During the roughly 10 year life of my YT channel Stonecat Wales, I've only uploaded on a casual basis and until recently, I've never had any notion of building up the channel subscriber base. With an eye on my retirement in the not too distant future and coupled with my interest in rare trees and woodland creation, I've decided to boost my subscribership.
This video is a thank you to all of my subscribers so far and an outline of my plan to plant a tree for each new subscriber between now (26th April 2024) and August 31st '24. This will be done on the land described in the video from January 2025 during the next planting season. This is an experiment and the August date is a self imposed deadline which can be changed if required so I can guage the number of saplings I'll need to budget for.
My videos are a mixed bunch organised into subject matter playlists so one subject might not interest a viewer but the next will. Either way, a subscription to this channel if nothing else will help habitat improvement. Subscribe and plant a tree. Not a new idea but a very practical and beneficial one.
