i played acnh a few years ago in 2021 but quit cause i just didn't have time and i'm trying to get back into the game and there's a lot to know😭 this is really useful, i really couldn't care less if things get repeated :D

You can prove that DJ KK and KK Slider are indeed the same person. After midnight on saturday, KK has a cuppa at the Roost. If you go there at this time and invite DJ KK via the amiibo phone, it'll state, “DJ KK seems to be unreachable right now.”

I miss playing this in 2020. Being stuck at home, not having to work, my only focus was on this amazingly theraputic game. I know the world was in a terrible condition, but man this game helped me mentally recover so much. I wish I could play this game again for the first time.

Totally agree. I took a day off work for ACNH and that happened to be the day my job decided to close. One day off for ACNH turned into two months. I can't imagine how depressing the pandemic would have been without ACNH. It came out at just the right time.

@@bkjamesdaking For me, the day I went to pick up my preorder of this game was the last day any business in my town was open again for at least 3-4 months I believe. It felt so good being able to do something so relaxing, so rewarding, and not having to stress about anything else. I was in a rough spot in my life then and it felt great to have this game, being able to play with friends online as well

I placed a doghouse with some flowers on my secret beach as a little memorial for my family dog. I had no idea a demon dog was in there! 😅 But honestly, my dog was a little devil sometimes, so it still fits 😆

One cool interaction I found was if you’re in the dlc after 5am, and you talk to Wilbur to go Harvey’s island, he’ll tell you you can’t because it’s classified.

A pretty fun thing that I found out the other day, is that the starry wall actually glows when you turn the lights out. It makes it one of my favorite wallpapers by far

Chevre and Nan have each other's pictures too! The makers were inspired by the japanese children's song "goat mail" when they made Chevre and Nan because that song also got a black and a white goat in it

38:31 a little thing I also noticed, I’m pretty sure that if you close your window curtains/blinds, the windows on the exterior of your house will also have their curtains closed. Also, if your main room doesn’t have the lights on, your exterior windows won’t be lit either.

I don't remember if they said in this video, but Blathers' desk in the bug exhibit has a tea and sugar cubes, and the runaway ants are actually going toward the sugar which is a small detail that I just love 😂 Edit: and I think that's why Blathers doesn't go to his desk anymore 🤣

The radio/stereo thing is why I love using the busted radio, since its audio quality is also effected

The pumpkins grow in clusters based on how many times you water them. Water them all 4 days you get the 3 cluster. Water them once for the 2 cluster and not watering them at all will result in just 1 pumpkin growing. Also, I put the Mario superstar in one of those tanks in Cephlobot’s house. It pretty cool looking.

I have two additional things-you-didn’t-know-about-acnh topics, both relating to the character wisp: 1: Wisp will react to your reactions just likeany other in-game Npc! 2: Wisp will also have a special dialogue option when hitting him over the head with a net, saying that he is not one of the spirit pieces and not to give up finding them!

Okay so I can confirm the airport not letting you fly before you hear the morning broadcast is a game limitation thing. I stayed at Paradise Planning overnight by accident, and when I tried to swing by Harv's Island before going back home, Wilbur said it was a negative due to "classified stuff". So that confirms my suspicions that I had to have the reset/rollover to start a new day, and that hinges on Izzy!

i'm pretty sure that you could always clap during K.K.'s performances. i can't be sure but i'm almost positive i discovered that one of the first times i had him perform on my island which was well before the 2.0 update bc i preordered the game and started it the first day it came out.

33:35 The villagers regift things they've been given by each other as well, and if you happen to give something one of them gave you back to the original gift giver, they'll have some dialogue about having seen the item before/it being familiar.

secret i've discoverd: if you catch a sea creature while swimming and you do not have place in inventory you have two options: swap it and let it go, but if you catch a seaweed or perarl your options will be: swap it or forget it

As far as warp pipes go, my island is Pokémon themed, and I decided to divide it into a mainline area and a Mystery Dungeon area. So I decided to hide the pipe behind a piece of scenery or something, with a sign that hints where to jump off of. So when you use it, it looks like you’re warping between two different worlds.

