Both Bol and Muhammad (3rd and 2nd PBs in history) are unclucky. Let's take Allyson Felix and the standard 400 m. She had a long and very successful career with multiple gold medals, while having "only" a 21st PB in history at this distance. Bol And Muhammad may possibly fail at winning any gold in a race where McLaughlin will be present, while being 3rd and 2nd in history. Unfortunate.

@@silvesta5027 You can't be 1.5 seconds slower in a sprinting discipline and be talked about. It's the same shit they used to do with LaMaitre. The dude has amassed unearned notoriety and millions of views on his videos yet he, at 22, cant even win at college outdoor finals. Sydney is miles more impressive. Regardless of Flo-Jo’s achievements, she was only the world’s greatest for a single year - 1988. Before that point she was a strong athlete and a medal contender - but nothing special. It’s why her records are seen with such suspicion. She improved inhumanly quickly at the end of her career (0.48 second improvement to her 100m PB in a single year) and then retired immediately after, at just 28. Sydney’s achievements (even at just 22), are already more impressive - at least imo
