@ 2:00, The man has a youtube channel in which he uploaded this video and follow-ups! The kids came along to help with the shelter he'd been building out there, and the severe weather hit them very unexpectedly. They didn't have power in their home for a while, and you can see the damage around town as they pitch in to help family and neighbors. Seeing all the trees around that shelter flattened - that clearning turned to brush in an instant! It's incredible they made it out alright - and even managed to get the bikes onces things had settled down. Kind if incredible he was able to find his way back there in the mess, but it goes to show how familiar he was with the area. Edit* Tyson Peers was the channel!

As someone who's lived through a tornado, That looked nothing like what I went through. An F2 tornado touched down about 3 blocks from my house and made its way through the neighborhood to my next door neighbor. I was at home when it hit and I saw first hand the power of a tornado. Even though it was only an F2, it still ripped the roof off my neighbor's home and almost completely stripped my roofing shingles off my home. What they went through may have been a downburst or other strong wind phenomenon, but I don't believe it was a tornado.
