Just getting back into coin roll hunting after the pandemic. My son owns a laundromat and gave me access to a five gallon bucket two-thirds full of quarters. After 7 hours I had completed 98 slots in an Fifty States Album (100 slots, didn’t find Nebraska-D and Michigan-D, yet). Also found two W quarters and one 1999 Georgia State proof. Didn’t find any silver but lots of 1965’s. Only got about a third of the way through the bucket, going back next week to continue!

Hi Quin, just got done watching your 50 rolls series, I was hoping you'd have more luck (grats on the west point), but it is what it is right. One of my nieces has the coin collecting bug and I turned her onto your channel a couple years ago, especially since you're a Michigan fan, GO BLUE! She's 12 years old now and not allowed to comment on videos (my sis says she's too young), so she wanted me to tell you that your channel is awesome and that she's your number one fan. Anyway, I buy pennies and nickels for her mainly (they are her favorite to search), but I try to help when I can. Rock On!

Hey 2Rockin1, your comments caught my eye about your 12 year old niece collecting coins, because I also began collecting at that age. And, my family gave me some really good stuff. It also didn't hurt that I had a sister who worked ina Bank and a sister who had a boyfriend whose brother owned our community grocery store. They have both passed away, tragically, but my memories of their wanting to help me build up my collection will always be there. I'm now 65 year's old, going on 66 next month, and I'm always collecting the State/Territories quarters for my four grandsons. Good luck with your niece. Hopefully she will also develop great memories of you.

I really love finding wheat pennies.I JUST JUST amazed by how they look and because of the way they have the wheat pennies are the way the wheat are made I am so happy that someone that that I loved so much and was .my love of my life had a collection of wheat pennies and went on I up the late 60iest was my father in law who really the love of my life and DEAR TO MY SOUL .that passed away a a few years ago and is missed 😢 so bad.. Yes that was a lot of fun watching, definitely do that series again. I do mostly quarters, some nickel and have pennies yet to get through, but quarters being my favorite, usually 15-20 rolls a week. My bank wants me to roll up and bring back and they will give me new loomis and customer rolls in exchange and I can always get a few extra, they also alert me to anything interesting like halves, dollar or $2 currency. I see you pass by a lot of one's that have errors, like homestead "snow on the roof" "leaky bucket " , Hawaii die chip in the B, Minn. Extra tree, block island die chip on foot, Roosevelt hat, Effigy , Saratoga doubling, Cumberland isl. Wing, ect. Do you check off camera? Anyway great job, good idea for a series, I think it was a hit!

Great video Quin! You’ve inspired me to get back into coin roll hunting. Might pick up some quarters this week.

I enjoyed the 5 bank 5 coins hunt series. If you can do it again sometime maybe you can split them to 5 rolls each for you and your bride and make a contest of it, and even two bonus points for each penny in machine rolled quarters, and one for each penny in machine rolled nickels. Here's the setup: So many varieties of coins over the last 25 years or so. Canada and USA are kinda ruining the commemorative coin. And the punch: Why so many designs each year, are they put out by Wizards of the Coast? Just kidding of course, speaking as a numismatist, variety is the spice of the sport.

Great video! Love the idea of this. Question for you? Are you just keeping the 2009 quarters because of low mintage?

We keep all of our 2020 quarters p and d. 500 + w,s really awesome designs for that year thank you for the video enjoyed it.

Great find on that W V75! I've only found four W's 2019's, three are American National Park and one from my island, War in the Pacific. A 2001S Vermont and a 2017S New Jersey. Nothing for a while now. But i still remember the excitement!!

You inspired me this weekend to buy $80 of assorted coin rolls to search with my son. Found a Panama quarter with color in it. We had the hardest time figuring which of the America The Beautiful coins we had until I realized that it wasn’t even from America!

If you look at the coin in 9:43, you can't even see the mintmark.

