I suspect they may have tranquilized her, but of course I can't prove that. If they did, that justifies needed resuscitation ... Otherwise how would she ever let them near her baby?

Angelo, I was about to post the same thoughts. it's difficult to see goodness in poeple these days. But it's there. So many great saves. But the elephants scene is AMAZING! pachyderm CPR...soooooo wonderful and inspiring.

It really brings me to tears when animals are mistreated or suffer due to life's cruel circumstances, so I thank God for every compassionate human being who helps these poor creatures. Am always addicted to such videos, this gives me joy and happiness knowing that no matter how dangerous, aggressive and poisonous animals maybe,there is also love, understanding and acknowledge that man can solve there problems. Very satisfying feeling

It's unlikely. It could then become dependent on humans for food and put itself and people in harms way in the future. Unless they plan to relocate an animal to a sanctuary/zoo, they typically won't intervene.

20:55 - The story on that polar bear is bunk. Not sure where he heard it, but they lied to him! That was a diseased bear who had also suffered an injury. The bear was not starving because of "melting sea ice", it was starving because it was unable to move fast enough to capture it's dinner. This happens every year, primarily with older animals....and again, has absolutely nothing to do with the stated premise. It didn't make it. Roughly 2 weeks after the footage was shot, the bear was dead. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news (I had no intention of making a pun there!)

@@christinevogt-klimshuk2461 He lied about it. The polar bear was starving because of melting sea ice. But the humans intervened and it made a miraculous recovery and lived a long, thriving life. It is still alive today! :)

With what's going on in the world, it's wonderful to see the kind acts of people - quite life affirming.

I watch these shows to remind me that there really are a lot of good people in this world. I am grateful to every one of these amazing people and thrilled to see the results of their kindness. May God bless them all, people and animals alike.

Same here. I have often found injured or abandoned birds, and people also know I know how to help animals so they turn up at my house with random wildlife. I have hand reared many kinds of birds and most of them get to go back to the wild where they belong. I don't like doing it, because it takes so much time and effort and I am a lazy person, but I just can't say no to an animal in need.

I’ve been bitten by a bat and had to get rabies shots, which, if anyone has had to do is EXTREMELY painful, yet it didn’t stop me from saving a bat on a different occasion. They’re one of my favorite animals, hence the name!

When I watch people help animals it makes me so happy that there are people who do care about animals. I rescue cats and I have saved 100s of them. I get them spayed & neutered and find them homes. Animals are a gift from God!

I have climbed up beneath a highway overpass in my church dress & high heels to rescue an exhausted stray dog I thought injured or worse! Being a Sunday, my husband asked firemen for help as city workers no where to be found. We were told "you're on your own guy"! Well, high heels or no, we got the dog on a blanket, turned stretcher, headed to emergency vet. Dog head resting on my lap. We discovered only exhaustion, as he could not stand. He recovered, thrived and found a new family a few weeks later. Best Sunday church experience I'd had in a while....no mind they called me a crazy lady! No problem, I have a different definition of "sane" !!!

The last one was so sad -- that polar bear was completely emaciated. I really hope someone helped her.

@@shaktown5456 I couldn't agree more man. It certainly doesn't help that men and women are taught to hate each other in this country. Or that simply because we have decent technology that we're so damn different from Vikings, Mongols, Romans, the Rus, Feudal Japan. We're the exact same beings wearing different clothes. It only hurts us to pretend otherwise, we should be taught that we are riddled with flaws and that it's okay so long as you're working hard to become better. Not this whole "YoU'rE bOrN pErFect" bullshit. I don't think ever in human history that we have made boxes that don't exist and actually convince OTHER people that they truly belong in a specific box that doesn't exist. The end result of all this is Gen Z and Alpha.

Great, heartwarming compilation. Just one note, though: the vulture that rests on the paraglider is a pet! His name is "Uru", from "urubu" (Brazilian word for "vulture"). The pilot, Ricardo Guimarães and Uru are old friends to each other, and are famous here in Brazil for that.

I love how gentle all the animals were taking the food/water right from the people. I personally would have done the same as the people that helped the animals, but if you are definitely to afraid call a wild life preserve professional and let them help if there's no time do anything you can to help them

Once found a small bat (size of a mouse) on shop floor in winter,(Canada). It was sneezing and coughing and cold. Put it on the very warm hood of the truck and covered it with rags. It was gone the next day..