There is actually a way to please everyone when you have to deliver a gift. Open it and then go to Nooks Cranny, buy a wrapping paper and select the item you got out of the present. Then just give it to the villiger you need and no one will find out you opened it

i used to have both chevre and nan on my island, they would visit each other too. since then, nan has moved. maybe they fell out? 😅

About getting special dialogs about specific outfits, I wear Maid Dress often and I remember Marshall asking my for a cup of coffee before joking about thinking I was on service.

Actually to go even further! Not only are your starters always a sisterly and a jock, but the 3 villagers you get for your first 3 plots will always be a peppy, a normal, and a lazy.

“The incident” is likely when Tim noon lived in the city and lost all his money to redd according to the wild world dialogue

22:00 When you don´t water pumpkins, you get one from one planr, when you water them on one day while the plant is growing, you get 2 for this harvest on this plant and if you water them on two growing-days, you get three for this harvest from this plant. When their color is appeared, they are ready for harvest and watering them has instead effect on the next harvest-day after this harvest.

It’s not like kids CANT drink Coffee or anything.

I put the floating blocks to make a roof for my castle. You can’t have any items under them though, but I left a small opening for a wood stove so we have a warm up place to get out of the snow, or rain.

i wish you could ask villagers to 'return' to your island for a day and sleep in the campsite or chill at the roost. it sucks how u have to have their amiibo to invite them back, it'd be so nice to chat with villagers i previously had and had let them leave, imagine if they walk around chatting with their old neighbors! it would be so cute. :)

I like to open the cabinet where the tools are before nooks cranny closes and keep the door open. They won’t kick you out until you close the door.

Princess Peace probably doesn't appear inside the peach surprise box because the baby in the peach surprise box is a reference to Momotaro, which a Japanese fairy tale about a boy born from a peach.😄🍑

I just discovered you can talk to Sow Jones in the hospital waiting area on Mondays, apparently. She'll give you 30 turnips! Idk if that's every time, but she did this time. Pretty cool!

Joan shows up the hospital in Happy Home Paradise on Mondays! You can even get free turnips from her!

Tangy once said “there’s someone passed out on the beach and I dunno, but the vibe is hella off” is this new dialogue?

maybe the kids drinking coffee is just a preference thing since stereotypically kids find coffee gross and would rather eat a cookie but timmy and tommy are hard working lads and need the caffeine to keep up with their boss’s demands

I think this is a compilation video of animal crossing secrets. There are other things that weren’t introduced until the 2.0 update (like the fact that you can see Joan in the dlc) that he mentioned. So he likely made that part of the video before the update :)

With all these characters now modeled in HD and fan outcry/backlash there is no reason for Nintendo to exclude so many characters from the next game like this one originally

The thing with the pumpkins is the same as every other crop: the number of days you water them in a row is directly related to how many each plant produces with a max of 3. So if you pluck your pumpkin amd water it 1 day and not again you'll get 1 pumpkin. If you water 2 days in a row, you'll get 2 pumpkins. 3 days in a row=3 pumpkins per planted crop.

My favorite big furniture that I can put small stuff on is the big Mario mushrooms 🍄 👌🏻

Tortimer in the Roost might be the closest I get to having pears on my island, unless there’s a way to get them all without having to go online.

There is another way to jump off a cliff. If you build a cliff as far out it can go on the peninsula and wear your swimsuit you can jump into the water from higher up.

@CrossingChannel Another awesome video! I've been playing NH as well as other games in the AC series for a long time, and a lot of these secrets still shocked me! Like I had no idea Timmy and Tommy would give you the boot if you stayed too long. That one was one of the most shocking for me. Another shocking secret for me was about clapping along with KK. I was just at one of his shows that he does every Saturday like an hour ago, and I had 2 of my villagers, Drago and Rosie to be exact enjoying the music with my player. I actually thought to myself 'I wonder if she can clap along with the music?' That's awesome and kinda ironic! It's like you read my mind! A lot of the deeper stuff I didn't know like bad blood between Tom and Redd, the history of the Able sisters. That's super cool! Really great video!

