In this video, Kevin and I are coin roll hunting another $100 box of nickels in search of rare old coins! This is a competition hunt, which means that whoever finds the most rare and old coins wins. In this hunt, we were able to pull out some really awesome coins, including a nice old buffalo nickel! Watch on to see what else we were able to find, and to find out who wins!

I recently bought a grab bag on Ebay of buffalo nickels and they all came in great condition. 1924, 1935, 2 1934's, 1920, 1930 and a 1928. No mint Mark's but some pretty good dates

I'm 75 years old and get a huge kick out of your enthusiasm! Every time you pick an older nickel I try to think of something significant that happened that year in my life -- so far, so good ...but I only go back to 1944.

Congrats on the finds. I went through a great nickel box last week. Found a Buffalo Two war nickels Two proofs and four key dates 49 S 53 S 50 P and a 46 S and a 39 Jefferson.

Not a coin roll hunt but I thought I'd send a message about Canadian coins. I know you get a few being close to the border but we rarely see any down here in North Carolina. Imagine my surprise when I got a 2000 Canadian quarter in change at my grocery store. I had never seen the Canadian millennium series before and didn't know about the 12 different quarters issued that year. The one I got looks brand new (got it a couple of weeks ago). It is the February quarter.

Hmm are you sure about that? It looks like buffalo nickels weren't actually made in 1932. I would take a closer look at that last digit. Either way, great find!

I got 2 full steps this week and being sent to PCGS in February 1940 and 1944 -D war I also got a 1992 , 1998 , 2016-D all 6 full steps but not sending these in to be slabbed yet . Best $200.00 nickel hunt I ever had. I also got $6.40 in 1938-1959 and $2.05 in 1960’s-1974 in uncirculated condition . I figured someone emptied a nickel coin book as for what I got out of a $200.00 bag from my credit union.
Usually in Bensalem I go to banks and buy nickels and usually I get around five 1938 Jefferson nickels in a box And I love it
Always enjoy watching what you guys find. I pulled a slick buffalo the other week with an S mint mark.. Had to nic-a-date it, but it was a 1924-S. HH
A little note about the chip found by your brother: In Germany, shopping trolleys are tied to chains in the container at supermarkets or discounters. These chains are released by a release mechanism, which is triggered by inserting a coin (e.g. 0.50 € or 1.00 € piece). Now there are companies that give away key fobs for advertising purposes, in which a plastic or metal disc is inserted. These discs are often blank - like your brother's piece. If the blue chip has a diameter of 23.25 mm (= 1.00 €) or 24.25 mm (= 0.50 €), it could also be such a token.

We are using the same scoring system as usual, so everything that counted for points before still counts for points now. The only difference is that duplicates aren’t worth anything. So all buffaloes are still worth at least 15 points.

I went to my bank and got 25$ worth of nickels and got 7 Buffalo nickels all 1919