Man, I don’t know anything about quarters but i definitely had a west point quarter. I wondered what the v75 was and I never googled it. I spent it in a coke machine at work. It had been in my car door and I only noticed the v75 because I was picking quarters out of random change and I thought “wonder when they started doing that?” Oh well.

There's a known flaw on the bats coin!

I like collecting the American Samoa quarters just because of how cute they are

Quinn, at 10:10 you say that the NH(P) has what appears to be grease. I thought it looked like weak strike in those areas. How do grease areas differ from weak strikes in the lettering?

I don’t know if you know this but there’s actually a few errors on bicentennials that you can look for under the scope, just a video idea for you.

On that West Point Bat Quarter, did you see Liberty on the front? the "T" looked a little off or die-chipped.

I didn’t hear you mention it, but you probably check all your bicentennial quarters for s mint marks…suppose the way you check the rims would give them away too though.

I have a 2009 Duke Ellington quarter where the last "N" in Ellington looks to have a die chip on the right side of the "N". Is this an error?

Yes it was! I didn't notice that the mintmark was also missing until the end of the video, but it is definitely missing!

They are low mintage in some denominations, specifically nickels and dimes. For pennies, that is the one year where the design deviates from the standard penny design. For quarters, they’re somewhat low mintage (and unique because it is the only year that features US territories), but 2010 are definitely lower mintage than 2009 for quarters

I've just started watching. How do you get rolls of certain new quarters from banks? I don't understand. Thank you, anyone.

I just got a full box of machine rolled 2022 D Dimes from my bank. The rolls seem to be new and uncirculated. Although they seem to have VERY rough and noticeable edges! Is that normal? Wish there was a way I could show you a picture of them.

I found a 1945 S mint war nickel it my first silver find from coin roll hunting

I keep all of my bats just because I’ve always loved bats and I keep all of my San Antonio because they remind me of the old Spanish coins made famous by pirate tales.

I was coin roll hunting for the first time and I found 27 wheat cents in 1 roll

6:18 looks like PMD... there are a lot more error coins to look for in quarters: nevada, arizona, minnesota, tuskegee, and others are for sure worth looking at.

@@QuinsCoins yeah, i think i have a crown that's about equivalent to the one you found. nothing super spectacular, but i kept it anyway. :) oh, i found my second ever V nickel the other day. 1900, but it was super worn, :p. and the first roll i opened from that box gave me a penny, an actual british penny though, so i was happy with that.

You should some quarters that had the mint marks totally wiped off what about orders that you can't even tell what the mint mark is it all because it's just like a blob?? I have a few that you can't tell what the good markers because it's there but it's just a little blob instead of a letter. Any idea what that is?

I’ve gotten a West Point quarter before but I didn’t know it was rare so I spent it. 😢

I've been collecting the 1999 to present quarter's. I found hundred's of errors that I didn't know that I had. So now I'm going through them. However we I don't have much time to check. Yet, I think that I will check out the one's I have, when I get the chance to. Meanwhile, there are some really interesting errors out there.

I went to the Coin site you presented on your video. I then bought 1. Tube of the "S" Mint State and America the beautiful quarters. I can't wait to see what I get. Also, I thought shipping was free. And, it mentioned a discount coupon code which I couldn't find.Do you know anything about this? If you do can you please send it to me? By the way, I go to a program where people buy lunches and dinner's for $1.00 each. Most of the time they pay with quarters, from 1999 to present. Since I enjoy counting the coin's once a month, I usually get some interesting finds. The Director of my program is glad I do this, because, some time ago, their Bank began charging them for depositing the coins. Also, many times, I've gotten more than $100.00., in change. My Bank doesn't charge me and were so happy to see me bringing in so many coins, that they are always happy to see what me. In fact, I can also get boxes of quarters with no hassle, as to it's my Bank, when so many coin roll hunter's were saying on Utube that since they didn't have accounts with most Banks, the Banks would limit them on how many rolls they could have. Do you remember when it happened?
