I love to create high end budget friendly rustic farmhouse DIYs. I love to use Dollar Tree and other dollar store products as well as thrift store items to beautify my home. My style is a mixture of several different types but include Farmhouse, Shabby Chic, Rustic Modern, Traditional and most things vintage.

2:17 for the red/white stripes turning pink when sanding. I few water drops on a FOLDED OVER PAPER TOWEL (fold paper over a few times. Drop on water. Use the side a few layers down from where water was applied. It’s less wet!!) VERY LIGHTLY wipe over the piece- to pick up that sanding dust + it wipes back a hare of paint to reveal CLEAN WHITE PAINT. ⚠️make sure it’s BARELY HARDLY EVEN DAMP to get best results without further smearing red paint. You can always use finger and GO OVER THE 🤍/❤️ SEPARATELY if you have still have issues w bleeding‼️ hope this helps!! It doesn’t undo your distressing or look you were going for. Just cleans up the yucky stuff!!

Beautiful DIYs, Emily. The riser is very cute. I made that same comment about my spackle a few videos back, and a sweet subscriber told me to just add a little water to it. I told her I would try, but it was old none the less 😂. The bee blocks and the one on the canvas turned out cute. Tfs and hosting ❤
