OnlineMediaCollection mine didn't activated once with this guys voice, then I tried it using my voice, and it worked. security has improved a lot.

That was pretty cool. Didn't know you can do all that. Looking forward to this on my Nexus 5 that comes in on Monday.

I asked the same questions to Siri as I Watched the video and she answered like 20% of the questions! The rest she just said "I found this on the web!" and gave me Wikipedia links. Its pretty amazing what Google Now can do! :)

I thought there was a download to fix that. Android silver might be coming out at Google io, so hopefully that changes.

OK I know this video is a few months old, but still amazing what is possible using Google Now and it can only get better.

Better than Siri IMO the coolest thing to me is how Google Now knows what you are talking about when you ask "What is the capital of France" then you ask 'What time is it there?" How does it know what "there" is?

Google Now is better in this way that it keeps the Previous conversation and when we say 'there' or 'he' or e.t.c then it just loads according to the Previous information...this thing is not found in S voice or Siri. But I just want to add that google now has just got some limited features...its way better with online searhing, but it can't figure out everything said to it related to Phone's apps, like if you say "turn on the wifi" it do not figure it out oretly and instead of turning wifi on it just go online for searching....So I prefer S-voice and Siri in that way... You can not say that google now is better than S-voice or Siri...there are things which can't be done with Google now but can be done with these two search recognitions.

Hello Marc, if you want to use the "Hotword detection" as they call it, you have to activate it, to make it, go to your Google app in your Android and activate Google Now (if you already did it is ok) Now, scroll down til you see three little black icons, tap in the right one (three little dots in vertical line) and choose "settings", then make a tap in "Voice", you have to see that in "Language" English (US) is marked as default if it is correct so you have to check the "Hotword detection" and later go back to Google Now. Make a refresh and then try to say "OK Google" to your phone. Have fun with your phone ;) (I have a Samsung Galaxy SII (S2) with Android OS Jelly Bean (4.1.2) and I did it, then I installed the Google Experience Launcher and is just perfect many people think i have Android Kit Kat hahaha)

Make sure you have the latest version of "Google Play Services" (4.0.34) and "Google Search" (3.1.24.941712.arm) and you have installed Google Text-to-Speach... Also I forgot to tell you you have to download the dictionary... Go to Settings>voice> (as you did last time) and in "offline speech recognition" in the "all" tab download the English US language and then look for "Hotword detection" sorry if I didn't say it (and sorry for my English I'm from Guatemala and my mother language is Spanish)

Adrian Ionescu The fact that it recognizes words like "him", "its", "there" and etc (dont kow what those are called in english xD) is pretty awesome. And proves more evolved API than Siri. But I do agree Siri is better when it comes to making changes in the phone, in stuff like setting and correcting alarms, appointments and things of the sort.
