    Saying "I need to apologize" is not an apology that is just stating what needs to be done. This generation does not know how to apologize. Apologizing is outright saying I'm "sorry" listing off what you did and how you'll change and be better in the future. Then finishing with asking for forgiveness. If Meg wasn't prepared to talk about the whole thing then they should've just done the trial.
