Took me back with this one. Ultimately, I didn't like Mobb Deep's fit with G-Unit, but they had a few like this one, that were home runs while they were signed. Great beat by Dr. Dre, great hook by 50, and all three did their thing with the verses.

This was everywhere. Listen to Mobb Deep & 50 Cent Pearly Gates. The "blasphemous" version. Prodigy got that song banned with his verse. It was dope though.

Him writing his hooks first definitely makes a difference. Most people's hooks are just fillers, his hooks are the real body of the song

2005 when 50 signed and brought MOP & Mobb Deep to G-Unit. He re-released his 2nd official album Massacre with this song and a DVD of all music videos for every song on there except Hate It Or Love It Remix...because obviously Game was on that, and he was beefing with him at that time. But this was like the replacement for that song at the end.

haha love it! brings back memories. Fun fact: I worked on this music video. It was shot at then avalon nightclub in NYC and at that time I worked for the director Jesse Terrero. It was suppose to look like 3 different clubs but all were shot in one spot over the course of like 15 + hrs day. A lot of my friends are in this video I put them in as extras.
