    50 was giving his baby mother 25K a month but her sense of entitlement had her thinking she deserved more so 50 being wise took himself to child support court and proved he was providing more than required thus they reduced his payments to $6700. I’m going through some bullshit right now as we speak. I’ve raised my son by myself and his mom finally came into his life when he was 12. And now he hates me, calls me the liar and the monster and wants to live with his mom. I have every court case and missed visit documented. I’ve literally rolled pennies to get pampers and whipes. And it hurts so bad and literally killing my spirit. But there is a part of me that just wants to give up until something opens his eyes. It’s really hard. I don’t know what to do. I’ve never missed a doctor appointment, a practice, honor roll, a game or a jiu jitsu match. I don’t know how she brainwashed him and turned him against me. And I pray over this every night. But it’s killing me my boy was my life support everything I did was for him…. I’m Just so freaking lost, And don’t have the answers.

    @@nolagyrl4793 I agree. As a father you would want to be with your child. The problem is that in most states they always grant custody to the mother. In her case it was a win win. She was getting $6700 for the child and she was getting $25,000 allowance for her. So she would of fought in court with everything she has.

  • @KR-oo2wx

    @KR-oo2wx

    Жыл бұрын

    @@nolagyrl4793 here we go another broad thinking it’s easy. 1. Child support is a hustle for the state itself. Child support in NYS and all the rest of the states are refunded by the government with interest of 66%. So 50 gaining custody ain’t happening 2. For a state, county, city, etc. to take a child away from the mother something extreme has to happen. The mother would have to be extremely abusive. As in ashing cigarettes off on a child, beating a child and leaving bruises, no food in the fridge, a home with a pest infestation that has to be so overwhelming, or the mother has to have an extreme drug addiction: heroin, meth, crack, coke. And even then if the mother has some sort of postpartum then the courts will always work with her: Counseling. 3. 50 was on the road during his son’s younger years and because of it he was the bread winner. How would he have taken his son from the mother if he wouldn’t have been able to show that he is more of a consistent parent than his mother? 4 you think the mother would have just let THEIR son go with his dad and she has all that money coming in? PLUS she was staying in a mansion paid for by 50. Even if his son said something about living with his dad you don’t think his mother told him things like “your father doesn’t love you”? You really need to think before you speak and stop just siding with your gender in support. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I work in CPS and I’ve seen it all. One woman had 8 kids by multiple men and she loved shootin up. It took roughly 5 years for the state to step in and allow the fathers to get their kid… AFTER she shot up in the car in a KFC parking lot. Before she did it she told one of his kids if she stops responding to call 911

    If Marquise would’ve reached out publicly like this back when he was getting child support, 50 might’ve reacted differently. But at 25 years old, to now say “come spend some time with me” when child support is over and money might be low is disingenuous. 50 is the father and should be blamed as well, but Marquise definitely antagonized this man all while getting a check from him every month. Maybe 50 will forgive him (hopefully he does) but the energy Marquise and his mom gave to 50, they gotta stand on that.

    See 50 literally had another son to replace his first son. The guy grew up with no dad, mom died when he was a kid. According to Yayo, he saw 50 selling crack at age 12. His mentality is hard bc at a young age he lost everything & he made it on his own. His son had a mom who spent all his child support money & at age 25 doesn’t know the concept of money. 50 is the type of guy that will never reach out to u. He respects loyalty. I’ve only met a few men like him but those types of men will turn their back on their kid if the kid ain’t loyal to him. The mom made a long term mistake. Being money hungry & not ensuring ur son has a real relationship with his Dad hurt her in the long run too. See 50 could’ve had marquise working for him in many of his businesses, which would’ve meant he could help his mom. They didn’t have foresight Now they’re both in the red & bleeding fast financially. Never ever bite the hand that feeds

    A lot of people aren't even factoring inflation, $6,700 now is weaker than $6,700 back in 2007. The other thing people fail to mention is the mother used to get $25,000 a month, she wasn't happy with that and went to court to raise that amount and instead the judge said she was OVERPAID and got it reduced to $6,700 so in reality the son has gotten way more money than people realize. Imagine $25,000 a month back in 2007? That's like $30,000+ in today's time.

    Today 6700 is only weak if you trying to live expensive, lavish. $6700 is plenty. Marquise ain't go no kids. He ain't got a family to take care of. He can get a one bedroom or studio apt in my area anywhere from $900-$1600 depending on the quadrant of the city he choose. He can grocery shop and take care of his self for I'd say a good $3-400/month, get a $10,000 pre-owned car off CarMax with low mileage, small car note, and low cost insirance, amd he would be well taken care of on $6700/month. Anyone think 6700 is small change is living some sort of wealthy lifestyle most ppl will never see.

