I had to take about 10 takes on the ballistic gel slo-mo. Initially the block is engulfed in powder flash. Next, what appears to be a pressure wave drills to the full length. Finally the shot enters the block, rolls it back on itself like a candy bar wrapper, completely disintegrating the core. The big finally is watching the block flailing about before doing a double backflip off the table.
We need to see 50 BMG ratshot against a ballistics dummy. That much energy must be devastating to the body. Also Scott, have you seen 120mm Ratshot?

That slap round would have blown apart a Barrett! More than likely the Barrett, the Semi-Auto version would have contained the explosion slightly better being there is way more metal construction, but the Barrett bolt action .50BMG would have come apart just as the RN 50 aside from the breach lock part blowing into Scotts orbital bone. That wouldn't have happened, but all the other injuries would likely still occur in some form or fashion. The RN 50 is built very tough!

Well muzzle flash makes sense since they’re probably a pretty light projectile. As for recoil, it *is* still .50 bmg
Way more fun than expected. NICE :)
Scott, you didn't make life, you made life better! I really do enjoy all your videos. Stay safe buddy!
Even though I know most of the time this is going to be as silly as hell, but I can't stop myself from watching. It's like me and my friends at 8 to 11 yrs old shooting the old top break pistols from old farmers in the area in 38 colt long, 38 S&W long, etc.
I had a blast (no pun intended) watching this video! As always it was so much fun! Thanks again, Scott!