I gave my villager the rain hat she gave to me and she said oh I swear I've seen this rain hat before and in my mind I was like n...no you haven't 😂😂😂😂

Pumpkins & other crops will fully grow one veggie without watering them. If you water them once (or it rains), they'll grow two. If you water them the first and second day, they'll grow three.💦🌱🍅🍅🍅

Nan and Chevre are two villagers that have each other's photos in their homes, in New Horizons! I had Nan on my island, she's a black goat with a black rattan home, while Chevre is a white goat a white rattan home. They're in reference to a Japanese folk song! Also the nerdy hamster, Graham, with the tech-server home, has a secret shrine of Christine and Francine hung up above the entryway, it's just high enough that it's easily missable. It's by far one of my favourite easter eggs 😂

My starter villagers are Plucky and Hamlet. I love them so much and they love my gifts. 😄

with vegetables and such - as far as i'm aware, they are grown in 2-day cycles; so let's say day 1 is when they are grown and you harvest them, day 2 they are growing, day 3 the same as day 1 if you don't water at all, by day 3 you will just have one for each crop to harvest. if you water once (say on day 2) then you will have two, if you water both days - both the same day after harvesting, as well as the off-day - you will yield 3 of each!

can you get happy home paradise if you have the game card rather than the digital copy?

I actually had the "thrown out of Nook's Cranny" thing happen to me. I was inside the shop and had to stop playing (I think to start work) so I put my Switch to sleep while still in there. When I went back later, it was after their hours, so they were like "We love having you here, but we're closed, so sorry you need to leave." You technically *can* jump off cliffs if you are jumping into the ocean. You have to have the wetsuit equipped to do this, but I've done it before. I got the special Amiibo dialogue with the Isabelle Smash Bros Amiibo figure. I tried to use it to invite her to the island after she was already there, and it didn't work. Not sure about Digby though (they DID re-release the Amiibo set of him and Isabelle from Amiibo Festival for use in ACNH). I use the warp pipe as a shortcut. When I first started the game, I put my house on the beach, cause I thought that would be fun. It made for a bit of a walk to get to the main Plaza in the center of the island, though, so I put one warp pipe by my house and the other near the Plaza (hiding it behind a vending machine) so I could get there quicker 😂 This makes me want to play the game again. I haven't played in so long my villagers probably all hate me... 😨

I have a pretty large pumpkin farm on my island and yes, if you water them it will give more pumpkins which can get lots of bells.

Ah, KK Slider! I remember back when I played with my friends. Occasionally, when they'd go to listen to a song, I would run around in the area with an axe and try to hit them - I believe I actually showed up in the cutscene when I was within certain bounds (ie where the people/villagers stand) Also, if you stand in a hallway or at the door mat to the Able Sisters changing room, player collision won't be enabled so you can do all sorts of shenanigans like doing yoga inside your friends

I know this video is old but I just had to comment; I was working on Moe's vacation home in HHP, and put the stadium wall with a wrestling ring and judges bell 🛎.. I kid you not I rang the bell, the crowd went wild, & Moe hopped into the ring like he had been clotheslined 😹😹 haven't been able to recreate it since though!!

On Sunday, Daisy Mae kept SWARMMING me. She sat outside my house, followed me and I was sick of it. I then went to The Roost and she didn't have her turnip hat as was eating a cookie

One thing I noticed to add onto your jock and sisterly tip is your 3 villagers you build the plots for will ALWAYS be peppy, normal and lazy with your campsite being Smug. If you do not visit ANY other islands online (to prevent autofilling their void villagers) and you let your NEXT two villagers autofill they WILL 100% your next cranky and snooty. I've also noticed the same goes if you have 10 villagers, 1 of them moves out and you don't have that personality type and you haven't visited anyone online to get their voided villagers- you will get a villager with that same personality type to replace it. The same goes with campsite villagers, if you are missing one personality type, your campsite will always be that personality type till you claim them.

The campsite villagers are not always the type you are missing. It's more likely, but it is still possible to get the other types as well, even if you already have them on your island.