    The greatest lesson my mother, through my oldest brother, taught me (my father passed when I was 4) was that learning to survive without her support for a month and being exposed to how the world works outside of her physical support was essential to my growth as a man. I was never entitled, but this lesson was quite valuable nonetheless. When I was 13, my mom sent me and my middle brother to stay with my young adult (at the time) brother for the summer. My mother left my brother funds if needed, but he never used them. He taught us what being grown and on your own was about. I learned lessons that summer that my mother could never have properly taught me. That summer and the lesson I learned resonate with me to this day (I’m 52 years old). My point here is that 50’s son should stop feeling sorry for himself. I wish my father had lived to be available to me to talk to. I have zero respect or sympathy for a grown man complaining that $6700 a month in child support for him was inadequate. I bet if he had to pay $6700 a month to a woman he had a child with that his tune would change with a quickness. His mother lived off that money vs putting a portion of it in a fund so that he could have a nest egg to start out on when he grew into adulthood. This is just bitterness on his part and his mother’s part for not living to the same standard as 50. Most people have to work smart and create their own luck to get anywhere near where 50 is in life. No one appreciates the unearned dollar. This situation prove that point.

    This is real. My son started smelling himself at 15. He saw me struggle to move us out of the projects to living comfortably in an upper middle class area. I worked hard. He had money in his pocket and hanging with friends from school went to a store and stole something that was like $12. Up until that point I had never had any problems out of him. At 16, again with friends he gets into a big brawl in school. Now I'm in court. The judge was a black woman who lectured the boys on the path they were heading down if they didn't get it together. I did my lecturing and it was going no where he thought he was cool acting silly in school. So I sent him to go live with his dad so that he could get a glimpse at what his future would be if he didn't heed my advice. He was there for 6 days calling asking me to buy him an air mattress, pillow and a blanket because he was sleeping the floor. His dad was asking him for money. When my son turned 16 I gave him the debit card that the $60 a week in child support went to. His dad demanded the card. His dad is an alcoholic who accused my son of having sex with his then 25 y/o dad's girlfriend. He would each day and tell me his tales of woe. Hiding his dad's car from the repo man, gas and electric being shut off, no food blah,blah, blah...By week 6 he was begging to come home. I made him stay another 4 or 5 weeks before I let him come home. Needless to say he got his shit together after that. He saved his money from child support and his part time jobs and by the time he was 19 used it for a downpayment and bought himself a house. He is now about to turn 22 and I'm so proud of him. His credit score better than mines lol he learned the value of a dollar and what mismanagement and dumb decision could lead to. He understood a house was an investment and a savings account that he could tap into whenever he needed to. I was only getting $240 a month in CS and we survived so they damn sure could've made $6700 p/m work.

Greed and entitlement from his baby mother killed that relationship. 50 was giving her 25k a month for alot of years when his son was young. She decided to break the relationship off with 50 and still expected him to take care of her at one point she wanted him to give her 50k a month while having another man lived in the house that 50 brought her Marquis and his sister to live in. 50 was smart to put her on child support because she was suing him for like 50 million that got thrown out of court.

    Believe it or not...you can pay child support until they turn 26 years old, but they have to "special needs" in the state of NY. Several years ago if child was continuing education after High School, you can still pay child support until 26 years also. But that changed. Thank God.

    50 cent stated on the Breakfast Club that he's paying for his son's college and the child support is ending in two months.

    He's upset at 50 because his mother is upset at 50, if you a fan of 50 there's footage of him spending time with his son, he had him in the wangsta video, he took him on your at one point, he got his baby mother a whole house which burned down and she blamed 50 for it and he wasn't even in that state at the time, 50 paid for this college tuition, had pictures of him playing football, all this because he asked for a pair of sneakers and 50 said no, so therefore he sided with his mother negative thoughts on 50, if he was more grateful im sure by now he'll have a job working with 50, why not ask for advice on to owning your own business to make your own money, dude 25 and still getting money from his dad, the way 50 came up her was still halfway hustling at that age, his son never had to see the streets, get shot or shot at, arrested, or robbed because who his father is. He wouldn't have survived a day in Southside if 50 left him there. 50 don't even fuck with banks like that but at least found a way to make his own money without 50 helping him for years. His son wants a handouts, if I had a kid like that, I'll reach out one more time to reconnect, if it don't work, I'll throw him 100 stacks and say good luck.

    That "spend time with you for $6,700 comeback by his son was weak. You can do a lot with your father with that type of money. His goofy ass would probably want to go jewelry shopping with 50 to "prove a point". The fact that their relationship has become strictly about money says a lot about the relationship because if Marquise really wanted a relationship with 50, child support would be the least of his problems..but no he wants to live like a millionaire because his dad is and yet hasn't done anything to build for himself to be worth even half his father

    Money aside in most cases like that the mother is to blame she in her attempt to hurt the father by using the child she destroys the child psychologically that may never going to get better and in the process affecting the children her son will have in the future just because she wanted to hurt the father. She creates a cycle that will continue for generations till someone strong enough breaks it. I personally going to something similar and like 50cent I have decided to walk away and do what is best for myself and my life.
