I bought one just like that for $50 as well. Put on some new Kawasaki 110 plastics I had laying around, fixed a couple of small things and sold it for $300 easily. It was a fun bike. I almost wrecked it when I shifted from the top of third gear down to second by mistake. The shift pattern is opposite from the Japanese bikes so that took some getting use to. Up was downshift and down was upshift.

Hey man, I was gifted a 125cc Chinese dirt bike and it's really rusted, like in the video. Anyways, where can I find parts for it? Are the fairings universal? I'm sorry for the questions I just don't know where to start since I've never had a bike, let alone restore one

I built my own from a frame and swingarm, built it 2 years ago and it still runs fine after more than 30 rides

When cleaning plugs always remember to slide some high grit paper inbetween the element (inbetween the top part).

When he finally did get it started it was leaking so much fuel

It didn't leak any fuel when we started it, the wet spots on the ground were already there before we started it.

Always 1 step if moped is standing long, check the sparplug and gas in the tank!

It was the only safe container I had.

I’m notorious for buying bikes like this. Been doing it for 30+ years. Few tips-Drain the fluids in safer containers NOT used water bottles. Oil bottles, old fuel cans, metal coffee cans but anything is better than a plastic bottle that will melt. Start with the simplest things you need to replace anyway-air filter, spark plugs etc. Don’t throw money at something it might not need. Also-Screw extractor sets, tap and dies-CRITICAL for older dirt bikes because screws and bolts WILL strip, break etc.

Yeah just swapped a Q to a crackhead for his 125cc atomik, has some rattles and starter relay is kaput but its pretty fun. Now what can i put on it...hmm

I got a 2020 pit bike for $300 in perfect condition but with a blown rim. Bought a new tube tire and rim all done and came assembled for $100. $400 for a 2020 mint pit bike not bad in my opinion. Im also in canada so shits more expensive here

It’s a air leak or the carb jets can sometimes be lean and cause issue/rarely like that.

I am constantly checking ads and I never find deals like that.

I also got a pit bike fore 90 dollars and all it needed was a tube and clean the carb and it started first kick but after awhile the piston gave up and it wouldn't start so I got a piston and rings and it fired right up

Most likely the carb is too big try to find a Suzuki 4 stroke 125 carb bc I had the same problem with my Yamaha

I've had two or three over the years. There good fun quads. I put a few bolt on performance parts on one. It would lift the front tires about four inches when I grab second at full throttle and hang with the 300cc sport quads easily. Not bad for a 250 with shaft drive.

@@jordanormsbee3398 You can get it going cheap. No need for a battery since it has a pull start. Cleaning the carb is very easy. Just look up how to videos on that. As for the tires they'll be fine if there bald. Just throw some slime in there for now to hold air. Probably get it going for about $20 to $30.

I have number plates, gas tank shrouds and a rear fender for one of those

The yellow ones on the bike are very fragile, just looking at them is enough to crack them 😅

I mean I would get it, spray paint the plastic, change the tires/ blow them up if needed and then give it gas and try to force it to work
