Just a hint. If you let the Mod Podge dry, then put the tissue paper on top of it, place parchment paper on top of the tissue paper and iron it with a hot iron, you will not have wrinkles or frustration. I found that hint on a website and have been very grateful for it. I am enjoying this video. Thanks!

You are so creative!! Bottom of sleds are called runners. The sleds are darling!! I love the beaded snowflakes!! All your signs are so cute!!

So far my favorite is the Sleigh parking sign with the sleighs. So stinking cute!! Oh and I think those are called runners on the sleigh🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ ❤

I have watched this twice through. I have learned so much and truly thank you. I am a cancer patient and this is my first time doing crafts. It’s helping me so much refocus and giving me something to really enjoy!!! It was a bit expensive getting a “stash” set up but I have made several things and am shocked how beautiful this are turning out!!! My favorite are the sheet music crafts. I asked family there favorite hymns and am giving them each one as a gift. So just want to thank you for what you do and what it has meant to me to find your channel!!

I’ve seen where people put the Mod podge on, let it dry completely. Then put paper down and iron it. It goes on perfectly smooth… the heat of the iron makes the mod pudge tacky again and the image holds , it smooths out the paper at the same time and it works great

You could run some thin jute twine through the pick berry curls and tie that through the holes. Then the weight will be in the twine rather than the thin wire of the pick berries. That should alleviate the stretching.

Mod pod. Dry it. Put napkin or card on top. Add parchment paper on top. Iron. The heat will activated the mod podge.

These are “darling”!!! When you decoupage try going in sections. It goes faster and easier. Lay the image down, fold over half, put the Modpodge down then lay your image over then do the other part. It really makes it smoother. Less tears and wrinkles. Such great projects!

Gray primer under dark colors like red or black. Red is a good base color for metallic gold and green under copper. Enjoyed your video!

Hi Emily, I’m watching you redo the Cherry sign. Part way through, I had paused the video to run to Hobby Lobby before they closed to get a picture frame. I stopped by the clearance isle and as I was looking through I saw this exact sign!! What are the chances.? 😂 There were 2 of them on clearance for $1.74ea, so I got both. The saying on both was GATHER. I also got the picture frame I needed on clearance. (The regular ones 11x17 were $35+) I paid 11.70 for it… now that seemed like a lot for clearance price but then I looked at the original price and it said $117.00 for that particular frame. 😮 Out of my clearance haul I paid $81, I checked when I got home and my savings was $380. So I now have a huge stash to start crafting with. Thanks for all the inspiration, you have wonderful ideas, Thanks

I love when you find great deals like this. You get such good quality pieces to craft with for a fraction of the price. My sign originally said gather and I made the cherry one for summer and then put HoHoHo for winter so it’s a perfect 2 part project. I’m excited you found it! You will love coming up with 6 letter words to use 💕

I never thought of using bags, I’ve always used those hard to fit scrapbook pages for a 12x12 page layout.

Have you ever used an iron to mod podge napkins? Actually, I believe you can use an iron to mod podge regular paper too. But I know it works beautifully with napkins. Paint on a decent coat of mod podge. Let dry. Lay tissue picture ove the dried modpodge. Lay a piece of parchment paper over it. Use a DRY iron and iron over letting it sit 10 -15 seconds. That's it. No top coat of mod podge needed. The mod podge reactivates and covers the tissue paper. Done.
