I imagine there's bugs loose in the bug wing of the museum because Blathers spends as little time as possible in there so he never notices they've escaped. Any time he has to add a new bug I see him like SpongeBob taking out the trash at night: Screaming the entire time he runs up to the exhibit, chucking the bug inside, and screaming all the way back to the door.
@Thatrondomperson5430

And when he has to feed each and every one 😂
@CelestineTheConfused

I fail to see why he would scream the entire time if that means risk eating a bug
Pretty sure that mysterious creature is a centipede. They are often found at the highest and lowest places on the walls of homes since that’s where their food (usually spiders) is found. They are skilled predators that eat other bugs, so I’m sure Blathers wouldn’t mind one bug loose if it meant the death of many others. 😂

It is a centipede! I believe I saw it a few times walking around that wall. I’m not 100% sure but it’s in my memory like that
@Savvy12.

What's referenced as a "tip jar" in the Nookling's shop could also be the plate used to give cash to a cashier. It's a Japanese custom.

Yes! I live in Japan and it’s really rare to see tip jars. Those plates on the game is for paying to the cashier. The design is pretty much the same everywhere through Japan.

I'm russian and cash trays are very common here as well, they're basically in every shop and come in variety of designs. I'm surprised to learn they're not a thing everywhere since it's just a simple way to avoid getting the counter scratched!

I was about to comment this, especially since tipping in their culture is also not common at all
I find it weird that the camper never leaves their tent(I haven't see them on my island anyway). I think it would be a hoot of they were out exploring my island.
@alissalalala

so true! they talk about experiencing the island and chatting with the locals, but they never leave that damn tent 😭
The museum is filled with little extras for fans of biology, history, and art. Just yesterday I had my monkey villager in the fossil exhibit and you can see the evolution tree and we both were standing in just the right spot. ❤️

The museum is gorgeous, I love the fossils exhibit
The fighting beetles is also a reference to what kids would do in Japan. A childhood past time for little boys is to catch beetles (since the ones in Japan are huge) and you'd put them in front of each other to fight. That's why you catch them with nets and have them in those distinct mini tanks in game! Also centipedes are super common to find in Japanese houses out in the countryside, and they hide up on the top by the ceiling! For that "tip jar" - its not a tip jar. That's a reference to mini marts in Japan where you put your yen or credit card in. For some reason, that's how you pass money from customer to clerk.
Isabell is actually an experienced gardener! I believe she reads a book about flowers and notice how she’s growing a HYBRID flower which is “difficult” in animal crossing depending on what flower. So technically she’s got a good green thumb!! ❤
@ 6:30 the sign for the horseshoe crabs is also hinting at the fact that they have blue blood with the blue filled syringe. It's used in medical fields for detecting bacterial toxins ☝🏼
A very interesting detail of Sable is she was very very little when their parents died. It was inferred she was maybe 2 or so, an infant. If I remember my dialogues, I can guesstimate Mable was 19, Label was 17. This that puts a huge gap between Sable and her sisters, and not only ads more context to their dynamic but a framework as to how much they struggled.
@micah4953

@@ashjuchau6928 Actually no, in Animal Crossing New Leaf Welcome Amibo, Sable mentions that one of her younger sisters returned aka Labelle or Label. In Animal Crossing City Folk, Label is working for Gracie and was given the name Labelle. So it goes Sable, Label, Mable with Mable being very young. It's also why Sable is such a workaholic
the acnh museum really does remind me of a few childrens museums i'd been to as a kid. big glowy plastic asteroids, earth's crust over billions or years, tiny glass cloches of weird extinct plants. it's such a chill and happy vibe
8:25 actually, Sable does leave! I don't remember when it happened, but I met with her at the Rooster once. It was either really early in the morning, or pretty late in the night..
In the winter, they should have had their shops inside their campers because of the cold. It’d be the same when it rains too. That’d be neat, and more realistic.
5:18 I know this is an older video but I want to confirm that the bug is supposed to be there, in fact, in the newer updates, the centipede is moved to the top of the cupboards above the flies so you can see it a bit better, and it and the moth on the sheet only come out at night since they are nocturnal animals, i just thought that was a nice little touch

Actually sometimes you can catch Sable in the Roost if you knew or not
Horseshoe crabs don't sting anything with their tails. It's just elongated part of their exoskeleton that helps them stabilize themselves.
@surinamarie

Ha came here to say this
I think the fish in the bug room only appear once you have donated them to the fish area, so in a way you did donate them, pretty sure the small fossils worked somehow like that as well, you donated something else and they appear
Horseshoe crabs do not have stingers. It's it tail. Thanks for all this new information. I'm looking forward to discovering it all.
If you have a full inventory and sell one item slot for over 100,000 bells, you won't have enough item space to store your bells, so he says: Thank you very much! Your wallet and pockets are full, so I'll just wire the payment to your account. This can be done by selling the throne, as profit margins are 300%, and the throne is 800,000, meaning it sells for 200,000, or with gold, which is 10,000 each, but stacks in 30s.
If you open your camera app and zoom out, you can actually see the mystery creature in the museum. It’s a centipede 😃
The older games had Brewster, lol. Which, technically is a statement that still isn't wrong. Another thing to note is that Lyle does call Nook out for being a huge K.K. fanboy in New Leaf. New Horizons is just the first game to actually show rather than just tell.
7:58 a detailed I think it’s also cool about the patterns is that in festivale day she’s working on a whole sparkly fabric
So, I recently (re)learned that the way to get the golden shovel (the only golden tool I don't have) is to help Gulliver 30 times. Thing is, when I look at my achievements in the Nook Mile app, it says I reached the 20 times mark in 2020.. I still don't have the recipe. Are you telling me I got him 20 times in a year, but still haven't helped him an additional 10 times the past 3-4 years? Am I just unlucky, or is my game broken?.. Edit: I also still only have one (1) blue rose, despite having like 20 special red roses, that I water almost every day 😭 Maybe I'm just cursed lol.

