i use my timex Q reissue gmt function to tell the time in texas for some online apex legends, mates in texas im in Middleton

I love the look of them! Little pricey for my current microbrand budget. There's soooo many sub $500 micro watches that it's hard to bite the bullet on ones costing more

Hey Kieron, great list and interesting info as usual. I agree about vintage watches, I've got a mid 70's Omega Seamaster Quartz. Gold plated and gold tone dial with a date window at 3 o'clock. It's a bit on the small size at 34mm but it makes a beautiful dress watch at a great price. Thanks for another great video 👍

Great recommendations! I totally agree with you about GMT's; I don't understand their popularity. However, they seem to be everywhere. Ideally this is a trend that will go away soon. Your advice makes a great deal of sense...if you need to track multiple timezones, get a Casio!

I think they have a place, but I don't see the huge buzz around them. They're cool and all, but a bit useless if you can do basic math 😆

It should be 36-38mm, Quartz or Solar, 5atm or more, Saphirglas , around 350€or lessand spotdresser Style lika a Omega aquaterra or Nomos Club Campus etc. I found the tissot prx35 and Junghans Milano Solar, Seiko sur315. What do you think about this Watches and do you have some other recommandations?

Check out the Longines longines L1.633 - it's a neo-vintage sports watch. 37mm, Domed Sapphire, quartz, 50m, Intergrated bracelet. I have one, and I absolutely love it. You'll be able to find one in your budget easy

I have a kamasu coming tomorrow. It'll be my first dive watch and my third watch in my collection overall not counting my garmin fenix. Gonna try and pick up a seiko when I go back to japan in may.

Personally I'd avoid anything with the ST19 in it. My Sugess 1963 lasted exactly 364 days and is now effectively a paperweight as the cost to get it looked at would likely be prohibitive. There's one Orient diver that always gets overlooked and that's the so called Triton mini. Slightly smaller but superior to the Kano with sapphire and elements of the Kamasu and the SKX.

I'd recommend buying a replacement movement and swapping them over yourself. You only need simple tools and it's very easy to do. It'll be good fun. Also, sell the broken movement on eBay as repairs. It wouldn't cost you too much in the end. Good shout with the Orient diver! Love that one too

I've been eyeing up the Sugess SUCHP003S (yes, that is the reference number...) Which uses the ST19 movement. Not usually one for the sportier looking designs but something about that model just works for me, might be the thinner case edge round the dial, its a little bit more elegant than similar watches.

@@TopTierTicker deffo worth a look, admittedly I can't say Sugess produce anything that's particularly original but they have pretty nice range of chronographs with the ST1901 movement and sapphire crystal all for around £200

I always wonder how disposable are the ST19 movements and if it makes more sense to just get something with a VK64. That’s why I never got one.

It's just as disposable as an NH or Miyota 8000 series. It will never be cost effective to service cheap movements. It'll be cheaper to swap it out for a new one. Or, pay the extra, get it serviced, and enjoy the watch for years

I love my AD2030.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that GMT watches are a waste of time (no pun intended!) They really are over hyped and there seems to be a new release almost daily.

I have permission from my Finance Director (wife) to get a Mr. Jones. I've narrowed it down to A Perfectly Useless Afternoon or Berry Late. You may get see it, possibly still with the stickers on.

I believe that microbrands are the way to go, I love my Seiko, orient and orient Star even my Bulova and citizen but microbrands offer a lot for your money and if you can get a two year or two year plus warranty 🤯 you're laughing 😀👍

These are, by watch industry standards, affordable watches. A £1000 Christopher Ward is still a lot of money to me personally. But I'm aware that it's on the affordable end of the market. We don't need to use different language, it is what it is.
