nooooooo!!! I'm all about doing stuff the easy way, but that foam is gonna make it worse. It's gonna soak up the water and salt and just hold it against the good metal and rot it even worse! You should have just jb welded some sheet metal from the back then do the Bondo 🤷🏻♂️

I'm replacing the entire roof of my 88 obs chevy because of the exact scenario. 8 years ago I STUPIDLY filled my roof with Great Stuff as part of the sound deadening project. While it did sound nice and dead & solid like a solid oak door, it absorbed water from somewhere and rotted out the whole damn roof. Mind you I live in So Cal where it is fairly dry year round and it still happened.

Bobby, you're just saying that because you have to. LOL
Back to the original Street Speed, working on his own stuff! Built not bought! Good job!
Seeing the C8 covered in snow looks SO DANG GOOD
I like this more than the main channel
this series is seriously more fun to watch than your main episodes😂please keep these long videos!! its so awesome
So glad we got a restoration on the channel finally! Also love the raw DIY build as apposed to taking it to the shop like most of your other projects! Can't wait for more of this content.
Love these old blazer, thanks for sharing.
Looks like your windshield is leaking. Better get that checked out before your new carpet is ruined. Great video!!
The old times videos 👌
Love the OBS Blazer !! 👍 i myself Own a 98 Chevy K1500 Z71 OBS ,, when is the Muffler Delete Happening ?? 👍
Mike and Gina Great Video I'm so glad Mike decided to do a Restoration on her 1994 Blazer and I'm glad he made alot of progress already
Rust repair honestly looks really good and the new carpet looks really good as well. Great job Mike.
Hey mike, Bondo glazing putty would've helped topped that rust repair off, also a decent amount of elbow grease with some 1200 grit on a block. Overall I love how it all came out. I havea 94 z71 with the same interior and color and the blue really grows on you.
Love the truck! Can’t wait to see this around town!
Ayy new video! Love watching mike and gina, and the ss717 channel
You know.....I ain't gonna lie- I was gonna light your ass up for your rust "repair" but then I thought........on a budget and what you're gonna do to this truck- that repair makes perfect financial sense. Job well done.
Great video Mike! Appreciate the transparency on your methods and thanks for the tips!
Nice work Mike! I think it looks great! 👍😎
Mike your patch job on the blazer looks good and so does the new carpet
Great job Mike carpet lookin fresh like it would off the lot back in the day
Yes this is awesome can’t wait for part 2 already
GREAT JOB WITH THE CARPET! it looks great! Great job installing it. Now when you go to have it detailed see if they can do something like a o-zone to kill any airborne mold and it will help eliminate any type of musty smell left behind! Maybe throw some LEDs in the interior lights. Can’t wait to see what else you have in store!
Love this series already
So pumped for this blazer redo! I’m a few months ahead of you with the rebuild on my 98 Dodge Ram 12 valve Cummins that I got from the original owner!
Love seeing you do some of the work like the old days 😂
This is the content i miss from SS! Love it man, keep it up :)
Hey man lmc truck is a good place to get parts
Good job Mike. Looks good.
love this type of content!
I'm just glad to see ya doing a two door Tahoe /blazer not many around anymore did good with the body work figure once you do the deep clean you probably will do bumpers and wheels
Mike's really reliving his highschool years with an OBS chevy, except now its just a sidequest. hahaha. Absolutely loved the video!
I love this project Mike. You should definitely paint the seat parts. Do a new steering wheel, stereo, some speakers. That could be a sweet ride
Wow man! Looks great 🤘
Prestige car audio was sold at Kragen years ago , I had a cd player in my first car 86 nissan sentra back in 97 in high school. The head unit was 40 bucks brand new. I remember all of us had prestige cd players in our 500 dollar cars.
That's a good job on the body for a novice Mike! Don't sell yourself short!! And I'm definitely entered for the Camaro and Corvette. Praying I'll FINALLY get a call. But great job on the Blazer!!
Love the way the carpet came out.
Love watching videos like this love the blazer to
Check your cowl. There is a screw right above the hvac inlet that can leak. Mine had that issue and I just put some silicone on the screw that holds down the cowl cover.
Love those old trucks
Great job on the carpet Mike
Great job, Mike.
factory condition, love it
Absolutely fantastic job on the carpet Mike. Looks amazing. You did good on the DIY rust repair too. Just, please continue to restore this old blazer, and don't butcher it or off-road it. It's too nice for that.
Nice job on the carpet
Great Content- Entered for the Zl1
Omg Mike I wish I had my garage built ide love work on one your old rides!!! Help bring it back or build it…. Soon maybe end summer next spring!!!!
Just like your old videos love it
that will make the rust worse, you can only fix metal with metal
good job. get that mold out it will get in everything.

