don't know if its been done but its a suggestion, make grip tape off those rubber chickens that make a chicken sound when you squeeze them, you could also use a bunch of squeaky dog toys and use those as grip tape, you'd need some kind of gorilla glue or very strong tape to attach it to the board

friendly suggestion, when you grind the boards down always invest in a c clamp and just clamp it down so you can use both hands for better handling

Yall really should try Like a gel layer with grip over to actually see if it skates better but also reduces impact....try finding like double sided gel tape and make it appropriate thickness to actually skate it

@@brailleskateboarding I've always wondered about this bc remember in the late 90s or early 2000s they made a plastic skateboard deck with a 3/8" foam layer and it was made for snow hills....it had no bindings...just a plastic deck with a squishy from layer ....I remember messing around on them ages ago...I always wondered if it could hybridized to an actual board ....I can't remember what they were called but they were really popular for a short time

Put grip on the underside of the board and skate it. Then, grip on the underside and the trucks bolted to the “top” of the board then skate it. Basically just an upside down set up. lol

Trucks weren't tight the entire time Gabe. Next time tighten them down through the layers of griptape so they tighten against the deck like normal as the more you skated it the more they loosened because the trucks pulled the hardware through rhe grip enough to have baseplate wobble

Do 50 sheets but have each one get shorter so that you have sloped grip tape. So like go to the edge of the nose on the first one and then go to 1/8 of m inch from the nose on the next one
