    If you are in a interrogation room or being asked questions by the FBI the first thing out of your mouth should be "I am exercising my right to remain silent and if you are going to ask me questions I need an attorney present. Then shut the "F" up even if you are getting arrested. Cops are not your friend.

    Quite a few years ago, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time and was taken into FBI custody. They put me in a blank room handcuffed for a while, then about 8 cops flooded in with rolley chairs and handed me a paper to sign. The paper had everything listed from about A- H. I read thru it and said I couldn’t sign the paper agreeing to (G) waive my right to an attorney. I was polite about it but they ripped the paper away and were all gone in a flash. Later they came back in and arrested me for a bogus charge. I got out and the charge eventually got dropped. The guilty person had enough problems already. These guys are highly trained, so if I had spoken to them (with or without an attorney), there could have been other problems for me. I should never have been there in the first place and since turned my life around. However, given the situation, I wouldn’t have done anything differently as it probably saved my life. Cops do not care about your life or repercussions. They use you up and spit you out. It’s important to not get caught up in the moment and forget that.

  • @CivilizedWarrior

    @CivilizedWarrior

    3 күн бұрын

    @@ExperiencedGhost do not under any circumstances go with a public defender. Most of them are on the cops side, and even the ones who aren’t are so overworked, they won’t spend a second trying to actually get you off a bogus charge. They will only “get you a plea bargain,” which would’ve been offered anyway, because they always charge you with more, knowing that half of the charges will get dropped anyway. Like when you ask $10,000 for a car you want $6000 for. You get what you pay for. Usually they don’t even know your name or what you were charged with, until they sit down the day of your arraignment and look at the paperwork. Whether you’re guilty or not, you should get a real lawyer. Everyone is entitled to a competent defense, and if the state can’t prove your guilt, that’s on them. Should’ve worked harder and built a better case. It’s not on judges or juries to convict someone if the cops and the prosecutor didn’t do their job correctly. I wish more people would understand that. Better ten guilty men go free, than one innocent man is incarcerated for something he didn’t do. That’s why the system was set up the way it is to begin with. But it’s since been corrupted by crooked cops and DA’s, who care more about case closure rates and conviction rates than actually punishing criminals and dispensing justice.

    The issue between the FBI and the CIA is funding. They compete for the same money which means they each want to take full responsibility for as many successful operations as possible. If one has an ongoing investigation and the other enters into it late, and the operation then becomes a success, that second organization is going to receive significant credit for that success which will affect the following years funding. This kind of system unfortunately does not promote cooperation.

    This whole video is an example of what the government does in any and every generation if their power is unchecked. We need to be cautious of giving governments power. Or as said before, “power to the people”. Although using that phrase in a different context, it’s important to be able to think for yourself.

  • @vanhattfield8292

    No it isn't. This is mostly a list of people who have an FBI file but were never arrested for anything. It only shows that some type of investigation took place and there was no evidence or grounds found for any legal action. In many of the stories you hear him say something like "The FBI was tipped off...", which means someone made a complaint, and complaints need responses so a file is generated to contain the documentation. If these were examples of people who were jailed and the files showed evidence of tampering or falsification of documents that lead to their convictions, you would have a complaint, but that is not what is being shown.

    I used to manage a traditional tobacco shop in Leesburg, VA. One Saturday morning I opened the shop by myself. As my first two customers came walking in door, one asked the other in a thick NY accent, so what do you think the mobs weapon of choice is? Before the other guy could answer, I cut in with my best NY accent, that would be a .22 right behind the ear. They looked at each other then the guy that had asked the question asked me, how do you know so much? I dropped the accent and said, I'm full of useless information. Then he asked me, have you read the book Donnie Brasco? I said, no I didn't know it was a book, but I own the movie. I'm a big Johnny Depp fan and it's a great movie. He said, no no no, you gotta read the book. Then he started to go on and on about Donnie Brasco. Brasco this, Brasco that. Then the guys walked in the humidor to start picking out cigars. At this point I had a few more customers walk in. The guys came out of the walk in humidor and came up to the register to pay for the cigars. The guy that did all the talking paid for all the cigars while the other one walked out of the shop. After the cigars were paid for, this guy leans over the counter and whispers at me, that guy I'm with? He's the real Donnie Brasco. You just met Donnie Brasco. You know there's still half a million dollar bounty on his head? I said, yeah, they mentioned that at the end of the movie. Then he walked out. So I thought to myself, was that really Donnie Brasco? Maybe it was, but maybe it wasn't. I honestly had no clue. True story. Not more than 3 or 4 days later I was channel surfing on the television. I landed at the beginning of a show I had never seen before called True Crime Authors. And there he was. Joe Pistone, aka Donnie Brasco, and it was indeed the guy that came into the cigar shop. I never heard his voice till I watched the show since I interrupted the conversation when the guys walked in the shop.

    Hhmmm...if you don't think our government is capable of silencing individuals who present controversy you are indeed very naive.
