, that’s why he was a good leader. But it never meant that he was a good person, he definitely wasn’t! Also I think, whenever one becomes a king, you have to fight a battle to win the land, so obviously any king will have to kill innocent people to win the land. Not ignoring the fact that he blatantly killed many women and children, who could have been spared. Also the thing about marriage to Jodha, if you watch the serial, it was very clearly shown that Akbar had trapped her brothers, it was never said that their marriage was a love marriage. Also it was shown that he destroyed Mandirs and other Hindu places. So I think, that serial showed apt info about Akbar. And my belief about him was, “A great leader , with immense power, who only knew how to expand his kingdom and have a control on his subjects, but didn’t really Care about the people emotionally”
