Just in case anyone watching is extremely new, the numbers he's throwing out are used to represent the tower upgrades. It tells you how many tiers go into the top, middle, and bottom paths respectively. So a 5-0-1 alchemist is referring to a perma-buff with the faster throwing upgrade. A x-3-x village would mean an MIB, but with no information on crosspaths (so you could mean 0-3-0 or 2-3-0 or 0-3-1 etc.)

The top path sub then also becomes a good AoE tick tower as a 402 AND strips camo from all bloons immediately, even DDTs. Energizer is as good as glue gunner taking care of normal bloons and has great all round support Another tip: Top path Engineer gains double the dps from Call to Arms/Homeland Defense, as the turrets fire faster but also the engineer deploys them faster. When also buffed by an Overclock he can solo every Impoppable round. Homeland Defense alone gives it 8x DPS when targeting a single bloon

to be more specific: pat can be placed on land and in water, but only gets the carrier flagship buff when in water and brickell is on a submarine, so obvious cant go on land

If you're on windows, there's a "pointer option" in the additional mouse settings to make ctrl outline your mouse It's very useful to me

this gave me an idea thanks! i used to put a tack shooter for fire to hit lead bloons for sauda, but now I'll just get the alchemist to add poison tip until she hits lvl16

I did not know there was a bigger cursor option helps a lot for late game!

The best way to deal with leads is a 1-0-0 sniper because it turns them into greens, which trivializes 28 and 30.With 29 already being pretty easy if you use your hero ability or on 31 against the zebras this can be one of the best times to save up for a more expensive upgrade without a good build up such as Neva Miss, or a discount village.

Fun fact: berserker brew and stronger stimulant don’t allow effected monkeys to pop leads, only the acidic mixture dip allows your monkeys to pop leads.

One I’d add for newer players. Top path aces are extremely powerful and learning a little micro can go a LONG way

The start of some CHIMPS games is definitely the hardest thing in this game, as you have to mess around with positioning, targeting, tower types, etc. perfectly. This video helped a lot though!

I am almost the opposite, I find mid-late game more frustrating because of how much time you lose.

I honestly LOVE Etienne for his level 8 global camo detection with the UAV, sometimes buying level ups to get it faster

i am a relativley new palyer your tips have helped me out so muchh i am able to beat diffuculties like apocalypse abr magic monkeys only on some of the easyer maps i just go around beat every difficulty on a map i know how to and then move on to the next its been pretty efective i almost have enough to afford my second hero

x-x-4 mortar also removes regen, although the fortified and camo are the reason you should buy it.

another tip: try to experiment crosspaths on different maps to give you a general idea on which is good i highly recommend to practice on sandbox or communities

what about how the top path and middle path subs and how they interact with being 502 and 052 because the bottom I think makes the ballistic missle better and increases the radar speed.

1 more tip. If you want to create the ultimate sun god, you can upgrade your dark night to 4, telepor it to a sun god temple to get the cost reduction, upgrade it to tier5, and then teleport it back outside the temple range so It won't get sacrificed

Why wouldn’t you just start building the dark knight within the temple range then tp out? Also they works with anti bloon and chinook

If you're farming with bottom path boats, using xx4 or xx5 farms will give you bigger boat gains

All this time I thought the small bloons were a limited thing before in the trophy store. Then I thought it was desktop only when I didn’t see the option on my phone. Then I found the achievement lol

I had to slow down the video to follow so I could not do it in 10 minutes but it was still worth it. Thanks.

2:31 probably should mention that the alchemist also has innate lead popping abilities thanks to it’s acid based attacks. In fact it can pop ANY non Camo bloon type thanks to its acid. Also interesting fact about a 2-x-x sub, if a bloon enters the range of a tower that has any sort of camo detection then the sub will be able to attack it as well despite not having it’s own camo detection abilities.

Great video, but you've gotta use a dark background and lighting from behind the camera for those thumbnail pics.

On maps where there’s a straight path for sniper to shoot down I set it to close cuz I always cross path with shrapnel, for maximum damage and so the spread hits any Bloons behind the targeted bloon

I think an important one is get the extra monkey money and extra xp monkey knowledge asap.

Use close on Ice and Glue Monkeys. Hits more and splatter and ice shards will be used to their max ability

There’s another reason bottom path farms are good; they sell for more, making them excellent for things where you know you need to sell your farms, like in Bosses.

For round 28, I normally have set a 004 alch to get the gold from the leads

It actually works with the outdoor games like Bloons TD I know this because I tried us who is nothing more because you would give more space and you don’t have to use more Smays delete them

Dart monkey also works with boomerangs, they just have no camo detect

Abilities can be used with Tech Bots, and Nudging can be used with the placement setting so you don’t have to place the tower on the track first and let’s you move the tower as many times as you want before confirming

worth noting that not all abilities should really be tech botted. You'll likely be fine and it will help somewhat but not all abilities get great value out of them

If you buff sauda with an alchemist 4-2-0 and a village 2-0-0 she can deal lots more damage as well as have lots more range

Thanks for this video! Here are some noob followup questions: Besides 63 and 78, what are some of the rounds that most punish greedy farm spending strats? Is picking a level 2 crosspath for every tower bad value/a trap? How do you know when to leave a tower with only its primary upgrade path, and for how long? What's your personal favorite underrated tower?

Rounds 4, 14, and 76 come to mind. Most of the time it's good to get the second upgrade of a crosspath, but sometimes they aren't needed (like camo detection when you already have a village). Another example is a 0-1-5 druid is often better than a 0-2-5 because it doesn't strip the regrow property, making it attack more/faster. And I like the carrier flagship more than most

You don’t have to put a tower over an invalid space to nudge if you enable Drop and Lock in settings. If you do that you can place the tower anywhere and still nudge

To deal with camos, well, most of the main towers I use have camo detection anyways (Ninja, 2/0/4 super monkey, or in endgame, the ninja paragon)

My go-to lead popper is actually the 0-0-0 alchemist. It deals with round 28 nicely and can just be upgraded at a later point in time. Superior to the bomb shooter imo

My favourite is a 4-2-0 Dart monkey

The boat + 024 Farm strat actually pays itself off faster than any other farm in the game. Super busted on maps you can get it on.