I think he used 4-wheel parts group before that might have been just been for rims and tires
I'd be happy to come over and show you how to replace your headliner. It's really pretty easy.
Very good job
I did this to my dodge pickup I had in high school the thing had so much foam in it it could of probably floated lol
Hurts me so bad every time I see someone fix Rust that way. Love the truck though and can't wait for more vids with it
I do feel like the blazer content maybe should be on the main channel. It was what brought me to the main channel during that time. The affordable car demographic is very big in comparison to the very expensive exotic car demographic. But I can understand keeping the main channel for the super cool stuff.
I’m so proud of you mike magnificent job this video was epic And you put the love and time into it. This is the mike we love to see Handyman mike. Lol 😂
If the passenger floorboard was wet make sure your heater core isn't leaking. That's usually a sure sign of it especially if you smell antifreeze when you're driving. Glad to see you saving this one!
Yes!!!!🔥🔥🔥
The fact you went "we are gonna ignore this for now" then just poked it till it failed only a second later made me laugh cause I've done the exact same thing
MIKE PLS DO A 3rd GEN 4RUNNER BUILD!!! Like a nice overland setup long travel suspension camping build maybe a roof rack that pops up into tent with a level storage box in rear pls research 3rd gen 4Runner nomad builds plus you could do some camping content that would be awsome!
Really like the DIY style on this bad ass truck.
Just an FYI, that CD changer is aftermarket. It was an up-sale at the dealership. I used to install them along with security systems and remote starters back in the 90's.
Let’s go!!!
You could use raptor liner on bottom to cover up repair spot. Tape off about 6 inch from bottom.
Cool 😎 !!
That thing is nice homie.
Love the Blazer!!!!!!!
Good job Mike did notice the electric heater going while you were working on the blazer just alittle nippy
you did fine with the rust repair I love that truck I found a 2004 Yukon one owner here in NY by me I got super lucky like you
Nice job on the restoration. That's a cool ride for $5G!🤩😎
Crazy with the inspections PA has. We’re just North West of you in Ontario Canada and no body inspections here. Good thing because I’ve already seen S550 Mustangs with complete holes through doors and rear quarters thanks to our Canadian salted roads. Guaranteed that area you foamed will never rust again LOL 🤙
Solid Axle Swap
POR15 makes really good products for this stuff. 3M automotive seam sealer is a great option too for putting metal in there also
The detail spray and tire shine smell great too! My garage smells like vanilla. Is the hvac drain clogged that you’re getting water, mold, and rust on the passenger floor?
u should add a starlight headliner in the blazer that makes it look cool
get some spray on rust converter that shit is amazing
I have a 99 Tahoe, very clean, similar to this but 4 door. Thing is mucho perfecto, I love it.
Watch the wetness on passenger side. I had water from a/c coming back into cab fixed it for like three bucks. And a little disappointed you didn’t show what you did to floor before you put carpet in. But I’m glad you are trying to better this truck.
This is cool. I would crawl underneath and make sure everything is good for some peace of mind. Can't wait to see how this turns out.
Nice to see a low budget build. should be a nice blazer when done.
Those old CD changers usually played through an FM modulator if it had the factory radio.
The intro is the definition of letting your intrusive thoughts win
I hope the M1 in the back is a hint at a crazy new engine for the Blazer.
Nice Mike 🔥
Time for some fabric protectant spray and some WeatherTech Floor Liners to keep that beautiful new carpet protected!
Love it
Buddy for $20 you can get a fiberglass mat kit to lay over the foam for strength , that will never last like you have it ,no structure behind the bondo… but fiberglass is a permanent cheap and easy fix.and p.s. foam holds in moister and will rot the remaining metal 200% faster than not having foam in there.. Just fiberglass it for $20 and be done with it and it only takes 15 minutes to cure so you can bondo .. just some friendly advice or opinion which ever you prefer.
That jack cover is actually really hard to find and not re produced ...they are 2 door blazer, yukon, tahoe only ...blue is also the hardest to find ...I have a Grey one and can get a brown one that I know where it's at and paint it that blue with sem, the carpet u can buy new at rock auto , that spare tire carrier is also worth something definitely don't scrap ... any knowledge on these u need please hit me up I love these rigs!
If he is going to destroy it like the last one the carpet job is good but if you care at all you need to find the leak and sand the rust on the floor
Hey what happened to the og blazer?

It's probably in the woods at his new property buried in the trees.
Hey, for a quick repair that didn't turn out bad! That foam isn't good. But hey, it looks better than a hole! I'd see if you could get a metal patch welded in that area, then even use that same paint.
You need to put the 95 front end on it. I swapped mine to a gmc grille. Looks way better
She’s a Heater man🤘🏻
Simple fix for the headliner where the fabric is drooping down. First poke a small hole through the fabric with an ice pick. Next squirt spray headliner glue through hole with a straw like WD-40 has. I have actually found spray headliner glue that has the straw but you can just swap out one from another product if needed. Don't go overboard with the glue. It's better to do it in several spots with less glue so you avoid staining and glue coming through the fabric. It works really well and you don't have to go through the hassle of replacing a whole headliner.
check the heater core the rust and wetness of the carpet comes form it leaking
The cd changer is missing the Cartridge that holds the discs but that was the good stuff back in the day
Next video idea: Fixing a hole with ramen noodles. That would be hilarious!! Glad to see some of the old video vibes in this series.
Hey bro you done good
Looks decent for cheap :)