for the nook miles achievement, gullivarr also counts toward the goal. but helping gulliver is the only way to get the golden shovel so it's definitely just desynced

the way i track the golden shovel progres is through the rusted communicator part that pops up in recycling the day after gulliver visits
6:23 Horseshoe crabs don't actually have a stinger of any kind! It's a common misconception, but it's completely harmless. The "stinger" is just the lil' guy's tail.
There's a koi fish swimming in the butterfly fountain as well in the museum.
Those are examples of soft-body organisms, which rarely leave behind fossils.
Hi! At 26:05 when you ask why he loves golfing so much. Well Nintendo is most likely inferring that he is rich in bells by using the sport golf because golf is one of the more classy and expensive sports in the world and can indicate occasionally wealth. Also it can mean he is a chill dude in this game because it is a very chill,relaxing sport too! Btw I love your vids keep up the amazing work!🎉

I’d love to have the npc homes, it’s unfortunate that you can only really invite them to the cafe or build them a home in the dlc. It’d be nice to have the Stardew-ish aspect to see where or rather how they live. I’d love to have Celeste as a resident
I'm stuck with K.K. Slider as I've got all his tunes now but I don't know how to get the tunes from happy home paradise?
I would love to be able to decorate the third terraforming, give it some life not just plain.
One thing that I love about the art exhibit vs the rest of the museum is the addition of information about the piece. I wish the fish, bug and fossil exhibits showed further facts about them.
6:57 fish actually are sentient beings, btw.
I thought the mini recreation thing in the corner of the meteor hitting was a flower ;_;
for the museum : fish appear in the bug exhibit when you donate them for the fish exhibit, and it's the same in the fossil exhibit for some of these
Just the smallest note, your content is amazing! I would maybe try to edit your script a bit, though. After every secret, a good amount of time was added saying things that don't actually add anything to the content itself. It's always good to go back and review when doing a presentation☺
I don't think that's a tip jar in the store. From my experience traveling to Japan, many stores will not hand you change directly. Instead, they put it into a little tray like that and slide it over to you. I'm pretty sure that's what that is.
During the museum week stamp rally, the meteor's space is called "extinction spot" "hopefully we wont be experiencing a fire in Animal Crossing any time soon" do you ever watch Densle animations? The piranha was aggro in New Leaf too. Also it already is sentient. You may be thinking of sapience. I would have thought Sable was the youngest, actually! All the conversation about the "tip jar" and what it really is but it's all useless because you always hand the money directly to them! The cash register is useless too for the same reason.
Every time I start a new game I almost always read the last question about what you’d bring to the island wrong. I always read “something too kill me”
Did you know that Isabelle... IS A BELL?

Thank for taking your time to posting for us 😊
"Funfact": I have a island with to players. A villager gifted the second player a clothing item I gifted them. Basically if a villager gets sick of an item you gave them, there is a chance they will give it to another player. Funnely enough this was the same clothing item that said villlager proudly told player 2 was a gift from player one while wearing it a few days prior.
Fossils are not bones, they are the remnants of bone imprints that were then filled with sediment to make a fossil.
This video is really cool! Thanks for making this viswo :3

It would have been good if you added some transition slides in between each category. The snapping from one numbered list to another is really jarring and gives the impression that you've mashed several videos together unceremoniously. Apart from that, its a good string of videos you've stitched together.

invite the villagers to your vacation place with a souvenir and there in the air port
Thanks for the awesome informational video. Bob's Gang!
If you give your villagers chocolate from the happy homes paradise, they can go with you in the airport and go to the island. You can build them a vacation home ☺️
Awesome video. Can you find some info on the hedgehogs why is 1 blue and the other 1 brown and Lable is Purple too? just curious. I would love it if they came to visit me and stood up and away from the sewing machine. Or the other sister takes turns 1 day Sable another day Mable. What about Sable, Mable and Lable going to the dream home where sometimes we could visit them but still work into the shop. Thank you.

21:34 - actually, funny enough, that is not a tip jar! its a little tray used to handle money and helps with hygiene. I only know this from japanese culture videos haha, but apparently youre supposed to put your cash money in the tray instead of handing it directly to the cashier as you pay.
I've always assumed that the little figures in fossil exhibit were 3D models Blathers created to show what creature came from.the fossil (or it's modern day equivalent)
I started this game on thr first so I’m very excited to see all of these :0
Isabelle wakes because when you sit, the chair squeaks in a frequency only dogs can hear
I have one! If you use the star wand and you have a Mario (at least hat) it will play a special jingle
@ 26:55 very entertained by the magazine just being the same page over and over
I still wish they had exclusive fossils that have to either be donated by a neighbor after a task for them or they gift it to you, would be cool if they could catch actually catch bugs fish and fossils rather than fake chase them
6:27 It's actually not a stinger, nor does it sting at all, it is actually a telson (or tail). The horseshoe crab uses it to flip itself over when getting caught upside down in a wave! Just thought that I could inform anyone reading this ^^
Aren't Chrissy and Francine musicians as well?
What custom design do you use
so on pomtree i did grope streching and sable came out

5:23 I think that's the centipede?? Not sure why its there tho lol
did you know if you don't have more than the base villagers you start with, and it becomes your birthday, they will wish you happy birthday but will not have a party for you?
5:20 Well, with the games development I've seen, it's probably there because removing it breaks something else in the game lmao
